So I recently had an oil change done here and felt compelled to leave a great review! I was in desperate need of an oil change--to the point where my check engine light had come on. I had originally gone to another nearby auto shop, but they were unable to service my vehicle because they were busy and I didn't have a reservation. I quickly searched Yelp for a nearby shop and came across this place. I called to let them know I was just around the corner, urgently needed an oil change, and had to get back to the office ASAP. They told me to come in and to my surprise attended to me fairly quickly. I was incredibly grateful because I knew they were busy and were doing me a HUGE FAVOR. Art was very kind, answered all of my questions, and performed a thorough check of the check engine light. Thankfully, the issue turned out to be caused by low oil. He also gave me helpful advice on how to better maintain my vehicle and stay on top of service appointments moving forward. Overall, my experience was honest, professional, and incredibly helpful. My advice to all customers: arrive when Art's opens and be open to making an appointment for the following day. This auto shop is always insanely busy because they are the most skilled, most reasonable, and most honest auto shop around. Juan and Mark, as always, took care of the problem my car was recently experiencing without charging an exorbitant price. My husband is the one who found them, and I've been taking my car to them ever since. I guarantee you will get better work and a better price than anywhere else. And if they can't do the work, they'll send you to another reliable and reasonable mechanic who can. One time my transmission was not shifting easily. Mark told me that, although they don't work on transmissions, he could refer me to a shop that did. The shop they sent me to could have lied to me and could have told me I needed a new transmission. Instead, they told me I just needed more transmission fluid, saving me thousands of dollars. Another time, I was skeptical of the service I had received from a different shop. I took my car to Juan who confirmed my suspicions: the other shop had not only NOT fixed the issue, but they also did not rotate my tires, as I had requested and as was one of the "perks" for purchasing tires from them. Juan showed me how to check for a tire rotation in the future and then rotated my tires without charging me, even though it wasn't his responsibility to do so. He could have told me to go back to the other shop, but he didn't I know nothing about cars, and as most women would agree, mechanics often try to take advantage, assuming that a woman won't know any better. Not this shop! They are the best around, and I will continue to go there for all my automotive needs. read more

I thought they were a good shop because of the minimal work I had done there. Turns out they both don't even return a phone call when they say they will (both father and son). They were not knowledgeable about my vehicle but instead of just saying that they gave me the run around and made up stuff that the actually car brand dealer and another professional company said they never heard of. It was very disappointing. Not very responsible and have limited knowledge but mostly lied to me more than once. Don't waste your time or $. 2 thumbs down!!! read more

My car had battery signal going on and off early morning before work. I had been here before for brakes and they did a great job then also . I dropped off my car and they checked it while I was at work long story short they called me to tell me it was the alternator !! When I went into the shop a few weeks later, they said they would do an inspection and give me a call with their recommendation. To my surprise when they called, my vehicle only needed rear brakes and the cost was half of the cost that they originally quoted me. When does that ever happen?!?!?! Changed the brakes to my 2017 Lexus here. Brakes were screeching after. Was told by this business that Lexus dealer sold me "bad parts." After returning to the dealer and even another auto shop, both advised that Art's auto incorrectly placed in my brakes. As well, rotors were not calibrated. Juan is a good and trustworthy dude. I've been having my car serviced here for over 5 years, and I've never been disappointed. I recently had some issues with my brakes and got a quote from a spot out in LA since I had been staying in the area. The quote seemed a bit high, so I called Juan to see what he thought. He agreed and estimated I would spend at least $300 less than what I was quoted if I got the service with them.
