Prior inspection revealed the need for pre-Hung doors for the best fit. So very happy we made that change. I now have the most beautiful exterior doors x 3. Solid door and fit. Huge improvement over what the home came with. Big shout out to the installers. They made all the difference. Really nice guys that obviously take pride in their work! Thank you Artistic Doors. Let me start by saying Jerry took 50 per cent of my deposit never delivered KEPT my $$$ told me the product would be finished with in 6-8 weeks 9 months later no proof that the product was done. Nathan and his associate came ready to work. What had taken weeks and several contractors and installers to figure out how to secure loose beams was fixed within an hour. The crew was timely, professional and courteous. I appreciate the fact that they took care not to damage or leave fingerprints on my walls. They have done work on our two wooden front exterior doors a few times. Last time they fixed our locks, replaced the entire mechanism. The workman was on time, professional and did it for a reasonable fee. Very satisfied with their work and professionalism! I highly recommend them! read more

Beware - ASK the question of doors on display, which is "outside" & inside. A layperson would not know this & when you are ordering the display door, which could easily be mislead & reversed. Make sure you get what you think you've ordered...this includes the door hardware - Jennifer's answer, sorry I ordered the wrong one, which creates EXTRA work & expense for the customer. Jennifer does NOT make her error "right" for the customer. Given the errors caused by her lack of detail, I would go to another door company for a front entry door & a company that would stand behind their work. Tim from California Windows And Doors wanted to charge me to repair something he told me would last forever so I went to Artistic Doors. They were great. They had to figure it all out how to get them open because they were so frozen but they did a great job and were courteous, prompt and professional. read more

Such a contrary experience with services in Palm Springs. I ordered a custom made door for the front entrance of my new home. Waiting many weeks for the door to be made, we were eager to have it installed before our housewarming party on April 25th. We were given the names of two door hangers by the maker of our door. One said he would look at his calendar, but simply never returned our call. The other did come to our house and looked at our doorway, measured, and gave us a price. When we were notified that the door was ready for installation, and the hardware had also arrived, we contacted the guy who gave us a quote, but our calls and e-mails went unreturned. Because of that, we found a third door hanger, who could not seem to show up when he said he would. Frustrated and somewhat amazed, I called Artistic Doors on a Wednesday. After months of "maybe", "hopefully", "sorry", "we will try", etc. Artistic Doors had our new door installed on Friday, TWO days after my first phone call and in time for our party, two days later. The work was fantastic and we are thrilled to have found a business that knows how to interact with the public, values honesty and timeliness, and also knows quality craftsmanship. read more

Artistic Doors is close to my husband's office, so I went over introduced myself and asked if they would be interested in doing a project at my house which is literally 3 minutes away. They said yes. I lost the card, my bad and so went back and met Jerry and Jennifer. Again they said they were interested in the project. Made an appointment for Jerry to come over a few days later. Stayed home and he never showed. I called about an hour later after appointed time, left a message. No call back, no apology. Called again the next day and the next day. I wasn't looking for a fancy new front door. I was looking to repair the door frame between the house and garage that was chopped up by burglars. The website looked too ornate and expensive for what I needed, but buried in the text was a reference to door repairs. So, I called and Bill came out for an estimate of the job. Towing his work trailer behind his truck, he had what he needed to complete the job in one visit. It was expensive, but I got my money's worth: The door frame is more solid than ever, there's now a security plate for the lock, and the door closes better than ever. I needed to have a wooden outdoor door repaired as the bottom of the door scraped the cement when opening/closing. Previous repair attempts by handymen proved unsuccessful and expensive. I then left a phone message for Bill Shondrick of Artistic Doors. He returned my call very quickly and offered to come by to evaluate the door when he was finished with his current client. An hour or so later Bill arrived and in short order suggested a remedy along with the projects cost. I agreed and true to his word he arrived the next day with all the necessary tools and material. After he finished with the door (works great!) I mentioned that we had other wood and non wood projects that needed attention - he took the time to review each project offering many ideas on what could be done.
