Loved the new Pandan cloud matcha that was recently added to their specialty drinks, can't wait to come back and try the blueberry latte and their food items. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

There is spaces in the front on a sidewalk but signs there to not allow parking. Other street parking is a rarity due to it being off a busy main street. Nonetheless, the spot is very cute, with a floral wall with an orange couch for picture opportunities. There is ample seating, 2 seater, 4- seater and some high-tops. Wifi is available and free so this is a great working spot. I ordered the cappucino and the chicken mozzarella sandwich. The sandwich took a while as my server forgot to put my order in. Also, the sandwiches are pre-made and refrigerated. My cappuccino was pretty good and sandwich was good. Overall, a nice vibe for a coffee shop. Close to the Orange Train Station

There is almost always music playing and I really appreciate them taking orders over the phone and online. They also have this cool complimentary option of personalizing your cup with a black & white photo of you if you ask. I've also had the turmeric latte and the avocado toast which are worth getting again. The toast was fresh and flavorful. They have an enclosed booth that looks like it seats 4. Great for a little open privacy. The couches are quite comfortable as well. They have punch cards which is good, but I'm terrible with remembering so it would be great if they went digital with rewards. Maybe 1 point per visit or 1 point per $1 with tiered rewards. It's the only coffee shop I go to in the area that doesn't have digital rewards. Would love to see more vegan options on the menu, maybe a cinnamon roll lol. Con is they open late for a cafe. Coffee shops typically open at 7am.

It's cozy, small, has warm décor, friendly staff, just enough seating, and the music overhead was chef's kiss. And bonus: it's a Black-owned business, which I will always support. We ordered a small iced coffee with oat milk and sugar, an iced chai latte, the grilled cheese with arugula, and the egg platter. Everything was pretty good -- I wasn't blown away, but it was solid and seasoned well. I really wanted to try the French toast because I've heard so many good things, but they told me it would be a 30-minute wait. Our food ended up taking about 20 minutes anyway, so honestly, I probably should've just held on and waited for it. Next time! Prices are what you'd expect for a coffee shop in the suburbs of West Orange. We lucked out with a parking spot right in front, but parking in that area can definitely be tricky. They also sell Harper's Café merch -- t-shirts, sweatshirts, and quarter zips. I'm definitely going back to try the French toast and the pancakes because I saw several people ordering them, so they must be worth it. This is a great place to hang out, read a book, get some work done, chat with a friend, or vibe solo. Harper's Café gives you all the good feels, and I'll absolutely be returning. One note: the menu is limited, and not everything you see online may be available that day -- just something to keep in mind.

I enjoyed seeing all of the mediterranean-inspired options they had on the menu. I also ordered a plain iced latte which was great! The espresso was very smooth. My most consistent go-to is the Matcha Latte with Rosewater Simple Syrup. Sometimes you can actually taste the rose and it complements the matcha nicely. One thing I will say for the women, if you are into cycle syncing, there are so many options here for us. Fave foods to order are the cauliflower pita & lentil soup. The salad is quite filling and fresh. Actually all of their food is fresh. I like the falafel bowl although it can be a little dry. I typically drizzle olive oil on it. The tahini is good, but it's only enough for the falafels. The falafels are good as well; authentically flavorful. Def try the meze options. I've never ordered something and didn't get it a second or third time. I eat predominantly vegan and this spot gives me options galore like I'm back in NYC. Amazing for dine-in and the best at bagging your takeout/delivery. Stapling the liquids inside a smaller bag to stay in place in the larger bag? The most thoughtful packing I've come across honestly. Would love to see them add a vegan pastry or few. I appreciate that they do digital rewards now as well
