    Chicken orzo mushy stuff
    Molly M.

Great location but ... Bought soup at the festival. They would only sell a large container. Was chicken orzo. More like smelly chicken mush. Honestly the worst soup I've ever smelled or attempted to eat in my life. My friend smell it and gaged. Brought it home dumped in a collider to see what was lurking in the bottom of the 4 4 inches of chicken fat. I had to toss it the smell was just evil. Worst $14.00 I spent in 2023 I hope it's not always like this maybe they were trying to dump old soup that day. Sorry for the really bad review.

If you're looking for all day breakfast & lunch spot with traditional "beach town vibes" then look no further than Asbury Kitchen! This vibrant & welcoming restaurant is the perfect beach restaurant with yellow shiplap walls & nautical decorations, what's not to love! I ordered their smoked salmon savory crêpe & let me tell you... best savory crêpe I've ever eaten!!! The staff was warm, welcoming, & very hospitable & their kitchen was like a well oiled machine! They also offer a Gluten Free menu as well! They also do take out, catering, & private parties! There literally is something here for every palate! You won't be disappointed! Cheers!

    Egg white scramble

We got takeout yesterday and we were pretty disappointed. The Crabby Benedict had very little flavor and the hollandaise was so watery you couldn't even taste it. The Egg White Scramble looked like it had been cooked in a rush, lacked any kind of seasoning, and was missing the tomatoes (accompanied muffin was also missing peanut butter). I hope this is just an off-season anomaly.

Gluten free pancakes. Supposed to be with fresh strawberries & whipped cream, but the strawberries were cooked into the pancake.

Well definitely not Arlene's !!! The waitress was very nice. I ordered gluten free pancakes with strawberries and my mom ordered eggs benedict with pork roll. My pancakes were thick & very dry, and the strawberries were cooked into the pancakes...first time I've seen that done. The eggs benedict, the eggs were cooked perfect but the hollandaise sauce was like water, runny and ice cold, and no taste. Arlene's was such a nice family owned place & I enjoyed eating at and could eat at (I have celiac) every year for the past 7 yrs. I didn't know they had closed. Very sad to say the least. I hope this new place makes it. But, can't say I'll be back.

The food is really good, especially the breakfast tacos, but the service needs to be improved. Hopefully by this summer they can continue to make necessary changes and improvements as my parents and I love going there- but HATE the wait once we order. One of the owners nieces (I believe) we had as our server and we couldn't say enough nice things about her. So sweet and accommodating, a great server on their staff!

Service was not great. Taste and quality of food was very poor. It can't compare to the previous restaurant that was in this location.

I walked into Bakeria two days ago, intending to treat myself to one of their amazing artisan slices of pizza. But in case below the counter was a stack of beautiful seeded baguettes, hot out of the oven and longer than my arm! Disclaimer: I am a lifelong baguette hound, travel to Italy and France frequently enough, and consider myself a baguette connoisseur if you will. So it took too long bags, one on each end, two in case this baguette which smelled like a dream, and I will admit that I was a bit taken back when the cashier asked for $10, which is the most I have ever paid for baguette in all of my life, but knowing that these sell out every day, I was not gonna walk away at that point! All I can tell you is this is by far the best baguette I have ever had in America or Europe: wonderful sourdough, perfectly texture crust covered with lightly toasted sesame seeds, and a moist soft chewy interior that is pure bliss. Buy this baguette! I promise you that it will be a memorable experience!P! And the 10 bucks? I have to be totally honest: I was dreaming about this baguette and wouldn't hesitate to go back tomorrow for another one, it was so worth it!

We ordered French toast, the breakfast burrito, short rib toast and a grilled chicken wrap. The fresh squeezed orange juice is a must, I would go everyday just for that alone. My waitress recommended the short rib and I loved it. The breakfast burrito was also really good though I wish it had bacon instead of chorizo but that just personal preference. My sister isn't a breakfast person and she liked her grilled chicken wrap. And we all shared the French toast which was good as well. As a girl from Pittsburgh, I also loved that they had Heinz ketchup. The staff was great. It was busy the whole time we were there. We will definitely be going back.

Manco does not have grated cheese to put on top of our $43+ pizza. We phoned Manco just before departing for Manco and we were told there was no wait. We are staying 2 blocks away. The wait line went out to the entire width of the boardwalk. Why do they lie? Our table was ready when we arrived. There were guests sitting both on the screened in patio and inside, but I'm surprised it wasn't more crowded being in the middle of Summer. Since OC is a dry town, Cousin's is not BYO. It would have been nice to have a glass of wine with dinner but the entire experience was exceptional from the service to the food. We started with 3 appetizer samplers to split between the table. Each order came with 2 of the following: crab stuffed mushrooms, clams casino, and clams Las Vegas (clams topped with lump crab, the consensus favorite!!). After ordering our entrees our server brought out a large salad bowl for the table with a generous amount of salad topped with their famous honey Dijon vinaigrette. One of the best salad dressings I've ever had! They bottle and sell their dressing for guests to purchase. As our entrees started coming out we could not believe the portion sizes. I had mussels in red and the whole dish was delicious. Mounds of mussels overtop of an almost never ending bed of linguine (which their menu says is imported). The bread served with dinner was great to use to dip in the gravy. My fiancé and her mom ordered clams in white over linguine which they also loved. My fiancés sister had the Cousin's Special in white served with shrimp, scallops, crab, and clams over linguine. I wasn't able to get pictures of anyone else's meals as they were all on the other end of the table but everyone enjoyed their dinners. Everybody but me had leftovers to take home. I overindulged but it was worth it. This was my first time at Cousin's and my fiancé's family's first time back in years. We were all so pleased with our experience that I'm sure we'll be back next summer while we're on vacation in Ocean City.
