The staff in the greenhouse, in particular, were especially unwelcoming and would not even look up to say hello or ask if I needed assistance, even when I was standing just a few feet away. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this nursery to anyone. I would gladly drive twice the distance to visit another nursery in the future.

It was full of hair algae, large pockets of it and the water was murky. Gone were the huge goldfish and being able to see the bottom. Horsetail bamboo seems to be growing out of control. We walked over to the greenhouses and several were filled with blight consumed plants, rows and rows of them. Instead of closing the doors on them, they were wide open spreading the blight across the property. We went through the gift shop and the cashier never acknowledged us, he was sitting in the dark staring at his phone. We are totally disappointed in the loss of a landmark business. The owner seemed a bit annoyed and rushed whenever we met- not sure if we were a small job to him or if I would have been treated differently if my husband had been available for meetings too. He didn't seem happy that we questioned some of those spots after the job was done (perhaps this is not part of their normal process, but it has always been my experience with large-scale home renovations).
