Wushiland Boba is my new favorite spot for boba in Sac! I found out about it from a recent Feed Mei Mei YouTube video, and of course I had to check it out asap. I looked up the origin and it turns out Wushiland is a spin off from the Taiwanese boba chain 50嵐 (if you speak mandarin, it says Wushi Lan). Located on Sutterville in a tiny strip mall with minimal parking right next to the Freeport area where there are plenty of good eats, some of which are my favorite places in Sac to eat at, Wushiland is in an optimal location. Bright, clean, and with a decent amount of seating, you have the option to order from kiosks or up front at the counter. The AC was blowing cold and a nice respite from the El Niño heat. The workers are friendly and drinks are made quickly. Be advised that the drinks are voluminous, especially if you're like me and ask for less ice. Coming from someone who considers Chicha San Chen their favorite Taiwanese tea chain (but alas we don't have it in Sac), the difference in quantity is huge. Obviously if you're looking for a refined style of tea chain, Wushiland doesn't compare, but still the taste of their teas shine through and there is a good variety for everyone's palate. The first time I tried their earl grey tea because I have been craving an earl grey for a while, and that was deliciously smooth. The mini boba were so fun to chew on, and I usually prefer them over the regular size. They provide a ton of boba here as well. The next time I had their yakult green tea and that was very refreshing indeed. Both times my husband went with fruit teas, and had nice remarks to say about both of his drinks. He also tried their new QQubes and their texture was very QQ (I had a sample). We will most certainly return to Wushiland, especially since it's so accessible. A popular and busy spot near the Sac City College campus with a small parking lot. Expect parking and seating to be rare during peak times. Even between school sessions there can be a lot of students here. No cash, card only, and you can order online or using the self serve kiosks instead if you like. Staff are friendly and quick. I got the ice cream green tea milk boba with mini pearls and 75% sweetness. Maybe it was just a bad day but I felt like my boba was a bit undercooked and clumpy. Also tried the brown sugar roasted oolong milk tea at 50% sweetness and with coconut jelly. The oolong flavor is nice and strong and the sweetness was perfect. Next time I'll try the early gray milk tea with the new qqube (mochi) topping. I just have to be feeling brave enough for the crowds here first. read more

Wushiland has some pretty good milk tea and fruit tea drinks. You can get brewed teas, yakult teas, brown sugar drinks, macchiatos and even ice cream drinks, which not a lot of other boba shops have. And you can get an extra shot of tea if you want your drank strong. Prices range from $5.25-$7. I've tried the roasted oolong milk tea and the grapefruit green tea and they've been on point. I usually get them both at 50% sweetness. Another thing they offer here that some other shops don't have are the mini boba balls. My friend ordered the uji matcha latte macchiato with the mini balls, and he wanted another one to-go! The shop is a tad small and cozy(ish) since the seats and tables are close together. The theme is very colors of a bee; black and yellow. There's a long bench with cushions so it's a good place to sip and chill, and people come here to study it seems. Ive been here a few times mainly on a Saturday and all 3x it's been busy. They have 2 kiosks you can order from, or you can order from a human. Wushiland choose a good area of Sac to post up shop because it's the currently the only boba drink shop (for now) near Hollywood Park/Land Park and very close to Sac City College. They're located in the corner of a strip mall type plaza. And parking isn't too bad. Overall, good drinks for a reasonable price and service is decent. They have a fun logo, too. Ordering is on your own at one of multiple touch screen ordering terminals, and the drinks come out relatively quickly. Drinks are consistent and I like that you can add on extra shots of tea, adjust the amount of toppings and pick between fresh milk or creamer, etc. It works so that almost anyone can customize a drink they enjoy so it's great for groups! You order at the kiosk and then wait with your ticket number. Its so clean it surprises me as many are not as well kept. Could be new. Unsure. Overall Great experience. Wow, i cant believe i am in elk grove for two years and i haven't tried this!!! I have tried my fair share of boba since it was introduced to hong kong in the mid 1990s from taiwan. I was severely disappointed when i moved to the US and only Quickly was available. Fast forward to 2026, this is one of my top 4 bobas in the US, alongside Omomo in so-cal, boba bliss in Dublin and Yifang in Elk Grove. Wushiland becomes one of my favorite. I happened to find out about this place while running errands in the plaza so decided to stop by to try it. This is in the very corner of the plaza. Inside has about 8-10 tables, so it isn't too big. There were a lot of college students hanging out and a few were there studying, so it's a great spot to go study and work. I ordered myself at the self service kiosk and my drink was ready in a few minutes. I got the orange Yakult drink, which is orange juice and yakult mixed together. I'm not sure if the orange juice is freshly squeezed, but there was orange pulp in my drink, which I didn't mind. So I'm thinking it is fresh OJ. I dunno... for a place that's raved about, my experience felt kind of mid. The employees greeted me politely when I dropped by on a Friday evening and the interior looks spotless. However, the drinks didn't impress me. I opted for the 4 Seasons Tea which tasted decent and light, but whatever taste it offered was heavily clouded by the absurd amount of boba at the bottom. The drink is approximately 40% tapioca/60% fruit tea. Within minutes, I was left with a large pile of pearls that had me thinking "that's it?" I've heard that Wushiland shines in milk tea so maybe I need to avoid the fruit teas next time. I am a fan of Wushiland. I actually hadn't heard of this Taiwanese milk tea chain before they opened a location in Sacramento near Land Park and Sac City College. I've only been here once, mainly due to location, but after trying their brown sugar milk tea and brown sugar green milk tea, I was impressed with the flavor of their drinks and want to try more. The brown sugar milk teas were spot on when it came to flavor. It was delicious and tasted exactly how a good brown sugar drink should taste. For toppings, I ordered a mix of regular boba and mini boba. The boba was nice and chewy. Tip - Wushiland Boba tends to add a lot of boba so if you don't want too much boba, select less toppings when ordering at the kiosk. I selected less toppings, but still had way more than I wanted. The store was nice and clean with a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. There were two kiosks to order from and the ordering process was pretty easy. I LOVE that they have an option for No Ice, which I chose, and guess what...the drink wasn't half way filled. It was still filled to the top. Huge bonus points for that. Picking up the drinks was simple...I received a text when my order was ready and they bagged up my drinks. The only negative part of this was that they included 2 skinny straws for my drinks, which had regular boba in it. While trying to drink my brown sugar milk tea with boba with a skinny straw, the boba would get completely stuck in the straw and no boba or liquid would go up. It was pretty inconvenient, especially since I discovered it in the car after driving away. Other than the wrong straw, my first experience at Wushiland Boba was pretty great. read more

