It's not like a Serta or Sealy, you can say those and everyone knows what those brand names are.. The Mack mattress is a clone or knock-off, but that doesn't really do it any favors. The problem is "what is a Mack Mattress?" It's a mattress that is US made in the same series line as the name brand, but.. Made better, better materials, better stitching, better internals, better colors, better textures, it's all around a better product. Then also none of the stupid tariffs, since it's made here, so it's more affordable, and a better product, so to say it's a clone or knockoff, really doesn't do it justice.. If anything it's the same colors as other brands, but a much better product. My mattresses replaced a 30 year old sealy and a 10 year old "original mattress factory" mattress, which was hot garbage. That is the mattress, but.. It's not just the mattress.. The Good: Mattresses we purchased were both incredibly well made. They were comfortable, and they have decent financing if needed. The "not great": The warranty, while hopefully not needed, if you do need it, there's a restocking fee that is in some cases is the same cost as the mattress itself. The problem with a mattress is until you sleep on it, you really can't tell if it is the best mattress for you, so you can end up wanting to exchange it, but while they offer an exchange option, it's not as good as many other brand name mattress options. I suggest you bring a set of sheets at minimal the bottom sheet, so you can tell how actual comfortable it is.. Otherwise this is a drawback of Mack Mattress. Verdict: I will buy another and will recommend them to anyone who likes to sleep comfortably, including all family members. All things considered this was a great experience..

From "we don't have any in stock" to, "no, there is no guarantee on a $129.00 product", or "there is a $99.00 delivery fee with no other option". Most stores could not even show us an example in a different size. Some sales people had a hard time describing the difference between a wood foundation to a spring foundation. At the last minute while we were on our way to neighboring Walmart, we dropped in to Sleep Outfitters with now very low expectations to find what we wanted. Low and behold, we were wrong. The salesman (on December 22 in the late afternoon, did not get his name) greeted us immediately and listened to our questions. Not only did he have an example in the store (queen size) but he explained the difference in the foundation box springs and how the warranties worked with mixed mattresses and box spring sets. We told him we have a new Sealy mattress and he stated with that combo the box spring will have a ten year warranty. Finally, we felt like we had our needs met by not only the product but the salesmanship of the salesman. Needless to say, we bought what we wanted and will be able to pick it up in the store within a few days with no additional handling charges. As we left, we complimented the salesperson on his expertise and thanked him for helping us with what should have been our first stop in the process of buying a twin size box spring for our granddaughter. The delivery men said it had been stinking up their whole truck. The second bed delivered December 18, 2019, started giving off chemical fumes the second day after delivery and the fumes and smells got worse and worse and worse as time went by. Customer Service refused to do anything about my complaint for weeks but finally picked up the bed three weeks after delivery. The delivery men agreed that it still smelled like chemicals--after 3 weeks of sitting in a closed room with the windows open 16 hours a day AND after 24 hours of being shut up with an industrial deodorizing machine! I have had to hire two companies that do disaster restoration to clean up the smells and fumes, which soaked into most anything porous anywhere in my house. My carpeting, leather couches, Flex-fit Base and many of my clothes, books, papers, and other possessions were ruined and have to be thrown out. I have not been able to use my bedroom, bathroom, or office for over a month. I've been having breathing problems, headaches and sore throats on and off. This bed has ruined my life and my home. I haven't had much sleep at all since it was delivered because the air quality in my whole house is so bad. I've had to spend some nights in a hotel. This nightmare has cost me $15,000 so far and costs are rising.
