The warehouse delivered my furniture on the 23rd of January, I was missing a barstool, I called immediately and they said someone would get back to me in 3 hours about getting me the barstool I paid for. It is now February 3rd and I have talked to 10 different people and still have no barstool and no delivery date because no one from the warehouse ever calls me back like the representatives and supervisors have told me someone would. read more

If i could give this store a negative one , i would ! Absolutely horrible experience and still haven't received half of my stuff . First delivery was supposed to be June 29, a month after purchase . Well on June 29 i go there and was told by the store supervisor that the sales woman told me the wrong date . Okay , so i say when is the next shipment , they said July 13. I run to home furniture and find better priced sofa set . Go back to Ashley's and tell them i want to cancel my sofas and they tell me "okay but it will further prolong your delivery on the stuff that is available " . They kept telling me everything is available and now it's another delivery date after anothe , we'll today is July 14 and still no delivery . All I'm hearing is " I'm sorrry" well st this point I'm on the way to the store to cancel the rest of my order. The store needs to be closed down permanently !! read more

A piece of my order was damaged prior to delivery so I received half of my order. When I was scheduled to receive the final piece, no one showed up even though I confirmed the delivery. No one called to let me know. I called the store to set up another delivery time. I received a confirmation for a date that I didn't agree to during this call. Then when it was finally delivered...it was the wrong item. After days of multiple phone calls up to corporate offices (since my local store is closed during COVID-19), I found out that the sales associate in this store ordered the wrong piece of furniture. During this process (that took over a month), I emailed Ashley twice (no response), attempted the text service with no response, and called and spoke with two corporate workers and finally a corporate manager. I signed paperwork stating my availability and cooperation and the potential for additional fees if I was not available at the time of confirmed delivery. I held those standards. Sadly, Ashley did not hold themselves to their own professional standards within this paperwork. I am understanding of troubles know many times things are not within our control...While the furniture at Ashley is nice, to me it is not worth what we've gone through to still not receive the item that I purchased months ago and seemed so easy to deliver to my home. 12 weeks later after being told 2-3 weeks and having a 'scheduled delivery date' that was never actually scheduled... got rid of beds in anticipation of delivery the next day, now my children are sleeping on the floor until an undetermined date and Ashley has been no help in resolving the issue. I've wasted hours of my life on hold and talking to people that tell me more lies. I would NEVER purchase from Ashley again. Experience in the store was great - actually receiving the furniture I paid for in full in April... that's another story. read more

I placed an order for a few items including a box spring which was promised to be delivered on 12/14. I received a call on 12/13 saying the box spring was delayed to 12/23. I needed it for family coming in on 12/20. Simple fix, cancel this order and buy one in the store. Me and my boyfriend called this store at least 10 times and could not get anyone to answer the phone. We ended up calling their corporate office who tried to send us back to this store. Finally after several hours a sales person called us. Finally got the box spring cancelled but the sales manager did not seem to care if we cancelled our order. The customer service at this location is extremely poor and we will not be returning. This is incredibly disappointing since it's a brand new store. read more

Sooooo disappointed, got an apartment in. the summer, went to Ashley during the labor day sale. We told the worker that helped us our situation of having an apartment with completely no furniture in it and that I start school in August and would like my room furniture around that time. It is literally 2022, and I still haven't received one piece of furniture for my room. This has been the worst first experience of buying furniture ever. I don't understand how I haven't received not one piece of my furniture yet not even my mattress. I've started school already, and haven't even had a room... I sleep on the floor. I would have never purchased this furniture set if I wasn't in stock, the employee didn't tell us until we already purchased and signed the paperwork that it wasn't in stock and we probably wouldn't get it for 3 weeks which was fine but this shit here is ridiculous. And everytime i talk to customer service they just talk in circles like they don't know wtf they are talking about and it's like if you don't know what's going on how am i supposed to know. I just want to have a room. I have absolutely no dressers to put my clothes, nothing, I can't even buy stuff for my room because I have absolutely nothing . Today I spoke to the guest response team and they can't find the original sales order or the refund request from the Baton Rouge store. I purchased a couch and loveseat and was given a 2 week delivery date. Received a confirmation delivery text and email 2 days before scheduled delivery. I then received a phone call THE DAY BEFORE DELIVERY that the items were out of stock and it would be another 2 weeks for delivery. I canceled order since delivery was not guaranteed. If I could give this place 0 stars i would. I ordered my furniture for pick up March 11, 2021. I was told it should be at the Gonzales location by the end of April. I wasn't in too much of a rush so no big deal, called the day it was supposed to be at the store for pick up. they told me the delivery was set back and I could get it May 8, 2021. May comes and I still can't pick up my furniture. The sales lady gave me her card and told me to call if i had any questions. I tried calling and texting and she would always get back to me a few hours later and call me in an hour or two. she never did and ultimately blocked my number. June comes still no furniture. I went up there in July to figure out what was going on. i just ordered a couch and recliner??? Well they said the recliner was ready but the couch wouldn't be until October and told me i could pick out another couch. I picked another one and they told me I could get it August 6, well come to find out they ran my credit 9 times. I call August 6, still can't get my furniture. Called several times in between no luck. It has been almost a year and still no furniture. Called again last week and they cancelled my order. Never everrrr waste your time here. read more

