    Iced cherry Matcha
    Amruta D.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A very cool cafe with amazing vibe with interesting quick breakfast options.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff is very welcoming. I was excited to see flavors in croissants. everything croissants, has seasoning of everything bagel and some cream cheese inside. I loved the combo. Ham and cheese croissants was so yummy that my daughter finches it in a minute. Almond croissant was on sweeter side and outer layer is crunch and not heavily filled which we loved. Regular coffee is good , has nutty fruity aftertaste. My daughter had iced cherry matcha which she totally recommended :)

My goto coffee spot in Livermore but it can take some time to get your order. Usually I either get a latte or iced sweet latte. Starting to buy my beans there too for day to day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A bit loud inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Small parking lot that can be a bit inconvenient to get out of so I usually either street park or go to the parking structure nearby. Excited for their second location in Blacksmith's Square

ok - was in the area again dropping my girly pop off at doggy camp and so i had to stop in again to grab my energy before errands and work. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking lot was already full to my surprise as I didn't expect this place to be poppin at 8:30-9am but pretty steady flow.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ooh and there was this hottie cop on there today and I hope he sees this lol!! Ok so reason for my updated review is to say that getting here early, you get a wider variety of pastries. And the waffle y'all! They made it fresh to order and it is goooodt and warm and yummy and perfect with a cold brew. Nice handheld lap snack while driving to my next destination. They sell hoodies too. The camo hoodie seems the be a hit. Might just get one next time. $60

This review is very late but I enjoyed my visit to story coffee. It was out of the way for me but I kept hearing good things so I decided to do the 30 min drive. When I was ordering their machine stopped working and they could not get it back up. Of course I waited patiently and they were so kind to comp my coffee for me. Customer service was great and they recommended a pastry that I really enjoyed. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area.

Whiskey latte was better than I thought; not too strong. Lavender matcha was ordered half sweet and it was perfect! I would definitely come back. I wanted to buy some of their whole beans but a bag was $24; no thank you.

Cafe Mocha at Story Coffee in Livermore is the best especially if you add extra mocha. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

I always get Cafe Mocha at Story Coffee in Livermore. This time I added extra mocha and of course it did not disappoint me, it's perfect!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service is good and the ambiance is nice too!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Stop by at Story Coffee when you're in Livermore, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Clean interior and friendly service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No complaints :) Tried their eggnog drink back in Dec and it leaned towards the sweeter side but overall very good. Love their espresso & tonic as well! Get the almond croissant if you want a small lil treat. Definitely would recommend.

I've heard so much about Story Coffee and was finally able to check it out for myself. I dropped off my truck at Les Schwab in Livermore for a tire rotation and they told me they needed two and half hours. Okay, no worries. I decided I'll go to the movies to "The Bride". I walked one and a half miles to downtown Livermore in flip flops and still had 45 minutes before the movie started. I remembered Story Coffee is nearby so I walked over to the coffee shop and boy was I in for a treat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is off the hook and they have waffles just like being in Europe again.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I paired my waffle with a cappuccino and both were amazing! What a great day it was to give my truck some TLC, get some steps in, have a great cup of cappuccino and waffle, and a watch a great movie.

Great coffee. Nice environment. No wonder the place was popping. The vegan pumpkin cake was pretty awesome too.

I got the Sweet Iced Latte, and it was so delicious. It had the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I highly recommend coming here it's such a cute little coffee shop with more than enough space inside to study.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's quiet, the baristas are very nice, and the overall atmosphere is really cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely recommend checking it out.

The best coffee in the Pleasanton Livermore area. Always busy, good service and latte art - I appreciate the effort! They have a good selection of baked goods as well. Highly recommend.

Great place! Cute cups! Friendly workers! The matcha is super green - we tried the original and lavender. I wish this place was closer because I'd love to try all of the flavors. I had previously tried the sweet latte before, but hope to try the whiskey latte as well. Since that is a unique flavor they make in house last time we got to almond croissants, which were very fresh and tasty as well. Be sure to come in early as they sell out of their pastries.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. He was such a nice guy with big plans for the food! Into the food itself - The tuna mayo onigiri was STUFFED. There was so much flavor in every bite. I was a little cranky you have to order in twos but afterwards that first bite, I'm glad I had a whole one to myself! We got the Portuguese sausage with musubi and chili oil. The chili oil had a lot of heat and flavor to it! I don't recommend the chili oil if you're picturing a light spice because it packs a punch. But if you like the fire, highly recommend! My partners favorite was the classic teriyaki spam with unagi and avocado. I really enjoyed the portion sizing of each item - created a really perfect bite. The unagi had an extra smokiness to it. The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! I went on a random afternoon where it wasn't very busy so I was in and out in less than 5 minutes once I decided what I want. Very spacious and has a ridiculous amount of seating so I'd imagine even when they are busy, it's tolerable. The art on the wall is also *chefs kiss*. It was my first time here so I asked the staff for some support and he did a good job breaking things down for me. He didn't have much enthusiasm or seem excited by my business, which I typically love about smaller coffee shops, but that's really my only criticism. Food: I went here twice and every single time I get any of the shwarmas or meat pies, its cold. Not just a little bit, the entire inside and bottom is soggy cold. It tastes good, super light not heavy, but the coldness makes it unappetizing unfortunatly. Additionally, the biscoff cake was super dry for a milk cake, but the taste is still nice. The saffron and caramel cake are nice though, milky, sweet, pairs well with a hot drink. Drink: Dissapointing. Matcha, Chai, Latte, Smoothie, Refresher--I tried them all and was dissapointing. Matcha (latte, mango, and strawberry) tasted insanely water, same with the adani chai--which is something I look forward to at every cafe. I think increasing the milk content in the chai could really improve it. Coffee was also done poorly (iced and hot). Refresher was alright, super sweet but other than that it wasnt bad. The only thing that was the best was the smoothie. The mangorabian tastes like a chocolatey mango lassi, you can't go wrong with a smoothie. Room for improvement on everything. Overall: Very nice elegant cafe that is perfect for hangouts and doing work, the food needs to get warmed up longer to avoid coldness and all the drinks need to be improved to increase the quality of the taste. Looking forward to the change!
