I liked every interface I had with ASAP throughout the entire process. Olha the office manager was patient and explained clearly, they sent followup calls and text messages and emails (yes, all three!) to remind me of the appointment, to tell me that they were on their way and who would be coming. I was the first appointment of the day, they arrived exactly on time. As everyone has mentioned, they came gloved and masked. They also wore shoe covers, a big plus!!! I had both the fill valve and the flush valve of my toilet replaced. The people from ASAP were meticulous, had great attention to details, made sure the toilet will flush well and no water leak into the bowl. This is so unlike the previous plumber I had who I believe didn't seat everything completely, which caused the flush valve seat to dislodge from the "ear" on the very 3rd flush in over a year - it's the guest bath that didn't get used much especially during the pandemic. I then broke the plastic "ear" when I tried myself to put the seat back in the slot and had to replace the entire flush valve. I wanted to replace the fill valve because it's old and about time.) There are many companies with similar names, I have to believe the one lone bad review posted from San Francisco on 6/6/2021 was not meant for this company. read more

TLDR - Their warranty is a sham and they do not do good work. Go anywhere else! Buyer beware! Our water heater was making a very loud noise and had ASAP come to replace the water heater. less than 2 months later and the noise starts back up again. If you visit their website they state they "go above and beyond to exceed expectations by resolving the issue the first time around", but this did not seem to be the case. At least like their site says they "warranty all of [their] work so there are no hassles or gimmicks" when needing a repair. Right? Wrong! I was VERY rudely told this 100% satisfaction guarantee ends at the 30 day mark. If anything goes wrong with their work past this point they will not come out unless you pay them to. read more

We had to get a gas furnace replaced (through the CEDA program), and ASAP was our second choice because our initial company left us hanging and cancelled a few hours before the assessment - after a 6-day waiting period for the appointment. However, ASAP should have been our FIRST choice. They were able to confirm an appointment within a few hours of the phone call, and showed up the next day early in the morning. Once the final approval was in place by CEDA, we were able to get an appointment for the install just 2 days later. Greg and TJ did a phenomenal job. The place they had to work in was very small, but they got the furnace successfully installed before 4 pm. They were on time, professional, efficient and mindful of our cat. ASAP did a great job replacing my furnace. The 2 workers were polite, kind, courteous and respectful of me while on work calls and not using loud equipment during that time. Since a new furnace installation was not available immediately, I waited a week for one to get installed and this was in December when temperatures are quite cold. ASAP went above and beyond to deliver me 3 space heaters to keep me warm until my new furnace was installed, which helped me tremendously! That extra step was so kind and much appreciated. I am livid. We had an emergency situation, and they were quick to come out. Unfortunately, they left behind so much damage, and they refused to compensate us. They broke our water valve, and left a leak on our basement floor, which affected our finished side as well. There was a disgusting sludge in our shower, and we were told to "flush it" back down the drain. But how can we do that if we had no water. we called the company, and were told they had "good work ethics". But basically , they left us in a lurch. I do not recommend. read more

My HVAC stopped working and contacted Ohla and Alex. They are both very kind and friendly. I explained what was going on and they squeezed me in, even though they were completely booked. The technicians were very professional and had gloves and masks. They were fast, efficient and hardworking. They showed me what went wrong and what the next steps were. Toilet was backed up and someone recommended ASAP. $450 to get the pipes cleared (rodded) and a month later I am having the same problems...this time "I have to figure it out myself". They wouldn't come back and help without charging me again. I don't think what they did fully cleared the pipes so this should be done without another charge, right??? 1 month!!! After noticing a leak in our basement, I called and spoke to someone who walked me through the likely causes and fixes. Within minutes, I was able to setup an appointment and techs arrived the next day. They were extremely knowledgeable, clearly understood the issues and walked me through the entire repair process. Within a few hours, the leak that several other companies have tried to fix with "shortcuts" or "patches" was professionally resolved with experts. My water heater died and began to leak down to the neighbors below. On Tuesday afternoon I was visited by an engineer who identified the issue, reduced the leak and arranged for customer service to reach me for follow up. I was able to schedule an installation for the following morning within 10 minutes of the engineer leaving. On Wednesday, the team arrived armed with everything: drop cloths, face masks, work gloves, welding materials, miscellaneous parts needed to hook up my gas and water to my new tank, etc. the team was on time, clean, very courteous and abided to all of today's social distancing rules. Does this thing have 6 Stars? I called ASAP in a state of emergency as I realized my water heater leaking! They were here within an hour, and they were the THIRD place I called! The first two didn't even call me back! They quickly drained the water heater to avoid further damage and presented several different water heater options before they installed it the same day. Our hot water heater recently went on my wife and I. We called around a few places and got various estimates that were shockingly high. I did some research on Yelp for a few places close to our home in Glenview that had some favorable reviews. The one that I read for ASAP Plumbing stood out because it mentioned fairness in price, great workmanship, and great follow up customer service. They also mentioned how they went out of their way to clean up around the work area. There estimate was just a little above the lowest estimate, but I wanted to give them a chance because they were close to our home and had some great comments in their Yelp review. I must say, they did not disappoint. They were everything the review that I read said they would be. I met with Alex and he thoroughly walked me through what to expect from the repairs, how much it would cost, how much time it should take ect. I was working from my home office during the day while they were replacing the water heater. He was so respectful, that he would text me to make sure I was free when he needed to talk to me. Everything was completed in just the amount of time he said it would. Then without me saying anything, they started cleaning up the garage floor around their work area. And they left the place cleaner than when they came. Then lastly 1 -2 days later, he called us back to check on us to see if there were any issues. Great job! I hope that I can write a review which does this company justice. Five stars just does not seem enough. ASAP came out today, on time, after I called them yesterday about my air-conditioner. We had a major problem in my 59 unit condo building where the air conditioning units were not numbered correctly by the building management. ASAP handled this situation with the utmost professionalism and grace. Because of where my unit was located they had to shlep over 20 buckets of water around to the other side of the building. They got my unit up and running and to say that the price was extremely reasonable would be a major understatement. Both the guys in the office and the two men who were doing the work Kept me continuously updated about what was going on.
