I'm not sure how or why I've never been here, but I have been missing out. They have everything! I couldve spent hours in there looking at all food options. I've been seeing tons of videos about how great their Chicken Caesar wrap is, so I finally went to check it out. Guess what? They were out of Caeser dressing. That's my luck. My fallback plan was to go with the Spicy Italian on the Striatta bone bread and it didn't disappoint. I went with the Large sandwich and it wad a monstrosity! I added their roasted jalepeno spread on one side and ancho chili mayo on the other to give it an extra kick. This sandwich lasted 2 meals! I picked up a small container of the chicken salad, and I wasn't impressed. It lacked flavor. Now, something that did have great flavor...Carrot Cake! There were so many desserts i wanted to try, but I didn't give into the fat kid inside me. The icing on the carrot cake was light and didn't over power the cake. Although this place is on the pricey side, the quality of food is top notch. Ill be back to hopefully get the Chicken Caesar wrap and that big ole Cinnamon roll! read more

So this is the second location for this business that I have visited and it is just as nice as the one in Uptown. The food is fresh- I can grab a good coffee to go plus breakfast on my way across town to a meeting. I found this location because my colleague makes this a regular stop. We were on our way to a meeting and I said something about coffee. When he pulled in here I was sure they were open so early. I was surprised again by how smooth the coffee was since I drink mi e black. You have to try this place for breakfast- they have a full on grill towards the back left side. read more

This place has been all over my feed thanks to Blondes Who Eat, and let me tell you, I had to see what the fuss was about. The hype? Pretty justified. But listen, rookies, there's a system here, and if you don't know it, you'll be standing around like a lost tourist at a deli counter. First, it's one set price for your sandwich, and I love that, very democratic. No nickel-and-diming for toppings unless you go big on size (the regular sammy is $9.99). We went with ham, turkey, and cheese on their famous bone bread (yes, I too was intrigued), with the pesto and sun-dried tomato spreads. But here's where it gets interesting--you have to take your own sandwich across the store to get it toasted. Once it's nice and warm, you return it to the very friendly sandwich guy to get your cold toppings. Now, I almost asked if I could add some of that crispy, thick-cut bacon from the hot side of the kitchen (because, obviously, bacon makes everything better), but as a first-timer, I didn't want to overstep my sandwich privileges. Pro tip: A small is huge, so plan on splitting it or bringing reinforcements. Also, the surprise MVP of the visit? The bakery English muffins, get a 4 pack to go!. If you know, you know...Oprah literally flies in her English muffins from Model Bakery in Napa, and these were so close to that legendary level. I've been to several locations, in Fort Worth, Dallas, and this one--each pretty similar. The fresh pasta is consistently good, with the sun-dried pasta salad being my fav. However, the salmon, empanadas, and quesadilla were disappointing. The quesadilla was overly oily and just lacking flavor. Usually, I grab the packaged sushi for convenience, and after this experience, I'd probably stick with it. Great for fresh pasta, but other items can be hit-or-miss. p.s. I've been shopping at the Eatzi's locations since the 1990's, starting in Dallas, and always had such a good experience. But today at the Eatzi's in Grapevine, the whole experience was ruined by a very rude lady working behind the take-out counter in the center of the store. I had a couple of questions about salmon salad, and she literally shrieked at me "I don't make the salads!!!! I don't make the salads!!!" So for customer service at that counter, I give them a zero. First time in my life I every left an Eatzi's feeling mad, hurt or upset. Also first time in my life I ever left at Eatzi's without spending over $100. After being yelled at by the worker, I didn't want to spend any more money there. Probably won't go back to that location, although it will be further to drive to Dallas. read more

The options are abundant but the prices are on the high end compared to larger grocery stores. I hadn't ever thought of Eatzi's as a breakfast place, but we came there over the weekend and it was great. They have a separate menu for the grill and their breads and pastries make for a good breakfast treat. Also, when you go in the morning, there is hardly anyone there and you can take your time browsing without feeling rushed or crowded. Parking was easy right outside in their huge lot. After ordering some grills items, they were ready quickly and we paid out by the cafe, wehre the seating is as there were so few people, they didn't have anyone working the regular register. My egg, ham and cheese sandwich was good on their three cheese bread. I also had some kolaches with breakfast links as the center and they were good. The staff was super friendly and this location has some limited indoor seating at the bar counter and some covered outdoor seating at regular tables. read more

