This review is based solely on customer service and not the quality of the furniture (still waiting on my furniture). This has to be the worst customer service experience I've had in a very long time. They did not follow through on the delivery date - which constantly changing. Imagine being told you'd have your furniture at a certain date - date comes around no furniture. Both sales manager and customer service does nothing to help but rather tell you a bunch of nonsense. The sales guys are more helpful than the customer services rep (Connie). Customer service is not Connie strong suit - she lacks any care or empathy. Some people does not possess the quality to be customer service rep. I made the biggest mistake my ordering from this location. STAY AWAY!! I have mixed feelings about the store. On one hand, some of the items we got were great. Bedroom set was good, the dining room table was great. The chairs were mediocre the couches were comfy. I'm the other hand, we waited 6 months for a loveseat that never came in stock ( but for a refund). The other hand, we have a table / storage that is either extremely default or was out together by their techs poorly. Either way it's been a multi month run around and as of right now we are waiting for a tech to come "check it out" next month. I'm not asking for anything other than for ashley to honor their warranty. This isn't a degect because of something I've done abusive or mishandling of the equipment. I get it, in the midst of the pandemic rush sometimes quality control can slip. I'd just like to see them right their wrong, but that does not include a tech coming and trying to rescrew the brackets. I could do that. read more

I purchased a sofa bed, the sale and delivery went smoothly .We have only had it for two days, I opened bed and added the linen. Once that was done it wouldn't fold back inside the sofa. Called the store and asked for assistance. All they can do is send someone out for an inspection in 7-10 days. My sofa bed is sticking up in the air.. sorry . I need help.. ok 7-10 days. I will never buy anything from you again. I bought this sofa for my ill husband who may not have 7-10 days. Thanks for adding to my nightmare . Poor customer service. Update! The couch is now touching the floor when sat upon, although it has wooden legs on all 4 corners. These couches are pieces of sh*t. It is broken already, in other words. I know they might offer to look at it but honestly I wouldn't deal with these folks for money. We sent back one item when we received delivery and we never went in to claim our "refund" on it. We dont want anything else from them. The delivery folks also sucked. They came in and did not allow us to look at any items before throwing everything into the air and as quick as they could assembling the mess. One fellow dropped part of the couch on the way in and I'm sure that's why the fabric was ripped in one corner. Anyway, yes, the couch is falling apart. All the proud couch owners you see writing reviews are writing after the order is placed but item not 7et received, bc the salesperson nicely asks you for a review. Go with lovesac. read more

My husband and I were in the market for a couch and accent chair! When we entered Ashley Furniture, we were greeted and guided to the areas in the store where couches were being showed. Our salesmen, Kabeer, was so pleasant to work with. He was patient, kind, and not pushy at all. He allowed us time to go through the whole store, was there when we needed questions answered, and allowed us the time and privacy to make a decision, when we found the couch we loved! The manager worked with Kabeer on getting us the best end of year deals, delivery and protection plan. Dominque from the business office was kind and diligent as well. Here is the BBB rating for this company in the photo I attached, and for good reason. This is the type of company wheRe you can make a complaint and they refuse to acknowledge your actual complaint with deflects. My complaint was a simple you u told me one thing and now you are saying another thing after my purchase warranty for my couch. The bigger issue now is their handling of the complaint. Just getting to the right person is a two week obstacle as no one in the store can resolve an issue. Then Customer service on the phone is rude and refuses to make things right. Long story short, their products aren't good, their prices are too high, their sales people lie, and their service sucks. read more

Friendly sales guy but store manager is a jerk. I need to furnish a whole house. I Should be a dream client for them. They told me 8-12 weeks to deliver my $1k+ order. 10 days later they call me to schedule delivery. Usually great exceptarlo) their sister company) just made me a large package deal for multiple rooms of furniture the day before. Ashley won't process my return without a 30% restocking fee. Even though they were way earlier than they said they would be, to deliver. OK, I understand that but the store manager is as rude and nasty as possible tellinge about it. The kind of nasty you would not dare be to another grown man in-person. I probably have another $20k of furniture to buy (5 BRs and an office). And I promise you these guys won't see a nickel of it. If I can avoid the sister company Marlo I might do that as well if these are the kind of people they put in management. read more

In addition: Ray, the manager is wonderful. I needed assistance for a chair my father bought back in March. and has been ill in the hospital and could not receive the chair. Since covid and such, we were not able to get the chair at the time of delivery. Fast forward to this month and I had reached out about getting the chair delivered and ray was very helpful in making sure the chair came to the right address. Ray and his team made sure that this situation was handled as smoothly and as quickly as possible! Can't thank them enough! With the help of Mark, we were able to order this couch and pay for it over the phone. We were also able to schedule delivery on our move in day in our new home in DC. Mark made it easy! He was even able to help us find a comfy mattress set and get that delivered on the same day as our couch. I wish I could give this store zero stars. Terrible products! We spent over $7,000 for a living room and dining room set, and after 1.5 months, the dining room set's chairs all needed to be repaired or replaced. The cushions continue to dip-in, and the legs are always loose, not matter how many times you tighten them. The living room set's cushions are all out of shape in the span of 13 months service. Mind you, we are a two adult household. No kids, no major wear and tear. To boot, the service department is so difficult to get a hold of, spending 1.5 hours on hold, sending emails to no avail. Really regretting getting rid of the furniture we had bought at Value City and going with Ashley. This was our first and last time shopping there. read more

Purchased from the Ashley Furniture store location in Falls Church Virginia on March 22, 2020. Unfortunately, the Sofa Chaise (item number 820-10-20181-02) and large TV stand (item number 820-32-797-03) arrived on April 18, 2020 with defects and damages. The furniture was delivered with damages and defects. Sofa chaise having both external damages and internal frame damage. The TV stand was delivered with nicks on front bottom of stand. With the understanding there can be defects with all things man made, I selected and agreed to pay for brand new furniture without any damages and defects. I did not agree to pay for furniture that has to be refurbished. The quality of the furniture delivered is of much lower quality than the furniture I tested in the store. Therefore, I would like to make arrangements to return all items delivered. Aside from the Customer Service Manager (Ahmaud), everyone else in the Customer Service department have been both helpful and understanding of my situation. When I call the Falls Church store from which I purchased the furniture, I am told only the Customer Service Manager can help me resolve the issues with the poor quality of the furniture. I have requested on three occasions for the Customer Service Manager to contact me (7/15, 7/21 and 7/29) to discuss my disappointment with the defective and damaged furniture I received.
