I found a gem! Richie and Juan provided professional and speedy service. The metal part of one of my 2011 Honda Odyssey key fobs had fallen out of the cracked fob shell. I bought a replacement fob shell online and needed to have the key cut and the "guts" from my cracked key fob transferred into the new shell (no programming required). I had called another place prior to calling Artie's, and they quoted me $175 to cut and program. I told them I didn't need programming, just cut and gut transfer. They quoted me $140 for that! HOWEVER, Artie's quoted me $45 to cut and transfer the guts to the new shell. It took them no more than 10 minutes to take care of key fob. The shop is clean and professional, located in a nice outdoor mall. I highly recommend this place! read more

This was my second time having keys copied at Artie's Lock and Key and I was very impressed with how quickly the job was done. Recently, I needed unit keys made for my new condo and learned Artie's Lock and Key was the only Locksmith in town that had the special template for this particular unit key. When I called to confirm this information, the store representative stated they did not have the template in the store, but he would call me when they arrived. Sure enough, I received a call less than a week later that the templates that would allow the locksmith to make the keys was in. Ricky saved me hundreds of dollars on my car key compared to the price offered by my car dealership. My remote car key fob locked itself in my car in my garage (which is supposed to be impossible) so I wanted an additional fob to keep at home in case I got locked out again. My dealer quoted me $600 for replacement fob plus programming. I called Artie's to see if they were less expensive. Rick suggested a much cheaper option than replacing the entire fob. He said there was a spare key inside my fob that could open the outside car door, and for $50 he could make a copy of that key to keep at home. I cannot say enough great things about Ricky. He was very patient and kind. Knowledgeable and went out of his way to assist me. A woman! Not knowing a thing. I had lost my spare car keys with the remote to unlock car. I only had one key to open and start the car. The other key wouldn't unlock the doors but would start the car. He was a genius and put it all together for me so now I have two fully operating sets and saved me a ton of money.
