This has been my favorite mani/pedi spot since 2006 and for good reason! The prices are great ($18 for a pedicure) and the service is fantastic! My pedicure is relaxing and perfect every single time. They have a wide assortment of colors and the most relaxing massage chairs. The tools always come out of individual sterilized packs so I never worry. They also do gel, acrylics, and awesome designs for great prices. My mom loves coming when she is in town. She pays $80 for her nails back home and says they do a better job here for a fraction of the price! High praise! I also get my eyebrows waxed here. No matter who does them, they are perfect every time. They shape them exactly how I want them and make sure they compliment my face. It has also been majorly the same staff since I started coming back in 2006. They are all really friendly and super professional. They also own a spa on 4th street with the same name and quality. I have been going for years and this is truly been my definition of insanity and expecting something different. From a technician continuing to interrupt my pedicure to answer personal calls to a terrible manicure that I did complain about, the owner told me to come back in a week and he would fix for free but denied he said that when I went back so I paid. On Saturday I went in for a pedicure. They set me up at a station, who I think is the owner, same guy who promised he'd fix my manicure at no charge, told me he'd be back in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later I'm still sitting there, people are coming in getting their services immediately. I asked if anyone was coming to me. This jerk comes back with an attitude saying he told me 2 minutes. It was literally 15. My thing is, I get if you are taking a break but then get the next free tech to take me. The pedicure sucked, he is a complete jerk and I'm just wondering what took me so long to figure out they don't appreciate my business. Bye forever. read more

I have decided not to come here anymore! I showed up for a regular appointment, only to find that my nail guy didn't write down the appointment when I made it. I had to wait 45 minutes for just a fill (or what they call this in NM...a rebase). I was so upset I had to wait. While I appreciate the business as being very busy, that's no excuse for not writing down an appointment. I came to Albuquerque specifically to get my nails done from Edgewood (1/2 hour away)! This is my go-to spot for affordable and fun mani-pedis. Pedicures are just $19 and manicures are $15! What a bargain. I love coming here with a friend to relax and chat while we get our nails done. For pedicures, you can sit in the spa chairs that massage your back while you get a bubbly, hot foot bath. (I LOVED this foot bath while pregnant!) My feet are always soft, clean and pretty when I leave this shop. The staff are friendly, and this place has a no-nonsense, no-frills atmosphere, which I appreciate. The staff can be pretty hands-off, which could be a negative if you're in a hurry, but I like that they leave me be for a 20 minute foot bath while I'm chatting with a friend. As is probably true with most places, the pedicures last forever, but the manicures only last about a week. read more

Note they have moved to the south side of menaul east of san Mateo - just around the corner really. Went for a pedi with a male friend and it was a great experience. Everything was clean and sanitary and the place looked nice and new. We sat in awesome massage chairs while soaking our feet and then got good foot massages. They had everything needed to take on my buddy's very calloused and kinda gnarly feet, but were still gentler on mine. He wasn't too interested in nail polish but mine looks great. And everyone there was all very friendly. Definitely found my new nail place. read more

Went in for a mani/pedi for my birthday about 2 weeks ago. The service was not rude, but not great service either. Mediocre. The lady doing my pedicure was too rough. The "massage" on my feet and calves was actually painful. The mani was ok. When I got home I noticed a lot of dead skin around my nails and toe nails that were not removed. Made me feel like "I could have painted my nails and toe nails at home for free". Don't think I'll be returning. read more

Worst service ever! The girl RAMMED the cuticle pusher into my fingers and didn't even soak my nails first. She brought over a bowl of plain water that was cold. Was totally rude to me, but very nice before I asked to pay first and she saw that I left her a 15% tip. She flipped on one tiny fan for me to dry both hands and there was another on the other end. read more
