If it's busy it's tight to get in with cars facing both directions depending on where they drove in. The price of gas here is usually less than the local gas stations. Little did we know that when we came here there was a large rock climbing gym next door called Pipeworks that is owned by Touchstone Brewing Company. The tomato sake bombs are a must!! They have an extensive beer menu, loved their suggestions. Bf had the chimichurri dog -- spicy link, pickled purple onions, and mayo -- and I went with the Chicago dog with mustard, relish, tomato, and dill pickle on a poppy seed bun. When we walked in I knew I was in the perfect spot-this bar has those low lights that all the bars in the 70s and 80s had-giving off a both romantic and mysterious vibe to it-I was in love with the place from that moment on. The music that day was awesome-I heard they have live music at times but at the time of my visit they did not-they were instead playing 90s and 2000s R&B and Hip Hop-it was wonderful-one banger after another-so yeah I was vibing. Our waitress couldn't have been cooler-she was as friendly as can be-suggesting drinks that were both on and off the menu-her and I were sharing tequila stories based on our shared affinity for the Fortaleza tequila they had in stock -which is super rare and it's how I judge every bar-whether or not they have Fortaleza tequila on hand and The Butterscotch Den had multiple bottles on hand. I guess they are opened most days from 4p-12am and until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. They do not have a dedicated parking lot for this bar but they are located near 34th and Broadway-so unlimited street parking is available for those who drive here.
