Eventually, the day of the appointment, they called. The NP asked some benign questions. Then I got text saying that they wouldn't do the IV. "Would not" give an IV?!?! I have a lot of "doctor" friends and 4 of them NEVER heard of denying someone an IV. I think the "nurse practitioner" was an idiot. Now I have to scramble to find another option. I would not recommend this company. There are lot of alternatives in the Palm Springs area. No reason to go to these clowns.

I reached out to the Hydration Room who got me in that same afternoon, I was evaluated by an RN who reviewed my medications and history, discussed what I was hoping to achieve today, really listened to understand what was going on, and made a recommendation that we went with. The nurse was meticulous putting-in and removing the IV, pinch going in wasn't any worse than a blood draw, infusion itself was painless (and not cold? I'm always cold when hooked up to an IV). A couple hours after leaving I felt noticeably better, woke up the next morning feeling like my old self, followed by a great workout. The facility was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. I'm so grateful something like Hydration Room exists, that I didn't have to seek other medical treatment just for fluids. I don't recommend you allow yourself to get as dehydrated as I was, but if you are Hydration Room should be your first call.
