I came here about 3-4 years ago and boy is it different now. There are a ton of retail stores, a movie theater, a dave and busters, and a ton of food places. It is definately a good place to get your shopping done or just a great place to burn some time. read more

There are a wide variety of outlet stores with true outlet prices. My favorites being the Gap Factory Outlet, Nine West, Banana Republic, and Coach. An added feature is the Maryland Live Casino and the many eateries as well as the Cinemark movie theater. read more

Arundel Mills mall is always packed unless you go first thing in the morning. Some good places to park are around the Old Navy/best buy entrance or over by Bass Pro Shops. Almost everyone tries to park by the movie theater and Chevy's so don't even try because it can take forever to find a spot. They are building a casino here so it is a bit more nightmarish than usual right now, but the parking garage is either almost done or done. They have also added several new restaurants over here since they are going to open up the casino, unfortunately, they are pretty much the same things that you can find just up the highway in Columbia. The mall is definitely adding a lot more nice new stores because of the casino and I was happy (but bad for my bank account) when they finally opened up a Coach Outlet. read more

If you're from the area or visiting, I would def stop by here. It's such an interesting & diverse mall. Are you going to find big name anchor stores like Macy's or Bloomies (my love)? Sadly no but you'll find an array of stores. In terms of stores, it reminds me of a really good outlet on steroids (Neiman Marcus Last Call, Banana, Jcrew, Aldo, etc). However it's more than a shopping experience -- EVERYTHING you would want is here from froyo to bubble tea to pretzels to nail salons to psychic readings to a child's choochoo train that goes around the whole mall. If I could package all the materialistic things of America -- I would have made this mall. The Bad: SO CROWDED esp on the weekends. Parking is nonexistent unless you come early. Otherwise -- oh em gee -- I heard so many drivers cursing each other out while fighting for spots. I expect it will get worse once the casino opens up Summer 2012. It's also crowded in the mall & I found the air circulation to be quite lacking. The Good: get a coupon book! This is a very nice outlet mall with tons of things to do and places to shop. It's huge, and it's much nicer than the outlet mall I grew up with in NY. I went on the weekend, and there are definitely some pros and cons here. There are many outlet stores that I would typically shop at such as Banana Republic, J Crew, Loft, Ann Taylor, Express and even some designer outlets including Kate Spade and Coach. The downside is that the quality of the clothing is not as nice as the regular store at all. There is a huge clearance section located in the back of every store, and I spent some time looking for things there. I personally didn't find anything, but other people may! The mall parking is difficult to find. Also the place is overrun with teenagers on the weekend.. I can see why though because there's a movie theater, Dave and busters and a lot to do at this mall. Also the customer service isn't as nice in the stores. Only one store I went into had someone say hi to me when I walked in. read more

Arundel Mills is a gargantuan mall. I have heard people walk around it for exercise it's so big. It opened a while back now, so I think a lot of the glamour has started to come off the mall. It is mainly an outlet location, and has some great things like Medieval Times also. It is extremely crowded on the weekends, but usually during the week, it is worth touring. I am a fan of the Chevy's happy hour, and the Egyptian theater. It really has almost everything, and lots of outlet stores of some high end spots. Cheaper attractions are starting to move in though, so hopefully it won't go too far down, but so far I still feel safe despite the new stereotype that it's an unsafe location. I guess we will see what the casinos bring though! read more

This strip mall area was BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!! Definitely stumbled on it by accident while traveling to Baltimore. First off, parking is TERRIBLE, so the shopping anticipation was killing me inside! Busy parking lot = awesome strip mall? Haha, definitely not. There is also a theater, Medieval Times, Dave and Busters (small, crowded, smells like B.O.), and some boat store.. Forgot the name, but anyways.. In addition, there are several store options including Charlotte Russe, Banana Republic Outlet, Michael Kors, Saks Fifth, H&M, Forever21, TJ Maxx, etc etc.. just to name a few! You can also go to the outlet mall website to see which stores have DEALS prior to your visit! But, I didn't see any great deals, which was totally sad.. usually my arms are filled when I shop at outlets! THE DEALS!! Then the food court.. several options including Cajun & Grill. Never heard of that before, but it was okay.. Definitely added a lot of seasoning.. I would go with tasty snacks for the day if you are planning on grabbing a bite to eat or ... go to one of the restaurants inside the mall! But overall.. not impressed. Finding a parking spot stinks and the shopping expedition wasn't that epic! Totally killed my experience. OH I will say though.. If you've never been to a Medieval Times show, I would definitely check it out! Haha, you eat all Barbaric like..It's kind of fun! read more

