Passing through DFW early this morning I wanted some breakfast. I walked by DFW Artisan Market and there it was "vegan breakfast burrito" on the menu. Yes please! It has vegan cheese, potatoes, and fake chorizo all in a tortilla. I ordered it and waited a few minutes and off to enjoy it. One tip: they wrap the burrito in foil which is nice but the also slice it through. I wasn't quite expecting that and took my first bite as a whole burrito but half fell a bit. Fairly decent breakfast spot at DFW Airport. They serve Addison Coffee, which is a very good coffee product in my humble opinion. I chose the cold brew coffee and enjoyed it. Compared to Starbucks, I liked their coffee better and they offer more seating and a smaller line. Though they are less staffed - so it took awhile for my cold brew and I saw others waiting a longer time for their breakfast items. If you are looking for a quick spot to sit down before going to your gate - DFW Artisan Market is a fairly decent contender. read more

My fiancé and I ate here during a layover to Cabo from DC. It is located in Terminal D which is a large modern international terminal. Unfortunately the barbecue place my fiancé remembers must have closed and we didn't have a ton of time (despite opting for a 2 hour layover) so I grabbed a table from the socially distanced food court and my fiancé ordered from here. My fiancé was hungry and ordered a Mediterranean Falafel Sandwich, Caprese Panini, Tomato Basil Soup, Pumpkin Spiced Latte, regular Latte, and a bottle of water. The food came out pretty fast but the lattes were a bit behind schedule. The highlight was actually the Tomato Basil Soup which we'd rate 5 stars. The next best item was the Mediterranean Falafel sandwich which would be 4 stars. The Caprese Panini was just okay so 3 stars. The lattes each of which were 7.50 were very disappointing, so 2 stars. The barista must have been inexperienced and it's not surprising given staff shortages especially on Christmas Eve. However for Addison Coffee Roasters, which is 5 stars on Yelp, they may want to pull their supplies if they can't make coffee their quality. In fact we had a latte that was a third the cost in the expensiveness of DC at their airport with Sysco coffee which we only found out asking when impressed. Notice, I'm a pretty generous reviewer so I'd only give one star if inedible or undrinkable which it was not quite to that point. Next time we'll try another place at this Terminal, perhaps one of the Asian places that looked appealing when I looked online. While 2 out of 3 food items being good ain't bad, the coffee was too disappointing. Also, the prices are high at 67 bucks for everything when we got good quality food for less plus two local beers from Dickie's BBQ in Terminal C for less than this. read more

Visited in November 2022 and had the falafel sandwich. Pita wrap was very good, fresh and soft, and the tzatziki sauce was good, too. Comes with a spring greens salad which was very fresh. There is an employee who was making the sandwiches and salads on February 18 around 5 p.m. who could not have been more rude. She was snapping at all the customers--she slammed two boxes on the counter at the same time and you could tell the woman was physically afraid to ask her which order was which. I chose this place after searching a lot of restaurants close to gate D6. I really wanted a nice sit down place, but became disheartened after seeing a lot of three star reviews on Yelp. This place seemed to be as good as any other. Their breakfast menu is not expansive, and includes six or seven options. I chose the breakfast burrito - a safe bet for breakfast anywhere. That, combined with a Dasani 20 oz bottle of water, will run you $13.48. A tad pricey for breakfast, especially for a breakfast burrito and water, but that's what comes with airport food. Upon receiving my burrito, I was again disheartened by what seemed to be a small serving. However, I quickly cautioned myself that my eyes are often bigger than my stomach, and to take my sentiment with a grain of salt. It turns out that the burrito was more than enough of a serving, and I ended up almost not being able to finish it. A flour tortilla filled with your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage (I chose ham), scrambled eggs, and melted cheddar cheese - it's nothing exotic. I will admit I'm not usually one for any kind of pork meat, but it wasn't bad. The service was so-so - not bad, but not good. The cashier was at least cordial. The clerk who delivered the finished product was careless. The worst caprese sandwich in the history of caprese sandwiches. The bread was way undercooked and the sandwich only gets worse from there. The mozzarella is flavorless, the tomato and basil taste weird, and the balsamic glaze is way too sweet. I haven't eaten the unripe banana that came with my sandwich, but I assume it tastes better than the rotten oranges that were my other option. The price is good and the girl who rang me up, Julia, was very courteous and professional. I should have gotten the falafel wrap. UPDATE- the unripe banana was way worse than expected.
