I've heard about Ashley Mac's from some coworkers of mine so decided to check them out. We went on a weekday during lunchtime and it was slightly busy. We noticed that they had two cashiers, but no one to attend to cleaning the tables. The restaurant is big and bright and there is plenty of seating. I noticed the other cashier had to leave to take orders out to the customers which caused a line to form. Nonetheless, I ordered the Lemon Rosemary Chicken which came with a side of rice and a sour cream biscuit. I added a side of chopped BLT salad with ranch and for an extra fee, I added a side of pasta salad. The food was really good. It was seasoned properly. I do wish the food temperature would have been a little higher, but other than that, it was delicious. The chicken and rice were moist and the salad was great. I will add that it comes with a lot of blue cheese... a little too much based on the size of the side salad. I will definitely get that on the side if I order this salad again. The biscuit is addictive.. it literally just melts in your mouth. I can eat an entire bag of those. And the pasta salad was very creamy and delicious as well. For the price of this meal, it was a lot of food so you can't beat that either. I definitely enjoyed my visit and highly recommend. One of the cleanest restaurants around. Already a plus in my book. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside (it's huge). You walk in and all the freshly pre-prepared meals are located in the fridges on the side. So many choices, and although I dined in, I heard that the lemon poppyseed chicken is a must try! I came for lunch and had the chicken club with a side of pasta salad. The price is more than reasonable, coming in under 10 bucks. The sandwich had a lot of chicken and other ingredients so it's filling and delicious. I thought the pasta salad could've had a little less salt. It was too salty today, but maybe that changes. By the time I got there, they had run out of pb cookies, but I was able to have a brownie. Soft in the middle but the edges were too crunchy. I'd get another though! Ashley Mac's has been wonderful at every location since the day she began this restaurant business. Everything you order to eat inside the place is delicious and the multiple options you have to take out of the freezer to take home and warm up are super delicious too. The vibe inside is so nice and feels like you're in a fancy restaurant even though I've walked in with a tshirt and shorts and just a comfortable place. Ordered a pimento cheese BLT without the pimento cheese on white toast. Asked for mayo on both sides of the bread but was told that they do not put mayo on; packets are available at the drink counter. This is a a great place to eat lunch or get frozen dinners. The poppyseed chicken you cannot go wrong with. It is rich and creamy. I've had it to go and just ordered the frozen entree during this virus crisis. They are running a special is you spent $100 they will deliver to you...depending on area. We got beef strognaff, mac n cheese, tomato basil soup, white chicken chili and poppyseed chicken. Everything was so delicious and we also received an insulated bag. Hadn't been here for quite some time. Hubby and I wanted to eat lunch and it wasn't 11 am yet so we had a hard time finding an open place but saw that Ashley Mac's opened at 1030 so we decided to go there. I'm really glad we did! I decided to try the Turkey Havarti. It was like a grinder with the cheese all melty and delicious. There were also thin slices of apple on it. It was a great sandwich. I have a feeling I'll be back just to get that sandwich again! I kind of wanted to try the creamy chicken noodle sandwich and was told I could get that as a side for an upcharge of 1.50 so I decided to do that. It was a little bland for me so I didn't love it but there were nice big pieces of chicken in it. My sandwich filled me up anyway so I just didn't finish the soup. I did have to ask them to heat my soup up because it was less than hot which didn't bother me because they had just opened so the soup probably didn't have time to heat up yet. However, they gave my husband and I free brownies for the inconvenience. I thought that was really nice. Brownies were fantastic. Moist, chocolatey, and had chocolate chips in them. Delicious! I do want to come back and try some of their frozen foods now that we bought a stand alone freezer and I have more room. They have a lot to choose from! read more

