The studio is so cute and well decorated! I love the exposed brick and how spacious It is! I booked an appointment with Lorinda (she recently started working at this salon). She is the absolute sweetest and does a good job making sure your appointment starts on time. She did my big chop in July and gives me tips on how to keep my hair moisturized and growing! She never pressures me to flat iron It and accepts any and all instagram ideas I send to her. She is the sweetest and I'll def. keep coming back! 4/5 stars because the hair dryers aren't the overhead ones so I always feel like I need to shower and change my shirt once I get out lol. Tip: Parking in Noda is a little rough so factor in parking time. read more

Located in NoDa! My stylist was Jess! She focuses on creative and trendy hairstyles and color! Jess created the most beautiful RED that looks terrific on me and it's so silky soft and shiney! I have received compliments everywhere I go! It's a great feeling and I'm very satisfied! No matter what I ask to have done to my hair, she always does a great job every time! Jess is the best in charlotte. Hands down. I have know her for more than 4 years and have followed her everywhere she goes. There is a sense of ease in her style that makes you relax and I trust her because she knows her skill very well. It's hard to get on her calendar so it's good to book early. I'm a regular at this salon, I've been going to Ashleigh since 2015. She's super amazing and really cares about the health of your hair and the salon itself is gorgeous. When Ashleigh is booked I used to make appointments with other stylist there who were trained by her, but I had a bad trim with one and a style that took my edges with another (my gym trainer at the time said the same thing happened when another client of hers got the same "protective" style from this stylist) They no longer work there but from these experiences I exclusively just go to Ashleigh and will do my hair myself on weeks I can't make it there. I support her fully, I've went to her product release event and grand opening of second salon in Gastonia (though it's no longer open I would travel there to get my hair done when she was there though it was a much further commute) I buy and use all her products, have had her make clips in for me and purchase my extensions through her when I get sew-ins, best quality hair I've ever purchased. It can be a task to make an appointment sometimes so I usually make my next when I am there. 100% recommended! read more

Jess is the best stylist and color expert I've ever had. She talked me through the whole process and explained exactly what she was doing. Her personality is energetic and makes the whole experience so much better! It does take a few hours to complete the whole process of highlights and a cut but it's 100% worth it in the end! read more

Biggest waste of $200. Went to get full brown highlights for my wedding. Got there 15 minutes early for my 1pm appointment because I didn't want my card charged if I was late. Didn't get moved to the chair until 2pm, then actual coloring not until 2:30pm. Diarra colored then styled with bouncy curls. It all looked great when I left as all the colors blended together and the roots weren't showing with that curled hairstyle. It wasn't until I straightened it that I could see every detail. My old blondes were still there, some with my black roots, some with orange tops. The new color highlights are all different shades, but the orange ones are most noticeable at the top. Asked several times to please have the owner consider partially refunding my card, at least to get the top fixed by a seasoned professional who I trust to do it right as I don't have to time to have my hair experimented on weeks before my wedding. Almost 15 years of getting my hair highlighted, and I've never wasted this much money or had my hair come out this messy. read more

Buyer Beware!!!! I went to get lace frontal done and the stylist Diarra claimed that she could do it for me. I assured her that it was for my wedding day. While doing the install she got frustrated and told me she wasn't going to charge me ... then proceed to charge me $95.00 and left my hair looking a mess. I now have to buy more hair and find another stylist. Honesty is the best policy, If you cant do it just say so. We could of worked out other styles instead of adding to my list of $$$$$$. In all I spent $95.00 to put a hat on my head until I can find another stylist but now I don't know if I can trust anyone to do my hair. read more