I'm honestly not impressed with this mall. The shopping is just ok in my opinion, the crowds make shopping unpleasant and the parking is always horrible. When I come here my first stop is the valet because I know it's not worth the time I'll spend looking for a spot. Valet parking has gone up in price from $5 to $8 which is a little steep but still worth it. The traffic on 295 is also bad so I typically only make the drive for Dave & Busters or the casino and soon I won't need to come at all since they're building an MGM casino at the national harbor and a Dave & Busters in Capitol Heights. I never really go for the shopping as there are much better options closer to my home. They call this an outlet mall but most of the stores (if not all) have the same offerings as their non-outlet counterparts, and for the same prices. If I feel like wasting money at a casino I'll come here since it's the closest option (for now) and if I want to go to Dave & Busters I'll make the drive, but other than that it's not worth the hassle. The fact that they're putting a D&B and a casino in PG County can only help this mall though because hopefully a lot of people will stay down the beltway and the crowds will be lessens and therefore, parking will improve. When/if that happens it will be a much more enjoyable experience. read more

This place is exactly a mile loop. They have all of your typical stores, even some rare ones. Bass Pro Shop is huge, they also have medieval times and a big movie theater. I came on a rainy day with a newborn and used the valet parking for $6. Was worth it. Food court is big and diverse. Fun to just walk around this place if anything, can easily kill a day. read more

Huge. Huge. Mall. There's something for everyone. From Neiman Marcus and Saks (which are in fact department stores, despite being one level) to Hot Topic and FYE. There's a movie theater, Dave and Busters, kiddie rides throughout the mall...Literally. It's almost like a sensory overload in this place as well. There's almost too much to do here. Bright, colorful mall with loads of shopping options. Many of the stores are sale-heavy and (unlike some "outlet malls" these days that are outlet in name only) definitely seem to be -outlet- stores, carrying last year's (or before...) faded fads . . . which is perfect for someone like me whose taste is rarely timely. The football shape with a few crossthrough halls makes everything convenient to access and easy to find. The food options are plentiful - a food court with several fast-food chains (and one 'slow' food chain's fast-ish food offering), several snack places scattered around the mall, and a few full restaurants at one end. And the Cinemark movie theater is a good one. Plus the crowd is always a wide mix of people, which always pleases me. Overall, it's an enjoyable experience every time. As an aside, outside the mall the area continues to spawn hangers-on strip mall-type areas and standalone stores and restaurants. Also, according to billboards, the main mall is preparing to add an adults-only (over-21, I believe the sign said) gaming and entertainment complex. read more

Lots of parking space and easy to find. I thought it was a pretty good outlet to be honest. They have a lot of name brand clothing here and trust me they are still expensive. Don't forget name brand clothing originally is a couple hundred dollars and half off is still a couple hundreds =D. I was able to get a pair of True Religion jeans for my boyfriend :) got them for $100 bucks which is a killer deal. The original price on those jeans are about $250, you can't find these jeans anywhere that are less than a hundred dollars. Unless they are bootleg copy ones :) I will stop by one more time before I leave MD. I love to shop and this is an outlet that I will totally recommend friends to check it out. Nice mall love the fact that it is still indoors. Hating all these outdoor places. I always park at Bass Pro shops seems that no matter what time of year there are always spots there. Decent movie theater. Nice variety of outlet stores and regular price stores. Food court remodel is impressive. Really enjoyed the new Zin Burger. There can be long lines in the food court depending on the hour of the day, but there always seems to be plenty of seating. Wish the bubble tea place would not have left down by Aunt Annie's. Enjoy Buffalo Wild Wings from time to time but the food there and Chevy's has gone down hill. Love the Coach outlet and usually score all my Coach items at 50% off. The magnolia center inside best buy is the only local place that had the AV Receiver I needed for my home set up. Wondering what the completion of the hotel will do to the crowds here. Rif Raff can be annoying at times. Theft is prevalent in the parking lots. read more

