This is a NEW RESTAURANT. I can see the potential for success once they work out kinks and become fully functional. I'm hoping they will add cocktails to the menu. Ambiance is gorgeous the colors are beautiful and vibrant. The outside looks like Greek Goddess's and God's could live here. It's a beautiful restaurant and decorated simply, but modern and chic. The space is amazing and so cozy. I love the vibe and energy of the place. Service is decent, some of the staff is new and still learning. Everyone seemed polite and nice. I love the lunch prices. It gives you a chance to sample and test the menu. The wings were fried to perfection. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. I did ask for all flats and somehow the kitchen messed up my request. The sauce that came with the wings was blah. I think they need to serve some type of spicy sauce. The plantain chips were tasty. I enjoyed the seasoning on them and how thin they were. The beef patty fell flat for me. I enjoyed the pastry part. It was truly magical. It was light and fluffy, soft and flaky. The inside filling was bland though. I needed some seasoning or onions, peppers or more meat. I was disappointed with the taste. Overall I had a decent experience and I was happy to support a new business. This restaurant is a Caribbean Fusion with an emphasis on Haitian cuisine. I really wanted to try oxtails, but they were out of them. I might return once they have been open for a while. I am wishing them success in their new restaurant home.

The food was amazing, very flavorful. The service was amazing. Am planning to go back soon. Even thinking about celebrating my birthday here his year. They have an amazing patio.

My wife has been raving about his place after seeing reviews on TikTok. We were in the area and decided to finally give them a try for lunch. To my surprise, this restaurant serves Haitian Creole food. The place is really nice; once inside, you feel like you are out of the country and on an island. The food is delicious, and the service was great. This place has a lot of potential, especially with summer around the corner. Unfortunately, i live pretty far from this restaurant, but I would certainly make the trip from Fort Worth to come back for more island food and vibes at Arôme. Highly recommend!

Holy moly this place has amazing food!!! It's on the pricier side but once you take your first bite it makes so much sense. The ambiance is nice and the service was kind.

Great service and ambiance. Mom ordered the oxtails and shes loved every bite. She's already ready for another visit before flying home. I ordered the lamb chops which were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a flavorful sear. The Haitian rice was very good, and the carrots added a nice touch of sweetness. The plantains were soft, caramelized, and the perfect complement. Overall, a delicious and well-rounded meal.

Beautiful environment! Cozy atmosphere and attentive servers!

I am not usually a dark beer guy but the server talked me into their schwarzbier and I ended up ordering a second one. If you are into porters and stouts they have you covered, and if you lean lighter there is plenty on the board too. The food held its own right alongside the beer. I went with the burger and it hit exactly the way a good pub burger should, juicy with a solid char and fries that actually get finished. My wife ordered the pappardelle on a recommendation from the table next to us and she was not sharing much of it, which tells you everything. We started with the chips and queso and cleared the bowl before the entrees even landed. Great vibe inside, big patio, and the service kept our drinks full the whole time. This one is an easy recommend.

I'm not a fan of constant interruptions while eating, so that balance was appreciated. The place itself is awesome. Plenty of TVs, a great layout, outdoor patio, and a great bar area. Perfect hangout spot whether you're with family, friends, or just grabbing lunch solo. Prices are reasonable and competitive with similar spots. The downtown McKinney location is ideal and easy walking distance to other shops and restaurants, so no need to keep driving around. Food was great. The burger was juicy and flavorful even well done. The salmon was also well done with crispy edges and a slab of butter that melted right over it great flavor. Hoping that butter option is available for the steak because that's next on my list. Sides were solid too. Only thing I wasn't big on was the fries. They're super thin, so they were crispy but had a slightly hard, borderline stale texture. Just my opinion though. overall still a great experience. Definitely coming back. Burger and salmon were outstanding, customer service was great, and the atmosphere makes it a spot worth checking out with family or friends.

My husband and I met friends for a double date, and from the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly throughout the evening. We started with cocktails, shared three appetizers, enjoyed two bottles of wine, ordered four entrées, sampled three desserts, and finished with nightcaps. Not a single dish missed the mark. The burrata was fresh and creamy, the calamari was perfectly cooked, and the steak tataki was one of the highlights of the meal. Every entrée was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a polished atmosphere that still feels relaxed and welcoming. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, enjoy good conversation, and appreciate great food without feeling rushed. Excellent food, excellent service, and an all-around memorable evening. We're already looking forward to our next visit. We also want to recognize the outstanding service we received during our visit. Our server, Gabby, was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and helped make the entire dining experience feel special from start to finish. It's clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. We were equally impressed by Connie, the manager on duty. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and present throughout the evening. Connie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her leadership and hospitality were evident in every interaction. Between Gabby's exceptional service and Connie's attention to detail, they elevated an already wonderful meal into a truly memorable experience. Great food brings people in, but great people are what make guests want to come back--and Gabby and Connie are excellent examples of that.

We love downtown McKinney and so many establishments have that southern charm, friendly service, and just love people. We always bring in a group of paying patrons. Early on we felt there was a clickish vibe, but never thought anything about it. We make friends everywhere, since we are travelers . Last few months we noticed a shift, bartender ruder, lack of service, the regulars shifting their gaze as if something was wrong. Last night ended that for us, and I'm sure they will be thrilled. Our bonus son chose to come here for his celebratory event. We invited a variety of people we knew, local talents, professionals, and family. Hateful comments about having a few balloons and party hats and how "you BETTER clean all that UP, I'm not doing it." We were treated with disdain. No service, each person had to get our own menu when we were ready to order, , and silverware after food was served, no one took our drink orders, when we went to the bar-our tabs were closed after each drink order. The bartender, Chevon, (who is always there) was rude and ugly to our whole group and to those she didn't even know was in our group. The new DJ, (Shawn) skipped over our friend twice. Chevron (bartender) who didn't know the person she was speaking to was my sister, said "I hate that guy, all he sings is rock songs." I mean... it karaoke. And that guy she's talking about has been bringing a group of people here for over a year. So carry on the "high school drama" there are a ton of places in McKinney that are lovely and welcoming. When you are hateful to singers, doctors, nurses, business owners, and veterans... that news will travel fast. And as rude and ugly as this review is, it's not near as rude or ugly as we were treated, individually and as a group. If you are gonna be bias to people, you don't need to be serving them. It's sad, because I know Karen and what Spoons means to her and her family. I hope they clean house and start over in the back. FYI (Shawn was a really nice DJ, he was so kind to people celebrating others.) But other than that, I wouldn't recommend The Garage for any new Collin County resident, any bridal party, bachelor party, or group celebrating anything... you can DM me and I'll give you a personal list of plenty of places to go. Many of them walking distance.

I ordered the elote with homemade tortilla chips, gluten free Mac n cheese and my mom got a flatbread. Hands down that mac n cheese was the best I ever had, it was so creamy but not over powering with that bold cheese flavor and it was made with gf penne pasta (I know a little weird.. but it was the only gf noodle choice I had). If you don't have an allergy I'm sure the regular noodles are just as good! So if you want that comfort food that Texas is known for, this is the place to check out if you're in Celina.

We told our server that between me and my wife, we will be sharing the chicken sandwich and hence requested that it be sliced into 2. Not only were the burgers sliced, it was served in separate plates with sides as well - that was a really nice touch. Cali was a bit bland, Buffalo and Burg B Q were both really nice. The drink was nice as well. There was live music but we were seated near a table that was pretty boisterous, could hardly hear anything. The outdoor seating overlooking greenery and events they do at the restaurant make the place quite different - we will definitely be back soon to try other options on the menu.
