I'm so disappointed in how they just did my nails, and I'm about to go on a trip. I asked the lady to put a tip on my thumb so they were all the same size as the rest of my nails that I've been growing out for weeks. She kept trying to steer me away from that idea saying I didn't need the tip. So then continued to file my other nails to look like my thumb. Now all my nails are crooked, none of them look the same. I would NEVER EVER visit this establishment! PLEASE DON'T give this establishment any business! There's 1 star, ONLY because there's no option for zero. They don't deserve ANY! Pedicure chairs are placed so close together (stacked) and was placed in chair near wall with shelf unit, which decreases the space to move. Slipped off sandals to begin sitting in chair, technician didn't warn me to wait before putting feet in, thank goodness it was ice cold and not boiling hot. At the same time, she said "pick color" while handing me the nail color swatches. With a slight hesitation, because I didn't want that kind of nail color, and before I could respond, she states again "pick color", while moving toward me and shaking the nail color swatches!! Keep in mind I'm "trapped"! My response, "Back up now and don't you shake something at me." She didn't move, " you need to move, NOW, and let me out!" Unbelievably, she states, "What is your problem, pick your color." My response, "Move now and let me of here! You're not touching me and you should never treat a person in this way." If I could give zero stars I would. Worst nail experience ever. I came in and said I needed a new set of acrylics. I was told ten minute wait. That's fine. There was only one other person getting their nails done but 5 or 6 employees sitting around. Two people walk on for pedicures and are seen immediately. I'm guessing there is only one person working there that knew how to do acrylics. I guess I was wrong. In fact, no one there knew how to do acrylics because the girl that finally took me after 45 minutes did the worst job I've ever seen. I asked her several times to shorten my nails. She told me she knew what she was doing and she was the one that learned how to do nails. She also stopped doing my nails several times to make phone calls on speaker phone and to text. It was unbelievably unprofessional. She finished shaping a very ovally shape when I asked for natural looking, rounded, shorter nails. They were hideous. I finally asked again to please make them shorter. She then got really fought with me. Shortened all of my nails. They were still too long and the shape was terrible. Some were squared on one side and some were almond shaped. I told her I did not need them painted and I wanted to leave. She still made me pay even though I hated my nails and had to have them redone. When I got to my car I noticed she also put the acrylic over my skin and they looked disgusting. One nail technician in particular that skewed my entire view of this establishment is Diane. I asked for her full name but this is all the front desk manager chose to disclose. She was rude and rough when handling my nails. There is also major inconsistency with pricing. It seems as if they charge by their feelings of the day. I was very calm and looking for clarification and was met with scoffs and yelling. She also walked away when I was speaking to her. I was in complete shock. I would not use this salon again (located in the mall). My regular salon was closed and I needed my nails done for an event that day. My pedicure was fine but my manicure was very substandard. I have my nails done (French manicure) every 3 weeks (gel) so there was a pattern for the technician to follow. I asked her to do it just like it was. Instead, I got nails that were rounded off on one side and some were square on the other. My manicure looked crooked. It was not at all like what was on my nails when I went in. The white tips are thick and again not even. Very slanted. In addition, it has been less than a week and they are already chipping - not just in spots but big chunks. The counter my nails were done on was dirty -covered in dust and chunks of nail that were not mine. At the salon I usually go to, my gel manicures last at least 2 weeks and sometimes don't start really chipping until the 3rd week. In retrospect, I wish I had just put some color on my nails for the day and gotten my nails done when my salon opened back up the next day. Lesson learned. read more
