Alberto was responsive and had a team out in a day. Work was completed and payment requested. It ended up being more work than he anticipated and we agreed upon a higher rate. It was fair and I paid. Both he and his team made comments about a one year warranty on anything they touched. 5 star rating at this point. After a couple days, there was something off. Upon inspection, his team set the second shock at a different height than the first. I messaged him a couple times including pictures. He finally answered when I called. We set up a time for his guys to fix it. They didn't show the first day and after calls and messages, he answered and set up for the next day. They came out and fixed it but noticed that this caused a bolt to bend. They ordered new ones and installed the following day. 4 star rating at this point. 2 days of driving and a new talking sound is happening. Many calls and messages and no response or answer. It turned out his team did not install the bushings on one of the shocks and left the sway bar loose. Should be no stars. His team that arrived was nice enough and clean. I'm guessing they should have had a senior mechanic overseeing them due to the errors. As for his stated "warranty", it seems to be one of convenience and sounds good but it holds no water. Alberto isn't an honest business person and does not stand by his word.

I failed my smog check because of an EVAP leak. I called around to find places that could do smoke…read moretests. I called one place, told them I failed my smog check, got a read out of what was wrong, but was met with a "oh we need to run another diagnostic and charge $300, not including the smoke tests." I called Willow Glen Auto Electric and they as told they charge $149 for the smoke tests. Went in, provided the read out from the smog test and they found the leak in my purge valve. I was quoted roughly $215 for the part and labor. Tony, the mechanic that worked on my car showed me the part that was faulty and how it was leaking slowly. Showed the same test to me with the new part and finished the job in no matter of time. After fixing the faulty purge valve, they told me to come back after driving 50-100 miles to see if my vehicle was still throwing the code. Came back a week later, they plugged in the code reader and it was working perfectly! I would recommend everyone come here for your EVAP and mechanical needs. They are friendly, honest and get the job done.
