I really liked this spot. I'm definitely stopping here when going to Sacramento. I was put on to egg coffee here. It was egg-cellent! It really was creamy and delicious. I also had to try their in house made cherry blossom foam. I got it with matcha. It was incredible!!!! And then the rice paper flower on top? Better than a cherry on top. They had these little clay animals that they put dry ice in and I just had to get one and I have no regrets! It was so fun and you get to keep the clay pot. The staff was really nice and really quick making drinks. Such a cute place to visit.

Soooo good! I'm not a huge fan of Ube but let me tell you! All of the other flavors were so good!!! I will say it may be a good idea to share because it was hard drinking so much coffee but it definitely was amazing!

Fresh Mango and Cream Mochi cross section....HEAVENLY!!! Enjoyed each heavenly bite. 100/10!!!

Their Viet coffee flight with ice cream was amazing!! We got Pistachio, Green Tea, Vanilla, and Chocolate- none will disappoint bc they all have a different personality. Mango Mochi was dreamy creamy heavenly and so so easy to eat- was gone in a flash but enjoyed every morsel! Ann at the front was pleasant and patient with us when trying to decide what we wanted to order. The only discrepancy of this cute cafe is the supply in bathroom- we arrived when they just opened as first Customers and Paper Towels to dry off hands werent stocked and ready for the day. Yikes. Need to pay more attention to the bathroom and this place would be next to perfect! Would visit again for their Viet coffee-so delightful!

Cafe La Vies was such a delight. I follow the page on Instagram and the drinks always look so pretty. I got the chance to try two drink today and they were delicious. When we got there it was a full house. All the tables were full with people sitting and chatting which speaks to the coziness of it. I tried the banana matcha and the white chocolate mocha. They were both great and I will definitely be going back to try more.

We came all the way from north natomas just for the coffee. We were told it was awesome... they didn't lie!not a fan of matcha, but the creme brule, tirimasu, and banana coffee were definitely worth the 40 minute drive... the menu is huge... so we'll be back!

Fun cafe experience at this hyped up coffee and tea shop! My friend saw one of the reels for new years steaming clay lions on bubble tea so we went to try it. The steaming tea was aesthetic and all the fun! It is a bit over hyped but enjoyable nonetheless Update: came by again and had some Vietnamese coffee at this Vietnamese cafe! With the tiramisu and ube topped drinks, this was great! There was a bonus surprise cup with cute keychain plushies at the bottom too. Delightful fun made the sweet coffees all the better

The little smoking dragons so cute!!!

First visit-I came to get some matcha and also their little smoking dragon. I am a sucker for anything cute and the little clay dragon did not disappoint. Service was fast and the matcha was spot on. Lots of people on computers just hanging out. Plenty of parking and you can get points of you sign up. Second visit we went for the matcha flight. For small marchas of different flavors. Coconut, pumpkin, regular matcha and banana matcha. Coconut was super sweet and not my fave. My first pick was the Pumpkin then the regular matcha with the banana in third that had actual banana bits. The staff is super sweet and fast at taking orders and preparing your drink. They have been out of the plushy key chain dragon but still have the smoking little dragon for an extra cost. Totally worth seein

My friend was visiting from the Bay Area and put me on to the new banana bread coffee trend by scooping up a flight from Cafe La Vies. I am looking forward to making an in-person visit to experience the cafe for myself but I was impressed by the four different samples. I had the tiramisu, biscoff, egg coffee and the banana bread. Now I'm used to just condensed milk at the bottom so these flavor combos were quite a surprise. It felt like I was drinking a pastry or drinking a sweet treat. The banana bread stood out to me from the four different samples but each had a unique flavor. I preferred the banana bread because it tasted the most balanced. The coffee and the sugar were complimenting each other, whereas with the others the sweetness dominated the entire drink and I couldn't really taste much of anything else. I would say the egg coffee came in second for me after the banana bread.

