Do Not Purchase Here! I bought a sectional sofa set in early October and still have not received all my pieces and each time I call to check the status on the delivery they push it back a month. When I made my cash purchase, I was assured it would take at the longest 4-6 weeks due to COVID. Seems like it's more 4-6 months! What really sucks is that they have a No Return policy, so yea I'm stuck with two pieces of a sectional that don't connect and not only look hideous in my living room but does not fit my whole family so half of us are still sitting on the floor! Alex was a great salesman. Great service upfront, terrible service following through. I spent $3K on a couch that I was ensured would be delivered the next week all together, and got 30% of the couch and was told to expect the remaining to come the following week. 2 weeks later... I have had to reschedule the delivery 3+ times because of "warehouse issues". Instead of being informed our couch was late, I had to call the company to confirm the delivery which was delayed and never going to come. I have reached out to multiple customer service agents, and been told "speak to the local manager" who is not available until Saturday at 1pm? Nobody from Ashley furniture is equipped with the proper knowledge to effectively assist with one-off issues that may arise. In fact, I have not yet spoken to one customer service agent, sales associate, manager, etc. at this point that has had the decency to express even the slightest bit of concern for any issues that I have had thus far. The lack of general care has been the most upsetting part of this experience. read more

This place is really city furniture behind the scenes- I will try and be as brief as possible - I strongly suggest shopping somewhere else. 4 out of the 11 pieces were damaged, 1 was missing. One month later we are still trying to resolve. It will take another 2 weeks to resolve they say. They keep making mistakes and we keep having to correct and guide them. Even two pieces we went to pick up ourselves were damaged, they never inspected them. The delivery people bring and take only what they want, not what the order says. My husband and I got a sectional in January, the couch broke within a couple weeks, we reached out to Ashleys and they said they would send someone to make sure it was broken within 48 hours; the tec came 2 weeks later and said it was indeed broken and that we would be contacted within the next 48 hours to schedule a delivery time for the replacement. To make this review as short as I can 2 and a half months later and god knows how many calls we made trying to get this sorted and getting the same response "sorry someone will call you in the next 48 hours to schedule the delivery" we finally get a delivery date, well surprise! Ashley delivered the wrong sectional; at this point we were done with Ashley Furniture and asked them to pick up the sectional and refund the money, it took Ashley another 2 months and at least 10 calls getting the usual "someone will contact you within 48 hours to schedule a pick up time" til they came and took their broken couch, to this date we still havent recieved a full refund; needless to say I am never ever buying anything from them again not even a decorative pillow. Don't waste your time, poor quality and horrible costumer support. read more

Don't buy anything from Ashley. Their customer service is pathetic. They have no empathy with customers. I received one of my orders quite late and it is defective. Called at customer line and after being on hold for 30 mins, it was disconnected. Tried again, this time a very rude rep told me to wait for 5 to 7 business days to hear back from the their vendor about what can be done on this matter. Sorry Ashey, first of all, I didn't buy the item from your vendor, and secondary after waiting of more than 2 weeks, if I am getting a defective item then there should be better and quick way to fix it. I recently bought lamps for my bedroom. They came and I love them. Then about 10 days later I received an email and thought nothing of it. Then another day later, my account was debited $123.19. I didn't order another set of lamps and tried calling customer service. I have spent over 4 hours sitting on hold waiting to get through with no avail. I tried emailing them and received a response saying they don't use email. So I tried there "message us" system, well let's say that got me no where. I called one of the stores and they sent an email to customer service...NOTHING!!! Today I decided to go into their showroom. Come to find out the brick Stores are completely separate from the online store & cant take returns. Come to find out Ashley Furniture building stores are owned & operated by Furniture Mart. 2 weeks later I still have the lamps & they have my money. I am not happy and will never buy through their online store & most likely not shop any Ashley Stores. I purchased an entire living room set on July 10, 2020 with a delivery date in 3 months. After that date in October passed we were given a date of November 27th. Got a call today saying JANUARY 12, 2021. I could have ordered custom furniture in that time. Very very VERY disappointed and frustrated. We did get a full refund from them today but they had our money for almost 5 months, interest free, and zero results from it. Very dissatisfied. If you want furniture in a reasonable amount of time, this is not the place for you. read more

We have tried desparately to reach someone to resolve our issue with a mattress we purchased. The mattress was purchased online. We more than followed the directions on the package by leaving the mattress flat for 3 days, (pkg said 48 hrs) to properly inflate. We tried to call Ashley several days to be on hold for more than an hour. Almost two weeks later the mattress is still yet to inflate right. No response from Ashley from our call or online request via their website. Never again will we deal with Ashley Furniture. read more

