    Cappuccino
    Kate A.

I decided to try the cappuccino made by the robot. And I liked it! Before Artly I've seen the coffee robots only in the YouTube videos or online news feeds. It was cool experience even to see it. I ordered 10oz cappuccino for $4.5 + tax. On the display you immediately see how long you need to wait for your coffee. For me it was 3 minutes. The coffee island is designed well as everything is covered from the dust and people don't need to touch anything except the touch screen to make the order and grab their cup of coffee from the counter. I know that the robots don't have feelings but my coffee was good. It's not the specialty coffee with a rich aftertaste but it was really good decent cappuccino. It's worth the experience.

Got their latte and the machine was a decent pace. I'd say you're paying for the consistency. I would have liked my lattte hotter but not extra hot like the app suggests. Also, I wish they would have a non fat milk option. The espresso is mild and doesn't have a bitter aftertaste. I also wish there was an option to add whipped cream.

Artly is located inside the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore. The operation is mostly automated, there is someone there to reload the robots and handle some of the other tasks. You order at a ipad-like interface or you could order via your phone. When you order, the system has a screen projecting how long it'll take for peoples' orders to complete, plus projects areas on the counter where your order will finish. Automated robo-arms and machines made shots of espresso, frothed milk and made different cold and hot drinks for us. This is one of the main coffee places in the Premium Outlets since the Starbucks recently closed, I'm not sure why because when I've been there they always seemed busy. The drinks my wife and I ordred seemed pretty good, and it seemed to work fine. Props to the person who was staffing the Artly. I have to admit, I'm usually skeptical about all this automation, there's a lot of human touch in cooking/beverage crafting, but this was a decent first experience. I ordered these drinks while my wife is line to get into one of the stores and by the time I got there it was ready, there were several times where I had a decent wait at the previous Starbucks.

Pretty cool concept, You place your order on an iPad before your drinks start.. I Had the barista bot Amanda making the 2 drinks I Ordered. I got a Iced Vanilla Latte & a Iced Matcha latte, both were good, the vanilla latte wasn't too sweet, but the matcha latte was on the sweeter side & had a mostly milky flavor with a hint of matcha.. for the 12oz size it seems a bit pricey. Around $6 per drink. I believe the employee's name was Danny that was helping me out and answering all my questions, he was super knowledgeable and nice! He did advise to mix my drinks up with the straw stirrers they had.

Tea time with friends. The place is packed but still quick service by the robot . The staff are there for support if needed. You gotta try it out

First time seeing something like this so my fiancé and i definitely had to try. We went out here for the outlets and as we strolled saw a small crowd of people waiting for their coffees at 7pm. There's an ordered kiosk. All the drinks are made by 2 robot arms. There is one person that attends to these robots and he also makes some of the drinks like the teas I believe. Someone who was waiting before us got their drink swiped by someone else but those robots can't do anything about that. The wait for the drinks are kinda long - about 15 mins for a latte and an iced latte which are generally simple drinks. Once we got our drinks though we enjoyed them. My hot oat latte was good but for some reason the iced oat latte tasted even better! The iced oat latte tasted nice and roasty which was my hot latte was missing but still enjoyed it nonetheless. The attendant there is super friendly and nice. He was helpful and after someone got there drink swiped he was making sure each drink went to the right person. I think the concept is pretty cool but I still like having human baristas. Would come back and get iced oat latte next time we're around the area.

I find it super innovative that a robot can make a cup of coffee. On top of that, the coffee wasn't particularly bad either. The foam on top was light and the coffee wasn't too bitter. Latte art was also very nice. We tried the Honey Rose Latte and it was not bad. Cool new business idea and something new if you want to try.

The drink made by the robot was ok. You can order through the kiosk. You couldn't customize if you wanted less ice or no ice on the drink. Also drinks came in 1 size. It was also very expensive $15 and some change for 2 small drinks. It was cool watching the robot make the drink but very expensive for 2 small drinks.

BARISTA BOT! The fact that you can get your coffee made by a robot is pretty cool. The concept is unique and the process is very simple. The robot, Jarvis, even confirms your name and order and announces it once you've paid. There's two barista bots and each have a counter where your name is project, along with the drink you ordered. There's also a loading bar to show the time to make your drink. A pretty good standard coffee, considering the fact that it's made by a robot. *Vanilla Latte (7/10)

I was so amazed that the robot started making my drink the moment I paid for my order. I've never seen anything like it. It was definitely a marvel and I can see the use of robots expanding. They had very interesting flavors but I'll have to give this 4 stars since I was unable to change the amount of ice in my drink. While the drink is customizable, they do not allow us to change the ice level. My drink was perfectly made but there was just too much ice.

Coffee is great! I honestly did not know what to expect. I think it's fascinating how the machine is making the drink. I got my drink less than 10 minuetes.

My name! Has a little menu screen too. Very cute.

Was kind of surprised that I stumbled upon this while shopping at the Livermore outlets today. The robot literally does everything to make the coffee! Really neat design. The coffee itself was pretty solid. Got a golden latte and the temperature of the coffee was just right so you can drink it almost immediately after getting it. Totally recommend it! Give it a try if you're in the outlets! Don't let the negative ratings scare you from trying something new .

I ordered a 16 oz (large) coffee, but was served a 12 oz. When it was brought to our table, I politely asked about the size since it looked smaller than what I usually get. The barista told me it was 12 oz and mentioned it might just be a different cup, then walked away without really addressing the concern. I checked my receipt and confirmed I was charged for a 16 oz. I went back to the counter and explained that I simply wanted the correct size. Initially, I was told I would need to pay more, which was frustrating. After explaining again, she finally offered to remake it. For clarity, the drink hadn't been touched at all--I returned it exactly as it was. I really like this place and will continue to support it, but I hope the team can improve on order accuracy and customer service, especially when concerns are raised politely. A little more attentiveness and willingness to resolve issues would go a long way.

I was able to set up my computer and one of the side rooms and get some work done. This place seems to be a very popular place for studying and doing some work. Just a great place in a great area. They have a large lot and there's also plenty of street parking in the area, especially during the day.

When that happens, I have to give them kudos because at some places, the changes are so subtle they're almost meaningless. The drinks were OK, and they did the job on a a cold and rainy morning. As for the pastries, they were just OK. I've had better at other bakeries (and other branches of this same company), and with the plethora of options around for baked goods, you can find better. With that being said, it may just have been the couple of choices we had for food. The ube filled baked good was not very good, but I say that as an ube fiend. I have ube a lot, including back in the motherland. It was more like taro than ube, when it came to taste. As for the quantity, there wasn't a lot of it either. The actually bread part was soft and nice, and it was pretty. The egg tarts weren't the best. They left something to be desired. I would suggest getting something else. Maybe we made the wrong choices this time at 85, because I've definitely had better baked goods at their other locations.