It always surprises me when I ask someone if they've been to Eatzi's and their response is "no". I mean what are you doing with your life?? I'm a regular, especially for breakfast. Eatzi's has the best cheesy eggs, they are so fluffy and light with the perfect amount of cheese, I can seriously eat their eggs every day. If you are a fan of oatmeal, you have to try the oatmeal from Eatzi's. The oatmeal is a bowl of warmth and happiness topped with house made granola, fresh berries, brown sugar, and this buttery cream! Mmmmmm it's the best oatmeal you'll have. The waffles are made fresh to order and are always light on the inside and slightly toasty on the outside. They're not dense and heavy. They're airy and perfect, the waffles here never disappoint! Their breakfast burritos are very tasty and leave me wanting more! I love their pasta bar, salad bar, and sandwich bar. You can be as creative or conservative as you'd like with the bars. I feel like they have a nice amount of toppings that should appeal to all tastes. If you love fresh food and butter, you have to stop by! I forgot to mention that the sweets here also hit the spot! Always great choices here from amazing chefs. I got a lightly fried butterfly chicken breast. It had a really delicious crispy coating on it. I also got a pesto salmon fish. I really wanted to get a brisket dinner but I mostly spent in the deli. I got some other items, vegetables I think. They had beautiful deserts but I refrained and most got healthy choices! This wasn't a minor mistake -- it was a serious health concern. Giving me store credit to come back and try again doesn't reflect how serious this situation really was. It reflects how little they value the people who trust them with their health. I'm sharing this not for pity or perks, but because people deserve to know what kind of accountability (or lack thereof) happens when things go wrong behind the scenes. We ordered Eatzi's today for lunch ar work. I have been in there to grab a salad or something quick and it's been good. Someone suggested I get something hot. I got the fried fish with broccoli and Mac n Cheese. The mac and cheese was bland and runny. The broccoli was overcooked, fish was okay, although I didn't get my cocktail sauce. It always makes me so happy to interact with the friendly staff while finding some great tasting snacks, a quick lunch bite, or items for dinner that night. All the ingredients are off great quality and are fresh. I only tried the build your own salad, but I was really impressed. It was among one of my favorite salads I've had. They have a variety of protein from salmon, grilled, egg (whole egg or just egg whites), bacon etc. My colleague ordered a sandwich, what a wife range of selection for breads. She was highly impressed by the taste and quality. She also recommended their amazing cookies! Service is great at each station. My brother from out of state blessed me with a gift card at Christmas, so it was more than I expected and I heard good things about this place . My recommendation is the Chicken Curry pasta salad , salmon is very good ( pricey) , Chili, turkey meatloaf is so good, tabbouli is awesome yet they never have enough Tabbouli to be honest, as I usually clean the last of it or close to it . They sell that Tabbouli before the day is up almost each time I have been in. Food , Service is great . The sweets like 20.00 for 4 small pieces of chocolate, had to pass on it. My colleagues and I stopped here for lunch one day while in Dallas for a week. Eatzi was recommended to me by another colleague who went here while she was also here for work. She really raved about this place so I was really hyped up. She also told me their Italian wedding cake is to die for! So my colleagues and I came for lunch and two of us got their half chicken and 2 sides and another colleague got their lasagna that he heated up with the microwave provided. Our verdict was that, food was okay. My rotisserie chicken was really salty and though it looked really good, it didn't taste good. The meat of the chicken didn't taste fresh, the meat was really mush as you chew, an indication it was frozen and defrost and frozen again.. or something, just not fresh chicken! I'm picky with my meat. Honestly their veggies sides were so much better because at least the veggies were fresh. My other colleague said the lasagna was just alright. We didn't get dessert because we had to go back to training. All of their food looked really good though, that I have to say. Maybe we just did not get the right thing. I did love the fact that it is a very cute Italian deli with so so so many things to choose from! Maybe that was it, there were just too many things that not one thing is the best lol. read more

The other not overly expensive restaurant in that terminal and it's not a full grab and go place. If you order the sandwich they will make it in front of you but the salad is pre made and they grab it from the back. The price for the food is better than another restaurant in the same area. Eatzi's has always been a great place for lunch or dinner. However, because of Covid, I haven't been here since the outbreak. That all changed the other day when my wife wanted some sushi. I'll say the sushi here is pretty awesome and can easily stand against a traditional sushi restaurant. The reason why I'm really writing is about their sandwiches. I never had one here before and I was upfront about it with the sandwich maker. I asked what the most popular sandwich here was and he said, "Italian ". Hence why I ordered it. I also asked him to make it how he would make it for himself. Which I'm totally glad I did. Because the sandwich I ate as you can see is quite amazing! Hands down Eatzi's is now one of my top two shops for sandwiches now. The sandwich was made just right and was packed with Italian goodness. My only complaint was that they didn't have banana peppers. Besides that I was able to make two meals out of this monster, and they were both fantastic!