I went to this store to purchase a bedroom set today, Labor Day. I was there for almost 3 hours with the saleslady I think she said her name was Ella. The experience left me feeling so disappointed. She told so many lies, the final lie was, "I got my Supervisor to switch box springs so you can receive your order early October". Although the truth was they didn't have the box spring in stock so they substituted it to a "nicer one." Then when I ask if maybe we could just look at a some bedroom sets that was already there in stock I could probably get it before October? She called over one of her co-workers to ask if that was possible he blew her cover by reading from her computer that the delivery date was going to be September 28th not October. She laughed and said, "I always tell my customers 2 weeks later than the date they say in case its late." The coworker then suggest that we look in the clearance department for something. After she tries to get him to verify they don't keep stock. So after spending all this time with her and she pretending to be on the Autism Spectrum, because I had my grandson with me who is Autistic. I'm not going to lie...I definitely was going to purchase something for sure. But all the lies and the "finagling" her word. I lost a lot of time, but mostly they lost a customer who appreciates not just the value of furniture, but honesty more. If I had read the reviews before going there I wouldn't have gone. read more

Buying a bedroom set furniture from Ashley almost 9 months ago now still has me frustrated and upset with the whole experience and lack of customer service. It is the worst purchase experience I have ever been through. We ordered a bedroom set early December 2019. I should have caught the red flags at the time we ordered, as they were having "computer glitches" in the store and couldn't give me an exact delivery date, although the items were listed in stock. They told me that it should be 4-6 weeks (which I was okay with at the time). WELL, each furniture piece ended up getting shipped on different days, and almost all of them were SIGNIFICANTLY delayed (months), some pieces delayed multiple times. It was so inconsiderate for me to have to arrange days off of work to accept deliveries, for them to be eventually postponed and rescheduled. I think we eventually received all of the pieces by Mid-march. I slept on a mattress on my floor while pregnant for 3 months. Not to mention on 1 occasion, my bedroom smelled like weed for the rest of the day due to the delivery guys tracking the smell in. A dresser drawer was broken on that day b/c delivery guy accidentally went through my doorway with the drawer hanging out and it broke. That piece was actually replaced and sent and my husband was able to put it together to fix it. Everything "looked" okay after bed delivery, but we noticed a few days later that we were missing one of the main support beams that go in the middle of the rails to support the bed. I called several times, and customer service is nonexistent. It is typical to hold for 15+ minutes at a time before being able to even get connected to anyone in the store/customer service. One day I finally got in touch with someone (after a very long hold), and she said she would submit the ticket to have the piece shipped to us. She didn't see where it would be a problem and should arrive in 1-2 weeks. Well, this was about 3 months ago now and have received nothing. I've called on multiple occasions to the store, but still no answer. I tried calling again today, held for 10 minutes when trying to connect with customer service, then the phone hung up. The bed will probably have complications without having a main support rod in place. I have no idea how to resolve this at this time, but very frustrated and would never recommend Ashley Furniture (Baton Rouge) to anyone. It has given us the biggest headache. I have never actually written a bad review on yelp, because typically there is some kind of resolution. I waited months because of possible delays and have been considerate of COVID-19 (which really started after all of this), but at this point, it is completely unacceptable. read more

I had no problem with the in store experience, it's the delivery and customer service I have an issue with. I have been inconvenienced due to lack of communication from Ashley. I received an email on Dec 16th to confirm delivery of my order on Dec 18th, only to not receive the order (mattress set) on the delivery date. After they didn't show within the delivery window, I called to find out what was delaying delivery. I was on hold for a long period of time only to be disconnected in the middle of the conversation with the customer service rep. The customer service rep did not call back, so I called again. During the first call the rep could not locate the order by the telephone number, so I gave her the sales order number. She then ask what delivery date and time I was given, I answered and she put me hold on while she looked into it. That's when the call was disconnected. On the second call it took the customer service rep no time to tell me the order is scheduled for Dec 22nd. I proceeded to ask why wasn't I notified as I received a confirmation email for today (Dec 18th) during the time frame. She then proceeds to say it was rescheduled because all pieces were not available. I complained about not being notified and the inconvenience it has now caused me. She was rather nonchalant, as I noted I now have to sleep on the floor or go buy an air mattress, as per the email received all old furniture must be removed and I had it picked up the even before delivery. I would like to cancel but I don't feel I should not have to pay for the inconvenience their lack of communication has caused. This company has lost future sales and I refuse to refer someone after this type of service. read more