New study spot secured (mind you: with CHARGERS)! I came with a friend and got the matcha flight: - banana matcha 4/10 - biscoff matcha 7/10 - coconut matcha 9/10 - vanilla matcha 6/10 Music was playing, plenty of chairs and tables available. Many students coming and out to study or enjoy snacks and coffee together. It was relatively clean, a few sticky tables but the service was quick and easy. Hopefully you go and try it!

Their matcha tastes pretty good, just the right amount of each flavor combination. I tried their biscoff matcha latte and it was really delicious. They put the biscoff cookie on top of the lid, instead of in the drink. The place was super cozy, clean, and they offered cute trinkets and trendy items to go with the drinks. However, the service just wasn't friendly today.

Great place for a quick drink fix. It was pretty busy when I came on a Sunday morning with my friend. Service is quick and efficient. They have so many different matcha combinations that I have to come back to try! I tried their Strawberry Matcha with boba which was honestly a bit mild tasting to me. I'm going to come back to try their other drinks though! Their menu is diverse. Good parking spaces as well. I don't think I would come here to study or read a book as it can get noisy/crowded, which is overwhelming with the lack of space. I think this place is a great morning stop before brunch or the Farmer's market or going out with a friend. Thank you Cafe La Vies!!!! I will be back.

One of our favorite spots for specialty Matcha drinks and other flavored coffees. We always enjoy everything that we order every time we come here. There is inside seating and it can get pretty packed. They also serve food items as well. Definitely a must try Spot to add to your favorite coffee shop list!

If we had known in the beginning that the Matcha Flight was fairly decent in size and the amount of matcha was a lot. We wouldn't have ordered 3. The verdict! 1. Banana matcha for the win 2. Matcha with coconut surprisingly good 3. Matcha Biscoff was okay 4. Matcha regular meh Overall, we had a stomachache and headache after drinking way too much matcha but it was worth it!

They are owned and run by Journey Church, which is why they are in a Church building and it gives lowkey church lobby vibes. The Coffee here is excellent, I personally love the one and one, which is an espresso shot and a cortado for around $4. Service is kind, informative, and helpful. My one critique is parking is pretty confusing. It's a little challenging to actually find the shop, but it's nothing you can't solve in 45 seconds if you're determined to get your caffeine fix.

Parking was confusing, didn't realize it was in a church and there wasn't really obvious signage from the parking lot that you're in the right spot. I had to look at the other review pictures to be like okay, I am here. Interior is cute and modern, but lacking that lived in feel I prefer for coffee shops. Service was quick. The coffee itself seems to lean towards biblical (lol?) food items. Think olive oil, dates, tahini, honey. I got the Tahini Einspanner because how fun, I can get some tastes of tahini and date but the whip and syrup didn't mix well into the drink despite me aggressively trying so it just lasted like a $7 plain latte. I almost had to bite the whip because it was so thick. Seems like they're using quality ingredients so the intention is there, the executions needs some refinement.

Super flavor and have Vietnamese influence in all their snacks and drinks. My favorite is the taro crispy rice cake, it's sooo good and something you can't find in other cafes/restaurants. The all-around favorites are the mango pomelo and the Mango Tango (make sure to get it with jasmine tea and they also have a yogurt option if you like some extra tartness)! I think when mangoes are in season they also add fresh mango to the drinks which is a huge plus. I am also a huge milk tea fanatic and personally like my tea very strong without any hint of it being watery. My favorites are the Da Hong Pao and Osmanthus Oolong for extra floral freshness, both at 80% sweetness which is the perfect level imo for even a sweet tooth like me! Their boba is always cooked to the perfect chewiness and my only complaint is that I wish their milk teas had the option of coming in a larger size! The staff is always very cheerful and friendly, something that hasn't changed at all since they opened, which I really appreciate. The space itself is also very bright and spacious with plenty of seating and they also have lots of great snacks which makes it a good spot for hanging out. They also do lots of fun decorations and special events for holidays!
