My sister loves getting her nails done by Mimi, my mom loves to have her nails and waxing done by Christine, and I love to get my nails done by Su. Laura also works there and is so sweet and has done my daughters nails. Anyway! The customer service is more like family and the prices are amazing! All I asked for were blue nails with a smiley face as an accent nail and what I got was a smudged stamp-on dog face with the ears wiped off and a very lumpy top coat. I thought I would ask for a smiley face Bc it was a simple design that seemed doable for most but I was wrong and when I asked for a refund or a discount they only gave me 5 dollars back out of the 40$ I spent. I have booked an appointment elsewhere to get my nails fixed. I will not be a future customer of theirs anytime soon. read more

Walked in was supposed to have an appointment to get a pedicure and eyebrows waxed and was automatically stereotyped for being a guy they turned me away and told me they had no appointment then bye... My mom called at 9am to schedule an appointment for 1:30 pm. Two pedicures, and a manicure for me. We get our pedicures done and they then decide they don't have time for my manicure, and tell us to come back because they have another appointment after us! So ridiculous, why schedule out for a customer if you're going to send them away without everything they wanted?? I won't go here again. Walked in at 5:30pm with my sister. They close at 7pm. There were 4 customers in progress. With 5 people working. Asked for a mani/pedi and they said they didn't have time. It takes about 30min to do a mani pedi everywhere I go in town. So either they were understaffed or didn't really care about getting new business. Either way I was unimpressed. I understand they want to leave on time (so do I at my job) but I've never had my business turned down an hour and a half before a place closes. It was a cute salon, kind of smaller than most. I arrived just after 9 on a Tuesday and had no problem getting a walk in appointment. Clean and modern decor and comfortable seating. Before I was done there were 4 other customers and business was humming. I think making an appointment might be the way to go. The cost for a gel manicure and no decorations was 31$. This is a bit higher than other local spots, but the service was good, and they have higher end polish like OPI. I'll be back to check out the pedicures. read more

For a nail salon that advertises the pedicures come with massage they did none when I asked if I could pay for a 10$ min leg massage mind you I was even willing to pay extra for this leg massage that was already advertised to be included with this pedicure . I have been coming here for years due to the close proximity to my house. One would think by this time they would say "hello" to me and be more friendly. Laura is the only staff member who is pleasant. The rest are incredibly rude. That being said, I suck up being treated like crap because of Laura. 1st time ever coming here for a gel color change & I gotta say that I am not disappointed! They are fast & efficient -- got me in & out of there within 30min & they didn't charge as much as the other places I usually go to. My new nail color is beyond perfect & the nail tech working on me filed my nails perfectly & didn't make them crooked, like the last place I went to. I started coming here about six months ago and have been coming here every other week since, i get my gel manicures and my oedicures here, and the prices are reasonable and the quality good. I can usually get a spot if I call ahead the morning of, but it can be hard to get in as a walk-in because they are becoming quite popular. UPDATE it's been over 2 years since I started coming here. I've tried a couple other places in town, but my gel nails always seem to peel off a lot faster than when I get them done here. So I get them done here, whenever I can. read more

I have been searching for a nail salon to call home near my office and I just found it! This was my first time coming here for a gel mani and to say I needed one is an understatement. From the second I walked in everyone was friendly and professional, the place was nice and clean. I was paired up with Christine who is stuck with me now. She did an amazing job! Seriously, best mani EVER. She was quick, efficient, yet so thorough. My nails are gorgeous. I will definitely be making an appointment with her for the much needed pedi next week! I have been going to Artist's Nails for 1-1/2 years. They are truly "artist's" as the name implies. The staff is professional and friendly, no matter who does my nail's. They are always willing to accommodate my schedule. The ventilation in the salon is great, and doesn't have the heavy smell of chemicals, like other places I've been. Therefore, I don't leave with a headache. Their prices are reasonable. They also have great massage chairs for pedicure's, and offer waxing as well. Great services. The place is simple, clean and hygienic, and the staff is very friendly. It's one of the best mani/pedis I've ever received and I frequent nail salons. They welcome walk-ins. I called and was able to get an appointment in 30 minutes for a mani/pedi combo with gel. They have the nice pedicure massage chairs and hundreds of polish to choose from, including six different brands of gel polish. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town. They do a very good job when it comes to doing nails. Their customer service could be improved. There us tension in the air that leaves me feeling uncomfortable. Last week I showed up for my scheduled appointment. They had written it do e wrong and claimed I was a "no show". When I walked in the salon, the loudly announced so the entire salon could hear that I missed my appointment and they could not accommodate me. Very embarrassing. All of the pictures of the nail art I've seen are very impressive and what made me want to try this place out. Unfortunately my pedicure was about 25 minutes long and very disappointing. I recently moved to this side of town and was looking for a nail salon that was close to my new home. A neighbor recommended Artist's Nails so I gave it a try today. (I had tried to do a walk-in yesterday, but they didn't have time then although they suggested I come back later in the morning, but I wasn't available then) The shop is clean, the tools are sterilized and individually packaged, which VERY important to me. The owner of the shop did my nails, he was efficient and worked at a good pace. I was done in 45 minutes and my nails look great! I had a fill and got gel polish and it was $26.