I love checking out new cafes and the other day I came across Wushiland near Sac City College. The name is intriguing and it's a cute boba shop. The inside is small and they have very limited parking. Luckily a spot opened up right when I pulled into the lot. They have an ordering kiosk and it was easy to use. I tried their Jasmine milk tea. Service was very quick because it was literally ready within a minute. It might be premade. The drink came out to be around $6. Grapefruit Green Tea with Coconut Jelly - 4/5 Not my personal favorite since I'm not a grapefruit fan, but my sister enjoyed it. Love how they're so close to work for me so I can get my boba fix. A review has been long overdue since I have visited the store several times already. The staff are all super nice and I love how customizable the drinks are. The tea aroma as you walk in is very inviting to me. I normally don't get cheese foam but they were doing a BoGo so I gave it a try with a colleague. TLDR: Good Tea Flavor I didn't expect much coming to this place. I'm from the Bay Area, so I'm used to very "Chinese" tea places. However, I was very surprised at the tea flavor. I am excited about this new boba place, set in the same little shopping center as Chipotle, and located across the street from the south end of Sac City College. Not only is it easy to park but it has so many delicious options and a friendly vibe. Beyond the fact that it is aesthetically pleasing the staff went above and beyond to make me happy, the milk teas have all been top notch. I ordered my new favorite drink, which is Earl Gray milk tea with extra boba and I was happy to discover they actually gave me Extra boba. I came here Thursday 7pm and the vibes were so welcoming with tasty drinks and flexible options! I loved that we could try samples of toppings and different teas. The cashier working that shift helped us and was really accommodating and patient as we decided what we wanted; her suggestions were also spot on to what we were looking for! Finally a place that has mini boba!!! Their drinks aren't anything special but it hits the spot of the nostalgic milk tea taste I had growing up. They are extremely generous with their topping so I would recommend to ask for less if you don't want 1/3 of your drink being boba read more

Went to give it another shot because I give places the benefit of the doubt that they may not have it all dialed in yet when brand new. Boy was ai wrong! We purchased two drinks and after purchasing realized a sign that said it was happy hour. We politely asked if the offer can be applied to our order and the employee said no, because they are not able to refund our order or provide us the free one. The manager came up and also said no we can't do that and just walked off. . . We waited for our drink order for a while and wondered where it was when it was not busy. I walked over to check on the status of the drinks and they were sitting on the counter. Would have been nice to call out the drinks. We got roasted oolong milk tea & earl grey milk tea, The Earl grey was strong this time, but still basic. Half of the drinks were mini pearls!!! Why so excessive? We didn't ask for extra. Grass jelly again melted into my drink and was just a slop of goo. I will never be back. read more