ONLY wish I could give them ZERO stars.....ordered a batch of furniture for my daughters Apartment out of town. Ordered weeks in advance to ensure it would be there when I went up to help her set up and of course, the day before, I was told one item (dining table) was on back order. (like they did not know it when the order was placed 3 weeks in advance) I let it go and was told that they would call me the day after the rest of the items were delivered. No call was received so 4 days later I called them. After 35 minutes on hold some dude who was asleep or something told me to talk to the Delivery line and there we go with another 20 minutes on hold.....they then tell me they don't know when it will be in and will "call me when it does". They are great until they have your money. Then forget sbout getting any help. I started calling on Thursday trying to find out about a delivery I was supposed to get on Saturday. The 877 number zero help! I was on hold multiple times for more than 20 minutes vefore I gave up. When I finally got a person they told me I needed to contact the store. Only thing is, noone answers the phone. I have left multiple messages but no return call. Called the salesperson - same thing - no response. Text message - still no response. Today I tried the online chat system. After 40 minutes, still no help. I was 'transferred to another department '. Right....as in nowhere. Finally got a message apologizing for long wait time. Jacob was an EXCELLENT sales person. However, customer service was a nightmare. First of all, my recliner was badly damaged when it was delivered. The left side was completely off its track. The delivery men noticed, but all one did was shake his head and say, "Oh well." I called customer service and asked for a replacement. I sent photos of the damage as the service represe4ntattive requested, then waited for someone to call me back. I called another two times without getting a decent response. At this juncture, I realized I wouldn't be getting a replacement chair any time soon, so asked for a repair. The repair was done quickly, however, the chair leans to the left. I know that if I ask for a replacement again, I'll get the same irresponsible response. I also realized that the chair I'd tested when I went to the store was much better built than the one that was delivered. Bait and switch is NOT a fair practice. Mine looks exactly the same, but th4e arm stuffing is shoddy and the chair isn't as sturdy. It was "odd" that, when I went to pay for the chair a few days later I was told that it had been "sold." I wanted to sit in it again before I made my final decision. It's said that we all learn our lessons the hard way. I certainly did and will never purchase from Ashley again. read more

Ready for this update! Two and a half weeks later and I still do not have our dresser. I spoke with an escalation manager the day after I left my original review in October and was promised up and down that I would get my dresser delivered on November 6th. That was the earliest they could deliver it but it would be delivered. We called on Monday November 4th to confirm that the 6th would still be the date of delivery and the rep confirmed that it would be delivered on November 6th. Sooo another day requested off from work to stay home for a delivery today and wouldn't you know it....the dresser will not be coming today. We just got off the phone with Ashley and found out that the delivery date was changed. We did not get a phone call about this, we did not get an email or any update and yet another day of missed work for something to not be delivered. Apparently now the earliest delivery is November 11th (another week day). I can absolutely say this has been the worst experience with any furniture company or just customer service in general. We are extremely upset, frustrated and didn't even get our delivery refunded. At this point I would never recommend a purchase from Ashley Furniture. read more

Well, THANK YOU Ashley Furniture for an absolualtly horrible experience. I purchased a sectional, and paid for PREMIYM DELIVERY. The 3rd party delivery company you contracted was rude and lazy. When they arrived at my home they busted up the front door, then looked up my stairs and said "won't fit" turned around and walked out. Mind you my 20 yr old daughter and I moved the furniture we gave away for the new set. It was larger than the sectional I purchased!! We moved it down the stairs, out the front door, and into the back of the truck for the lady we gave it to. Your rude/lazy delivery company didn't even measure. They left with out me signing anything, or even saying what was going on. THEN HOURS on the phone (over to try to fix their delivery issue. Ashley could care less. Now we have no living room furniture, and we have just been put on a "STAY AT HOME" order by the state due to Cover-19. My kids really appreciate setting on the floor watching TV. Actually none of us appreciate this situation. This is by far the most horrible experience I have ever had with a retailer. OH AND YOU CHARGED ME FOR THE SECTIONAL AND PREMIUM DELIVERY. Ashley's Furniture was once a great place to shop furniture. I was disappointed on my last visit where I was left to make several visits to the store for order updates. I'll keep it short and just advise to read the reviews and be prepared for the same treatment . The purchase transactions run smooth but come delivery scheduling or updates from staff to simple refund requests become a f***** nightmare. I've shopped at this location for a few years and have never experienced anything less than great customer service and quality furniture. My last visit was a few weeks ago to buy a few items for an upstairs guest room. Upon entering, Jacob Nelson greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. I briefly explained to him what I was looking for and the amount I planned on spending. He took the time to point me in the right direction and made suggestions to decorate the room without going over my budget. This is not the first time Jacob went out of his way to assist me. I went to Ashley to purchase a sofa, and the first thing I said to the saleswoman was that I had a narrow entry and gave her the measurements of my doorway. She brushed this information off and said that the delivery people would "make it fit". On the day of delivery they gave it a couple tries and could not, in fact, make it fit. The woman from customer service could not have been less helpful, and acted as if dealing with my situation was an inconvenience. She also said I would be paying for delivery regardless of the fact that I had gone to the store with measurements and was given misinformation. These salespeople are just there to make a sale, and do not care about the end result. Very unhappy with my purchase, will not be dealing with Ashley in the future. read more

