Excellent!!! Definitely stop in and support a small business! The shawarma sandwiches are LARGE and can easily be split in two for sharing. Hummus was great and a huge portion. Be ready to bring some home or share with many! The maamoul desserts look beautiful. We ordered one that I did not try but was told it was delicious! Gracious owner. The food here is amazing! My husband and I popped in for lunch. I had the falafel wrap. The falafel was done really well. At other places it is rock hard and cold. This was delicious! My husband had the lamb gyro wrap and he was very impressed. He is really picky about lamb and he said it tasted great. The portions are really generous so the value is good. some of the most delicious gyros ive had. he uses tons fo seasoning, the gyros are huge, and he pours his heart into every order. the cookies are delicious, and its just a wonderful small business. obviously the orders can take a bit of time due to making them to order, but id say it's definitely worth it read more

We tried a lot of items from their menu since it was our first time there. Everything was good but specifically: From the food menu - the hummus plate was generous and was delicious. The stuffed grape leaves were super flavorful (one of my favorites). I also got a chicken wrap that was really tasty with the pickled turnips. Most of the plates we got came with these pickled turnips that I couldn't get enough of. From the bakery - we got an assortment of cookies which were very nice. We liked the date filled and sesame cookies...they are not super-sweet but they have a great texture. Our favorite of all the desserts was this sort of coconut "cake"..it had a very different texture from a typical American sponge cake, but we loved it. read more

He is happy to make alterations to fit your needs/likes/dislikes. The chicken kabob comes with hummus, tabbouli, and basmati rice--all are excellent! It's okay, I guess, but there is a lot less flavor than one normally expects from Lebanese cooking. Pretty sure that the normal way of making hummus does involve some spices beyond whatever they sprinkle on top, and does not involve about 1/4" of olive oil floating atop the surface. You can't tip the container lest the oil spill all over the place, which is difficult during take-out. To their credit, staff try their best to counter that. The tahini is all right; baklawa all right. I think they buy their pitas from a distributor; nothing special. As far as being King of Shawarma, maybe Baron or Count, but not the king. I like the way it was all crumbled up, but flavorwise it was missing something. That's the overall issue here, flavorwise missing something. If you want to introduce someone to Middle Eastern, and it's someone who dislikes strong flavors and prefers it very bland, this is definitely your place. read more

This goes into my book as overpriced and inauthentic. Who puts French Fries into a gyro and leaves out the fresh mint, dill and cucumbers? And even worse, I saw them put the "gyro" into a sandwich maker pressing it down repeatedly -- ugh, now the lettuce got very cooked! And yes, I was expecting a wrap with a pita not what appeared to be a flour tortilla. That adds up to some strange ethnic combo of American, Mexican and Lebanese (if you count the pieces of lamb). I've eaten a lot of gyros in my day some of the best coming from Vancouver, Canada and the Bay area. I won't be going back. read more