AM Mall is just like the Concord Mall in southern North Carolina. Same stores, same snack shops and the same basic set-up. There were some different restaurants and attractions. (AM has a Medieval Times dinner show while CM has an aquarium.) It was load and busy but also full of Christmas themed things to see. A must see is the Bass Pro Shop. It is a selfie paradise. We did buy 1 thing: a Flake chocolate bar from The Candy Shop. This is a candy bar imported from the UK that is very hard to find in the US. It made my wife's night. read more

Solid mall to shop at. I love the movie theater and Chevy's (not one near where I live, so it's fun to stop in for drinks/tapas). Their D&B is way better than the one near my house (White Flint needs to step it up!). They have a Medieval Times. And I love the BCBG and Banana Republic outlets. Wow. Absolutely beautiful and huge would be the words I would use to describe this place. The kiddos and I were in awe when we first drove around this mall in circles trying to find a parking space (which we learned is not easy to find on a weekend). Seeing the castle for Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament and the Cinemark Egyptian 24 Theaters was pretty impressive. The kiddos asked if we were at Disneyland, and I said, "Not quite..." We sure did a lot of walking, as if we were at some kind of amusement park though! This is one massive mall! There is an large selection of stores from FYE, Victoria's Secret, Lego Store, Crocs, Coach, and more! It's a great place to go to get a workout without even realizing it until your feet and legs start to hurt after a while! lol The kiddos loved the Bass Pro Shop. The loved looking at the fish and animals. There's even a rock climbing wall. We were disappointed that there wasn't a free play area considering the size of the mall. All they had was a small group of kiddie machines/rides that you had to pay to go on. They did find the hamster balls that kids can go into at the food court interesting, but that also was another pay to play place. There was also a train for kids to ride, which is cute, but of course that's not free either. My son was fascinated by the Theater since he had learned about the Pyramids, etc. He thought he was in Egypt! He told his little sister not to touch anything since the hieroglyphics were very old! I didn't have the heart to break the news to him that it was all just a replica and not the real deal. I think I'll burst that bubble after he figures out that Santa and the Easter Bunny aren't real either. I'm willing to forgive this mall's lack of a free kids play area (but if they did put one in, that'd be wonderful) and chaos for parking. I give it five stars since it's beautiful, huge, has a large variety of stores, is clean, and definitely someone was thinking outside of the box when it was made, because I don't recollect ever seeing another mall like it! read more

The first thing you should do when you arrive is check in on Foursquare. "Newbies" can show the badge on their mobile phones to the customer service desk to receive a free coupon book. Arundel Mills has a lot of great stores, and they've recently opened several new ones. Parking is always a pain, and lately the parking lot has been the scene of a few crimes. Maybe carry some pepper spray on you and always be aware of your surroundings. read more

Went to Grand Jewelers where I was stereotyped as soon as I walked in the door. I was treated rudely today while shopping for earings for my fiance. I applied for the financing and after them taking 15 minutes to run my information, I was declined but not given a reason. There was no credit check and they only had to verify my employment and that I had a bank account. I have both. After the decline they refused to sell me anything. I had money, I'm a veteran, I have a job and was treated like a second class citizen. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Arundel Mills is an utter monstrosity of a mall, which is to say it's typical of contemporary American gluttony. It consumes an absurd amount of land because it was built in only a single floor, with flat surface parking. If this square footage of mall were built in 2 or 3 stories, with parking garages, it would be several-fold more reasonable in terms of both distance and environmental impact. Assuming that sort of thing doesn't bother you, Arundel's mile or more of corridors contain a wide selection of moderate-to-upscale shops, plus the Muvico Egyptian cinema and Medieval Times dinner theater. read more