Received a bed from Ashley a week ago, and still have not received the corrected parts for the bed frame. I left my number in the Que to be called back, and never received a call from Ashley Furniture. I have spoken with Antoinette who connected me to Franklin, and in the middle of speaking to Franklin trying to get the issue resolved, a recording came on asking me to rate Ashley Furniture, and abruptly ended the call. I called back to stay on hold for another 30 minutes, mind you it's 2 1/2 hours later now that I've been hung up on, and I keep trying to reach someone. I then spoke with Nicollette who advised she left Franklin a message to give me a call back, and she gave me his number supposedly. I called the number and got a recording for a wrong number. Whewwww, these folks!!! All I need is 2 bedframe brackets Ashley Furniture, the opposite of what I received, so I can put this bed up. Ashley Furniture is by far the worse furniture store I have dealt with in all my 48 years. Is it that hard and difficult to send what was not sent in the delivery? 2 bedframe brackets to the bedframe, that's it!! I even tried the online chat, Sweet Jesus, that's even worse. They put me on hold, and said they had higher than normal chat volumes. Whattttt? They never came back to the chat. Ashley Furniture, please give your staff an 8 hour customer service training. We purchased the "durablend" leather couches. After about 18 months they started peeling horribly. We contacted Ashley and they stated it was a defect in the material. Of course it wasn't covered under warranty. Last time I ever shop with them. I won't purchase products from companies that don't stand behind their quality. Thanks for screwing up a very simple delivery. Spent over 3k on a mattress. Confirmed address multiple times over phone and in person. Ends up on the wrong truck going to a different area in the tri-state. Completely unacceptable and nobody could give a shit over the phone except refund me my delivery fee. So went into Ashley's and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful but one person stood out from the rest and that was Lee Dobbins. Lee was an excellent service representative who helped me figured out exactly what I was looking for. What I like most about him was he didn't push or pressure me to buy anything. Everything just flowed and the shopping process became very easy and very less stressful. I did not feel pressured to buy anything nor did I feel like salespeople were lurking around corners ready to pounce but they were readily available for any questions I did have. I do have to say though DO NOT BUY Ashley HomeStore 's insurance, it's a SCAM! When it comes time to have a repair or replacement made they give you a number to contact their third party merchant, TriCounty Furniture, to handle the claim. Low and behold, TriCounty furniture does not show up... not once, not twice, but three missed appointments where they give you a window of 3 hours to wait for them! First appointment I was 38 weeks pregnant and had a window from 1-4 and had to move a Dr's appointment to accommodate the first no show... 10 mins to 4 I received a call that the technician was having vehicle trouble. Reschedule. 2nd appointment I now had a newborn and received a window of 4-7 pm ...at 20 to 7 I received a call that the technician was running 45 mins behind schedule and would be at my house around 7:45pm.... no show. 3rd appointment the 2:45-5:45 window came and went with no call at all and at 6pm when I called the girl said, "oh, he'll be there in 2 minutes." No show. AND I receive an email "Dear Protection Plan Customer: Following your service appointment, our professional technician has provided us with a report on the inspection/service performed. We will process the report within the next 5 business days and notify you of any additional service steps, if applicable. Sincerely, Customer Service Center" THE TECHNICIAN NEVER CAME!!! read more

Two pieces of our couch have been broken for almost a year, they re-ordered the parts, scheduled for delivery couple months ago just to not show up. Second time we were scheduled for delivery they didn't show up, because one of the two parts was delivered broken. We were like okay, happens. Today, third time my husband took off work to be here for delivery, threw out the two broken parts of the couch because we were finally receiving the parts, just to receive a call that they AGAIN are not coming because AGAIN one of the two parts is broken. How do you tell costumers the same lie twice?! At least deliver the one part of the couch that is okay. Not even the curtesy to call to let us know in advance so we would not make arrangements to throw out the couch and taking vacation time to be here. Now we are sitting on a half couch (see picture)!! Worst service ever!! And then they would not even give out an email address or name from the manager. That right there tells the whole story! read more

I buy a lot of furniture from Ashley but not anymore. I just had the worse experience ever!! I ordered furniture to be delivered on Thursday that didn't come until Friday. When I called to ask about the delay, I couldn't get a straight answer. Then today the delivery driver went to the wrong gate and when I tried to tell him to go to the right gate, he refused and then tells the dispatch he couldn't reach us when I spoke with him 3 times via phone and tried to get him to drive to the correct gate. The dispatch team even called this man while placing me on hold and he didn't answer. He leaves stating I wasn't there which was a lie. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! So I then called Ashley to cancel the order and waited on the phone for 31:26 to speak to someone. The rep then tells me she has to get approval from delivery that the furniture wasn't delivered before she can cancel. That doesn't even make sense. I insisted she call and get clearance that day and wait on the phone just like I waited. I'm not waiting to get a refund! Stay away from this company. This incident has caused me to go elsewhere for my furniture needs. Customer service is key for me and I'll pay more for good customer service. This delivery company needs to be fired. Because of his poor service a disabled individual suffered. read more