Ashley Macs is out go-to when we're in the area! We love the quick service and when we call in to place an order we're able to pay quickly and pick it up on the to go rack. My favorite lunch is the Baby Blu salad with a scoop of chicken salad on top! My husband loves the chicken salad melt with the pasta salad on the side. Another awesome perk is their gourmet to go section! We always come by and grab a casserole right two and a few sides when going out of town to make for a easy meal when traveling. They are frozen so keep well in the cooler or freezer for a busy weeknight. We personally love the Poppyseed Chicken and Chicken Tetrazzini and for sides the green beans, cheese grits, and squash casserole. and of COURSE a batch of the sour cream biscuits (make sure to order an extra one of these with your meal whenever you come!). We also took advantage of their Valentines package this year! It included four crab cakes, sauce, green bean side, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and two slices of cake. It was the perfect spread and so easy to prepare for a easy evening. They also do something similar to this for Easter, Mother's Day, etc. Make sure to take advantage of their seasonal items as well! read more

We have gone to A Mac's for several large orders of to go dinners during this COVID era of to go food brought home for dining. The online ordering process is super easy. The people are always super nice when I pick up my order. I just make a call when I get there and either tell them where I am parked or they tell me to pull up to the front. Every time someone has brought my order out to me very quickly. We have never had any items missing and the order is always very nicely packaged for the trip home. Our number one favorite item is the brown sugar green beans. We usually get several orders of that and we got a really big one for Christmas dinner! It is the perfect bit of sweetness for the green beans and they still have a good crunch to them! Our other favorite dishes are the sour cream biscuits, beef stroganoff, and chicken with wild rice. We bought a really big family meal for Christmas so we didnt have so much clean up and cooking time after having just done that whole dog and pony show for Thanksgiving We will be back soon and we always recommend to friends! read more

Over rated. I rarely leave any ratings unless something is truly amazing and or horrible. So for me yes the strawberry cake is amazing. Is it worth the price....? I'm on the fence. And I love strawberry cake. It's my favorite. What I'm struggling with is the prices for their food items vs the amount & quality of my meal. I had chicken salad on a croissant with Mac & Cheese. My croissant was very dry as well as the chicken salad itself. I kept having to try smaller bites and picked the food out of the roll and drank a lot of water. The mac and cheese had reached a cold congealed state and I didn't even want to attempt it. Music was reminiscent of elevator music and almost every other patron were in their mid 60s. I also waited a very long time for my food to be served. I love strawberry cake and I really hate leaving this type of review. But I'm always gonna be honest. read more

I don't get down this way often for lunch but I think I might have to find a reason to. I had the Pimento Cheese BLT with Greek Pasta Salad. Both were excellent and I would like to come back and try some of the other sandwich choices and desserts. It started to get crowded as I was finishing, so the earlier the better I think. Parking might be a bit of an issue at peak times however I had no problems. read more

I got some mini cupcakes for my sister's birthday from here the other day. The strawberry ones are the best. I love a cream cheese frosting. But I got an assorted just in case others aren't as passionate about it. This place was immaculately clean. The staff was super sweet. It made me sad to see the place empty but I came in late in the day during a football Saturday so it made sense. I noticed tons of precooked frozen meals in their massive fridge/freezer open to customers to pick and choose what they want. I may have to come back and stock up when I don't want to cook one week. They had a bunch of Thanksgiving items since it is November. Back to the cupcakes. I've had them before and the ones I had were delectable. My sister told me the ones I gave her were a bit dry. Not bad but could have been more moist. Prices here seemed fair considering you were getting "gourmet" style goods. The mini dozen assorted were about $12 with tax. Perfect for a child's bday party in the class, showers and personal gifts. I'd love to come back and have lunch here one day. Thanks for the great costumer service. read more

In celebration for the Master's tournament this year I swung by and picked up the to go chicken salad and pimento cheese. Let's just say the food was as smooth as Dustin Johnson's back swing. In rare occasion I ordered the cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving in advance. The Large size is plenty enough for 6-8 people. Directions are super easy to follow in case you aren't a master chef. There's very minimal seating inside. They do have a lovely, spacious patio that also feels like a garden with plenty of trees for shade. However, they make it clear they don't want dogs there. Parking was horrific. A narrow street with cars on each side. We barely fit through it. If there wouldn't have been an open spot on it, I'm not sure what the next option is because I didn't see anywhere else and this street only held so many. I would dine here again because the sandwiches were fresh and delicious and they obviously know what they're doing! I was pleasantly surprised that they had prosecco as well. Just heed my few warnings and you'll enjoy as well!

What a disappointment. So I went to Publix and got a full sub for under $10!