This is a good mall. It hosts the Egyptian-themed movie theater which is amazing. I also love the fact that there is a Chevy's restaurant and a Medieval Times. My complaints are #1 they don't have an Abercrombie and Fitch or Hollister here, which is a make or break stipulation for me. Any legitimate mall should have an Abercrombie store. #2 they don't have any nice jewelery or watch stores. #3 it seems that Arundel Mills hosts a lot of the no-name/knockoff type stores that sell worthless merchandise at exorbitant prices. To me this is out of character for a mall of such reputation. Aside from those few scrutinizing complaints, it is a good place. It has a lot of potential, it could easily be a 5-star mall if it wanted to. I don't understand what's holding it back. read more

I've had the chance to visit this mall twice and both times were very enjoyable. I love shopping malls and this is one is huge. Last time I visited was to see 21 Jump Street at the Cinemark Egyptian 24. We arrived early so we killed sometime by taking a walk around the whole mall since it's basically one giant circle. The first store we stopped in was Books-A-Million. With the inventions of Nooks and Kindles I have to say the bookstore looked a little empty and on the sad side even though they had several large sections of bargain and clearance books. Back in the comedy section I found a copy of The Encyclopedia Shatnerica, covering all things in the world of William Shatner for only $3.97. From there we kept walking and observing the stores we passed. The next stop was at the food court where my boyfriend ordered some Burger King nuggets and we split a medium fountain soda. I didn't look at all the food court choices but I do remember a tasty japanese place (judging by the sample the lady offered us), a chinese place, and subway that were near the burger king. There was also a salad kiosk and a bagel kiosk. When we continued, we passed the medieval times and bass pro shop which we went in when I last visited in November. I don't hunt or fish but I was amused by the variety of things the store has to offer and really enjoyed seeing the giant tank of fish they have. Sadly they were not doing a feeding when I was there and I didn't check this past time. We killed the remaining time in Best Buy (which to be attached to a shopping mall I find to be unique and impressive) and made it to the movie right on time. The only thing I would complain about is the people of the individual kiosks can be a little pushy which you get at every shopping mall but there is one lady in particular who almost made us late to show us a demonstration of a product I told her three times that I already owned. On top of it all she had to remove the nail polish on one of my nails to do it, leaving me with nine painted nails and one unpainted. I was rather peeved about that and it takes a lot to make me peeved. My advice is just to avoid eye contact as much as possible unless you actually have interest in the product. Considering the purpose of my last visit was to visit the movie theater, I would say it was a very pleasant experience and I look forward to going again friday for The Hunger Games. read more

As a teenager, this place is the greatest. They have pretty much everything under the sun that you could want here. And if its not inside, Its across the street. Instead of having to drive and drive to find the various things you need, its all within walking distance. The full walk around is long, but who's complaining? You either come to a mall because you want to shop, or kill time. For most people my age, its both: you come here for something in particular, but your secondary objective is an excuse to hang with friends all day. This is a nice environment to do so, and you can make the hour walk around the mall take 5 if you play your cards right. And trust me, America, you need an excuse to walk those 2 miles, so stop whining =/ The movie theatre is one of the best. It used to be the best, because muvico was kind enough to provide free popcorn toppings, but when they changed to "cinnemark" or whatever they took it away. Boo. Still, they have an arcade inside the theatre area, that has DDR and Guitar hero and crane machines and everything to entertain you until your movie time. Unfortunately, you DO have to buy a ticket to play...but the theatres are comfy and huge, so why not? The food court is a little blah, but that's a food court for you. The best food there comes from their restaurants like Chili's and Du Claw and the ones outside, like Golden Corral, and I think they have a Potbelly too. If you can't afford that, they do have some good things like subway and Chinese places. Of course, our definitions of good may vary, haha. All in all, this place is awesome. I have since moved pretty far away, but people from even my neck of the woods prefer this mall over some of the local ones, and will drive the hour drive just to visit. I should also point out that they open at midnight on black Friday, and I've gotta say, I was not scared witless by the crowds, since they were pretty evenly disbursed, and weren't running for flat screen TVs or anything like Target or Walmart. It is one of the most fun all-nighters I've had yet as well. The only downside was not having a shopping cart to carry all of my crap. I've only minused 1 star because they have no sushi. But 4 stars for Arundel Mills, as they are perpetually awesome and equally as much fun! read more

