That did not make the cut for winning our bid. My father had his own tree company for years, Z Trees, I went with, helping, so I am a bit particular what I want plus one tree was on our neighbor's property and leaning over our roof. I do with that rate them very high. They are an arborists unlike three other companies bids. If you have big trees please do give them a chance to bid your job.

Evan consulted with us for one hour about the needs and care of various trees around our house, including three Pacific Madronas, four Yoshino Cherries, three Quaking Aspens, one Golden Chain (I'm not certain that is the correct name), two apple trees, and two Dogwoods. After we…read morehad 8 trees taken down, we had lots of stumps to grind, some with root systems over 25 feet spreading throughout the front yard. Brad returned my call within a few hours and set an appointment to bid the job. Fortunately for us, he had time that very day to do the job. His bid was incredibly reasonable, and he also included some extra stumps that had been left some years ago. Because his response was so quick, there were several areas where they had to work around the logs left behind and in the way. That seemed to be no problem. They started immediately and worked the job so that I had time to make pathways to all the stumps. There were some tricky situations that took extra care (shallow water pipe from the well), but they took great care and made certain to not go too deep on that one! Being nearly 70 years old, I could not quickly move the rounds away from a mammoth poplar, some with a diameter of over 46", but Walt was able to expertly maneuver their machine around obstacles and got that giant stump ground down. After moving the huge rounds a few weeks later, we found parts of the stump and some large roots that had been buried by the logs and were unreachable. One of the impressive things they said was that if they missed anything, we could call and they would come and get it taken care of, as they guarantee their work. When I called, they responded immediately and were happy to return. They came and ground the rest of the poplar stump and some roots within in 3 days of my phone call. These guys rock and have great service and take pride in their work. Brad will be the one I call if I need more tree services!

Two different bids-…read more Trees- BIG CEDARS. Came out to bid, gent was professional and very knowledgeable. Fair pricing. Husband just didn't pick them of the five bids. Not about money. We went with arborist. Deck bid- Building a large floating deck for base of greenhouse. Very high bid for labor, bid was not detailed enough. Didn't break down ttl cost lumber pkg, labor cost was only thing detailed. Got vibe they didn't want to communicate or interested in job. This is incredibly important job to me so went with different company.
