Went for a late lunch on a Sunday, during Miami Spice, for my birthday. Made reservations online and noted the special occasion. A nice gentleman greeted us, I asked for a table outside with a view, if possible. He promptly walked us to a table close to the water. It was a hot day out, yet it felt so nice and breezy outside. The view is beautiful -- sit outside! The place feels relaxed and is not crowded. Our server, Daniel, was very friendly. The food came at just the right pace -- not too slow to drive you crazy, but slow enough so you can enjoy your time there without feeling rushed. Miami Spice food was delicious. At the end, Daniel brought out macarons for my birthday -- a sweet touch! Between wine, the three courses and coffee, we were there for about two hours. Went for dinner with another couple. The restaurant is elegant and classy, yet casual and fun. Drinks, Apps, Mains and Deserts were all awesome! Really enjoyed my Old Fashioned, well crafted and on point. For apps, be sure to get the Crispy Pork Belly. The Short Ribs were amazing! Even the sides were special. We had the Corn and Brussels Sprouts. Desert was nothing less than special. We ordered all of them for the table. Whatever Chef Paula recommends, eat it! This place is not good . First of all the service sucks the waiter is also the buss boy who is also the assist and perhaps is making the food back there who knows . He is literally serving all the tables he is clearly a hard worker but it is annoying bc he always felt like he was running around at one point he took my order and I felt extremely rushed so I told him come back his reasoning he had ice cream he Didn't want to melt for another table . Your telling me he is only guy that can serve that ice cream ? This is a 5 star hotel supposedly ??? In terms of my meal I got the salmon and it had a very fishy taste to it I didn't like it . Beautiful view if the ocean from the restaurant. We ate for appetizers the Fig and burrata salad, oysters and a ceviche which all were delicious and well prepared. Next course was the Octopus appetizer with some roasted carrots. Definitely a dish worth repeating. Lastly we had the monkfish for two. That is why the rating was average. It took so long for us to get the fish, by the time it arrived it was slightly overdone. The kitchen and bar had no sense of time. We were just about done with our appetizers, when we finally got bread. Then after the Octopus is when I received my glass of wine. Amazing brunch! The place is beautiful, we sat outside on account it was a nice breezy day. Downside to sitting outside is that you exposed to birds and they tend to leave a little gift on your chair or table, obviously the clean it but keep that in mind. To say this place is a disappointment would be a vast understatement. The food as a whole was bland and boring. The burger was over cooked (Really? The Ritz doesn't know how to cook a burger??). The menu is limited. The waiter was slow and uninformed. It took ten minutes to get a side of mayo that would hopefully add some flavor to my meal. My husband ended up going to get it himself. They do not know anything about the beers they offer. The bill was $78 for a simple burger, a boring fish sandwich and two lame drinks. Two other diners nearby complained about their meals. Atmosphere was nice, casual and comfortable. There was an outside option as well. Food was good, I ordered the short rib and it was a decent portion size, just a little over-priced. $27 dollars for the medium sized plate did not add up. Though the menu was small, it showed good variety, offering different seafood and cuts of meat. Absolutely worth staying for a desert the doughnuts and toffee cake were delicious. This was our best food experience in Miami as well as the best service. The ambience outdoors was amazing and the hostess was kind and very helpful in making menu decisions. She also was able to customize some options so that the vegans didn't feel a lack of choice. A bit on the expensive side, but the over all experience is worth it. read more

Place is beautiful with great water views; food was OK nothing to brag about. We took advantage of the Miami Spice but will probably not return. I had the seafood bucatini which was not bad but it lacked seafood, just 2 large shrimp, 3 tiny mussels and 2 calamari. No clams or lobster as stated in the menu. The chicken croquettes were too dry and the baked Alaska was different than the ones I've had at other places but that was still the best part of the 3-course meal. My husband had the burrata and churrasco, and those were better options. At least it was worth the $39 Miami Spice price, but definitely not for their regular menu prices. So if you want to try it, take advantage now during August and September. read more