Not being really into shopping malls, I will have to say that this one is better than average, lots of shops, a decent food court, and...valet parking? Hmmm...must be an east coast type of thang. I told my friend (who had never been to the mall) to meet me in the middle of the food court, and he did. The malls open with it's the food court. However, there is no place to sit to eat. People are sitting on the floor or standing at any location possible. If a restaurant can provide seats, the mall should be able to provide seating. read more

Arundels Mills has a lot to offer for its customers. I am pleasantly surprised to see a more variety in its shopping. I was very pleased to see that one of my favorite retailers Talbots had recently opened a store there. If you like to walk for exercise like I do, this mall is for you. It is like walking in a big city in itself. My other favorite stores are Bed Bath & Beyond, The Leggs Bra Outlet, TJ Maxx to name a few. However there are some nice stores that are a big too pricey but you can see the quality of its merchandise. The Cinemark movie theater is very nice. One problem I do have with Arundel Mills is the parking. I usually park near Bed Bath & Beyond and the Bass Pro Shop parking lot where there usually is an abundance of parking. The new casino doesn't really help the traffic and parking situation. Other than that, it is nice mall you can do a lot things such as shopping, catch a movie and dine out. Arundel Mills has continued to change in an effort to continue to maintain the crowds it had when it first opened. They have redecorated the interior to make it feel a little more comfortable adding in more places to sit down. There are also a good number of interactive kiosks, teeth whitening, massages etc. It has high ceilings and still feels spacious. The mall can get very crowded during prime time. There can be a good number of kids roaming although the mall has attempted to take steps to prevent anything reckless from happening. From the shopping perspective it is an outlet mall with a large variety of stores. They usually have a variety of deals where you can buy name brands at discounted prices with the occasional gem found at a deep discount. The larger anchor stores I've found to be a little less organized and it can be difficult to find sizes at least in all men's stores I go to. There are a large variety of your big chain restaurants and fast food but service is hit or miss. The parking situation is hectic almost always and you may get lucky or end up in the boonies. Overall it's a fairly clean mall with a good selection of stores and a solid number of food options. read more

I have always loved Arundel Mills. It's a long walk around, but it's good to get in a good walk while shopping. The mall is a complete circle, which I think is best since in many malls there are so many turns that you end up missing an area. We only go when we know we have time to walk around and look. Nice, clean, and friendly atmosphere. There's a train that drives around the mall for kids, and lots of mall security. There's even a breastfeeding room and child friendly bathrooms at the food court. The movie theater is great! Best one I can remember going to- so many selections of snacks and meals. There are so many restaurants and snack areas to choose from. Much better than Columbia and Annapolis. Only downside is it's hard to find parking, but I don't mind parking kind of far when I'm going to be spending a few hours in the mall. read more

This mall has upgraded the food court and it is better than ever. Finally has a Ralph Lauren Polo Store! I use to live in the area of this mall a few years ago and it has up graded a great deal. Casino, restaurants, great shopping options and now with the hotel being available its even better. Very busy mall on the weekends and around the holiday time. Whatever you do go straight to the parking garage attached to the casino on weekends! If you don't you will find yourself driving around this mall parking lot for at least 30 minutes before finding a space. I now live about 45 mins from this mall without traffic and don't mind traveling to come to this outlet mall at all. read more

An ok place to shop This isn't a bad place to shop but there's just one thing that I never understood. Why no department stores? Seriously! Its almost like they secretly have some policy against putting some in the mall. Its never had any and I really don't know if they ever will. It would also really help if they made a parking garage for the mall attendants and for the students who attend the community college that's across the street. read more
