I wake up to find my refrigerator not cooling everything is melting. I start searching for someone to help. before I lose all of my food. like anyone I had a lot of questions. I called several business's to check pricing and see if maybe it was something I could do to prevent a service call. after calling several who were very secretive I got a hold of Scott at Arvada appliance. he assured me that they would do everything they could to save my refrigerator and if it couldn't be fixed or the cost to fix was to expensive, as it could have been a compressor issue. that they would give me back half of their trip charge off the delivery of a new refrigerator, if I bought it from them. I thought okay the trip charge must be expensive. to my surprise it was not even close to being as expensive as the 5 other places I called. so I then had concerns about some of the reviews I read on here. Scott simply said when you have done business as long as we have, you will always have a couple of customers who are not happy, he never played down their concerns. he just simply said, you get what you pay for. we give everyone a written estimate that they must approve of and sign before any work is done. we have a tech that has been doing this for over 20 years. so I decided to give them a chance. Scott told me that Skip would be giving me a call before he came out for the appointment. Skip called me a little earlier then anticipated as he had a customer that was not home. I told him it would be about an hour before I could be home and he said no problem. he would wait for me. and asked me what kind of floors I have in my home. I thought why does he need to know that? then he explained he just wanted to know if he need a work mat to pull the fridge out on. Skip showed up on time as promised checked the refrigerator out in what seemed like 30 seconds gave me an estimate for the repair. it was about 250 dollars. to fix I asked when it could be done and he said right now if you would like. I have the part and it would take about 20 min. i asked why it would be so much. he said our pricing goes off an average. some techs take longer to diagnose and repair problems then others. he then showed me online what the national average was for the job he was doing. and the price was around 300.00 dollars. I was like sold! yes fix it. Arvada Appliance is the best for service and repairs. I will never use anyone else. My 5 year old refrigerator wasn't cooling below 50 degrees, but the freezer worked fine. I never had a problem before. I was told by a different contractor that I needed a new Damper and Main Control Board. I didn't believe the diagnosis because the Main Control Panel worked fine. Arvada Appliance came out within an hour and showed me that my refrigerator doesn't even have a DAMPER because it has 2 separate cooling coils; one for the freezer and a different one for the refrigerator. All the part/fans weren't working because they were frozen inside the back panel of my fridge. In order to do a proper diagnosis, he needed all the ice melted from the back panel. He came back a couple hours later, defrosted everything, and checked all the parts with the meter. Nothing was broken! It just needed defrosting. Ice built up over the years from warm food and the door opening and closing. My refrigerators great now. I was very impressed by their service man. He really knew his product line and saved me $700 dollars. read more

My over the range microwave stopped working just before the football playoffs. I ran to Lowes replacement in 2 weeks! Appliance warehouse does not carry try Home Depot. They assured me they had it and could install in 2 days Great! Not so great called to cancel delivery from Friday to Monday, Monday called and cancelled until Wednesday no product. I called Maytag and said they shipped and it was there on Tuesday. I call the installation for Home Depot said it would be Wednesday, Wednesday they said it was not on the installers truck when he left it would be Friday. LinnStarr the installer customer service reps. were very rude. Friday they show up with a damaged microwave. I refused to accept the damaged one. They reorder and make 3 more appointments to deliver with no result. Just before the Super bowl they say the best they can do is February 6th. Let me tell you how wonderful this place is. I live in Castle Rock and Arvada is 40 min away. There has got to be something pretty good about this company for me to drive that distance for a washer and dryer. ALL the people there were friendly and professional not just in person but over the phone also. I worked with a gentleman named Christian and he made me feel like I was important not just another person. He worked with me on getting the best price for my washer and dryer and he beat ALL competitors prices. They deliver for free and they even Bought my old washer and dryer for $50.00,not to many people do that. To top everything off they have a 10 year warrenty on new products.Now thats a company who backs there products. All I can say is give them a chance I think you will be surprised. I am shocked at the low reviews! I have had nothing but great customer service with this company. My friend suggested that I call these guys to fix a cooktop. The tech came out and we quickly discovered that it was not repairable. I researched the cooktop I wanted and they made me the best deal available. When the cooktop came in, it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so they stood behind their product and let me return it. They did not carry the higher end unit that I wanted, so they referred me to another appliance store who could help me. They never even charged me for the repair visit by the technician. Their Office manager, Anita, is the most pleasant person to deal with and I received a personal call from the owner. I have never called them that they didn't answer on the first ring. The service has always been prompt; the repair people courteous and competent. Recently had to have a built-in oven/microwave unit repaired. It was a major task because the whole 200 lb. unit had to be removed. Two repair men had the job done in less than an hour. They were careful, thorough, and friendly. I highly recommend Arvada Appliance for purchasing appliances and receiving prompt and qualified service. Anita was most helpful in supplying information to me about choices available for either repairing or replacing the unit. When our microwave went out a few days ago, we shopped around for the best deals at all the national home improvement stores and electronic stores. Arvada Appliance had the best price and one on the shelf. Anita was very helpful and courteous. Their showroom was plenty big enough and they had several brands to choose from. What they did not stock, they could order in a few days time not like Lowe's two week order time. I will be going back soon as our dish washer is now on the fritz! Christian was phenomenal! He helped me find a fridge for a fraction of the cost I would have paid elsewhere and arranged for next morning delivery and haul away of my old one. He was honest, professional and helpful. The installers were also very professional and careful not to damage my door frames or walls when installing the new fridge and removing the old one. I found them to be very honest, friendly and fair. My dryer was no longer heating so I brought it to them for a diagnostic based on a recommendation from Frigidaire. Diagnostic, parts and labor came to $105. Much less than I feared. They could have easily charged me more and I would have never known. I brought it in on Wednesday and it was ready for pick up Friday so speed was good too. In home service is also an option if you want to go that way. read more