Service and food are subpar, particularly for what a Ritz Carlton experience should be. We had breakfast here, it took quite a while for a food to come out even though the restaurant only had 1 other table occupied. Our waiter did not come back to ask if everything came out okay, he only returned to clear out plates. One dish was cold and missing the side. I had to ask another server to get something for us. What is frustrating is that 18% tip is automatically added to the bill, even though our food and service was bad. On our way out we asked to talk to the manager. We explained that we are Ritz platinum members. She apologized but did nothing, this was an opportunity to correct the situation somehow by management. Needless to say we will not be returning. Don't throw away your $100 for breakfast here, there are many other restaurants in Miami with far better service and food. read more

Delicious!!! We went for my wife's birthday based on an article I read on Eater.com which mentioned that Artisan was a cool restaurant located on the water. The menu looked great but we really didn't know what to expect regarding the quality of the food and the service. Needless to say, it was delicious and the service outstanding. We had the beet salad, the mushroom soup and then for mains, I had the short rib (amazing) and my wife the gnocchi. She said it was really good and she lives for pasta. We highly recommend Artisan and will be back during the day time to enjoy more of the view. I highly recommend Artisan Beach House and I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before! read more

Came here for breakfast... I received a breakfast menu that was quite limited (different from the menu on the site) and the waiter took about 15 minutes to fill my water. Once I ordered (an egg white omelette with berries and chicken sausage) I waited for at least 35 minutes until my waiter noticed that I never received my order. Apparently the paper that printed my order was out so it never actually received my order. Once my order arrived it was not an egg white omelette (it was a regular omelette). My water glass was never refilled. The food was good but service was absolutely unacceptable. Hoping to have better experiences here soon. read more

The chicken and okra was great. The view was superb. The service was great. The cauliflower was good.

We had an excellent experience. The pork belly appetizer and Wahoo ceviche were both very well prepared. The striped sea bass and NY strip steak were also wonderful. I would highly recommend. If the weather is nice you will enjoy sitting outside. read more

The view was absolutely breathtaking. Just to have coffee in the morning would be worth a trip. But to have a meal, no. I had the charred kale salad. The greens themselves were tough and not fresh to begin with. They had started that yellowing process that happens with age. I would chew and chew and had to put the first two bites in my napkin and gave up. They were nice enough to remove it from the check. I also had the ceviche. It was very good. My daughter had an omelette and it was missing the meat she ordered to go with it. The mimosa's she ordered were mostly orange juice and we actually asked them to please add some Champagne to it. The service was very, very slow. They might of been shorthanded in the kitchen. My daughter said she had come there with her husband for dinner a while back and the food wasn't that great then, but she had hoped this experience would be better. It is the Ritz Carlton, right? My boyfriend and I went to artisan Beachhouse to try a new place for lunch. The view was very pretty and the Ritz was beautiful. However, the food was very disappointing. We shared the avocado toast which was OK but not exceptional. We shared the siracha peppers which again we're just OK. I had the Cobb salad. The Roquefort was orange intead of being a beautiful creamy white. My boyfriend had a hamburger which was not nearly as good as Houstons. Don't waste your time. read more

I made a reservation for this new restaurant to take my husband to for Father's Day because it was outside on the water. The hostess took us to our table and handed us our menus, but that was the end of any contact from anyone. There were only TWO other tables of two guests and at least TWO servers that we saw. One of the two parties was finished and left and then another party arrived. The new party had waters and drinks served to them, but still no one approached our table as we looked around for some help. NOTHING. After close to 30 minutes we decided to go elsewhere and left. Approaching the restaurant we were immediately greeted by the hostess, who was very friendly, met us with a great smile. Our waiter Jocelyne was very accommodating and knew answers to every question we would ask about the restaurant and the menu. I loved the view from the restaurant and its ambiance, it was cozy and relaxing. And I also noticed that they had a private room for special events and seating outside. We tried a few appetizesr, entry dishes and desserts - wahoo ceviche, toast, octopus, half roasted chicken, cauliflower, dirty rice, etc... Everything was fresh and delicious, and I liked the options - I think anyone can find something up to their liking, whether you are a meat lover or vegetarian. Jocelyn also informed us that some of the dishes on the menu would change to the new ones from time to time. We were enjoying the great quality 'farm to fork' food and Paula Da Silva, the head chef, came out and introduced herself; she is wonderful, incredibly nice and obviously very talented.
