    We popped in here to just browse and ended up buying a floor model dining room set. We really liked the look of the set, but LOVED the price. For $1,400, we got a 6ft table with a removable leaf, a matching buffet, 6 chairs, two dinnerware sets, two placemat sets, a candle holder set, and a designer decorative piece. The table and buffet alone were almost $1,200 on the original price. To be honest, we tried have to have them keep the candler holder and deco piece and possibly shave $100 off the price, but they wouldn't go for it. When I asked why this set was on discounted so low the sales person told me they're simply running out of room on the floor. In fact he mentioned that this set came out either this year or late last year; it's brand new. Typically when a floor piece is put on sale, It's gone that day or the next. Right as he was explaining this, a customer came up and inquired about the table. We did walk around before seeing our final purchase and the selection in-store here is just ok. You're better off finding your furniture on their website and then coming in here to order. The majority of the furniture in-house is decent quality, but feels more geared towards an older demo? We prefer modern, sleek pieces and most of the stuff here is big and chunky. My big pet peeve here is that their sales people are very, very aggressive. Every time we turned around somebody was asking... "do you have any questions? - "do you want to set up an account?" - "did you know we can put furniture on a wishlist?" ... Yikes! Beyond that, if you are looking for furniture, it's definitely worth it to stop by and see what kind of sales they're having.

    We recently got this new item for our home. First I went online to compare what type of dining table I wanted. Then I went to the Ashley furniture store to see the dining table in person. The table was the same price online and in the store which is amazing. The salesperson was very knowledgeable as well. They informed us they provide delivery and set up with an extra cost. The delivery date was set up within a week. They finally arrived it literally took the delivery men fifteen minutes of their arrival. My family and I are very pleased with this furniture purchase. We highly recommend that you go online and in store with Ashley Furniture.

    well looks like another bad review for this place based on what im seeing here. purchased new couch set after years of owning previous ones and settled for a ashley furniture set, when new couches were delivered the delivery guys cut the big couch with his boxcutter while taking off the protection plastic and failed to notify me of this issue. upon inspection later in the day noticed the big gash and of course these are brand new so i figured ashley furniture would simply consider these "delivered with damage" but no thats not how it works, instead of returning these couches due to damage on delivery they want to repair the couch..imagine that a brand new couch that was delivered and damaged is not going to be replaced instead its getting repaired like if I damaged it. the big kicker is now they want to replace the entire backside of this brand new couch which means tearing into this even more haha what a joke this place is..its brand new why would i want a brand new couch that is going to look like frankenstein in the back, i didnt cause this damage, this is not a claim, this is damage on delivery. let this be a warning if you deal with ashley furniture and something gets damaged while being delivered/assembled you will have to simply just deal with it by having ashley attempt to repair something that was damaged on delivery.

    I purchased a cream Lindyn sofa and loveseat from the Fresno Store 10/16/23. My sales person was phenomenal. She offered delivery the next week but I wasn't ready. We negotiated a date and I left happy. Unfortunately that is where the praise ends. I scheduled delivery 11/29, as I had renovations in process. On 11/28, I called to reschedule to 12/2. On 12/1, I received a call from Ashley advising they did not have all pieces and needed to reschedule. They offered 12/8, but I was not available. The next date was 12/13. I reluctantly accepted. I called the store to ask if they could help with a date prior to the 8th. I spoke with a male there and he assured me that he could have my delivery date to 12/6. He also said he could ensure the price was adjusted to the current price. 12/6/23 came and went - no contact was made (email/text/automated calls) and no furniture. But no biggie. I was definitely scheduled 12/13/23. In the meantime I had seen the price of the furniture drop and had called on 11/25 and 12/1 to ensure my price would be adjusted to the lower rate. Stay tuned. I called the store 12/13 to ensure the price had been adjusted. I spoke with "Peter". Peter did not let me explain the reason for my call, rather, after using my tel#, he gave my delivery info. He summarized by stating "It's coming later today--why are you calling?" I was a bit shocked at his tone but tried to explain my purpose. Peter talked over me repeatedly. Finally I stated in frustration "Do I need to get in my car and come down? Peter said, "Congratulations-You have a car". About 15 mins later, I stood in the showroom and asked customer service to call "Peter". A man came after their call and gave me a business card (attached). When asked was he Peter he said no. The customer service ladies confirmed he was Peter so he lied. When asked if I would receive the price adjustment, he said no. I asked if that was his final answer after explaining there were notes to support prior approval. He said no. Unfortunately, the store manager is on extended leave. I was forced to call Ashley corporate customer service. I also decided to CANCEL the delivery. I'd rather sit on the floor at Xmas than buy from rude and inconsiderate people /establishments. I will NEVER buy from the Fresno Store as long as the have "Peter" on payroll. He is rude and condescending and has zero decorum. There was another customer standing next to me, and she was equally annoyed. They"ve clearly got some work to do.

    Ask for Daniel C., your welcome! We were greeted by him at the door and he literally spent hours with us, answering all our questions, giving honest feedback and never did we feel rushed or pushed in any direction. We literally past the lunch hour and I'm thankful for his time. He gave us realistic expectations regarding delivery and was very communicative. We ended up purchasing office desk, 2 bed frames, 1 King size bedroom set and will probably be back for more. Thanks Daniel!

    I've only been here twice. I was alittle reluctant to return the second time due to our first experience but glad my husband and I did. First experience was back in July we felt bombarded with all these salesman. As we entered we were greeted and we just wanted to freely browse around but we felt pressured and not one but multiple sales man was constantly hounding us it was a bit overbearing and really ruined our experience and since then my husband and I just decided to visit other furniture stores up until this month when we moved in to our new home and we were a bit desperate to find the right furniture set after visiting so many other places with no luck. So we decided to give this place another try. Once again upon entrance we were greeted by one salesman his name was Alex and he asked if there was something we were looking for specifically and I basically said we just wanted to browse around the living room set. He introduced himself and allowed us to freely browse and said he will check on us. As we were browsing other sales reps came up to us asking if we needed help or had any questions and I simply said Alex was helping us. It was a bit strange how some sales rep would just creepily follow us. After some time Alex approached us and asked how we were doing we asked him a few questions and we actually found the right living room set and asked if it was in stock. Luckily the set we wanted was in stock and was told they could ship in 7 days! We were so glad. However our ottoman was back ordered til December but not a big deal. They had a promotion going on if we financed but we opted out and paid it in full and he was still able to give us a huge discount. Our grand total was significantly less than the listed price and he was also able to include delivery with set up as well as the protection plan. The only issue we had was during check out I had to swipe my card multiple times and although my account stated the transaction was "pending" they didn't see the payment on their end. So we were charged twice but we were able to get a refund 2 days after talking to customer service. The furniture had 2 color options platinum and smoke. I liked the smoke color but my husband preferred the platinum so we chose the platinum but when it was delivered the smoke color came in. It was a mistake that actually worked. We decided to keep the smoke color. They delivered quick, 2 days after we purchased our furniture I received another e-mail stating they could deliver sooner than the 7days and I had the option to choose the date which was amazing. The delivery service guys arrived promptly at the time scheduled. They set up my furniture the way I wanted and they also cleaned up the wraps and packaging. All though there were a few mishaps. Overall we had a better experience with our sales rep Alex and we are so happy with our purchase.

    The reason I gave 1 star is because they are great at their BS..!! Never shop at this store you will get factory defects at full price. They are rude and will not do a thing about it

    **$100 overcharge** -- Ashley Furniture's "fuzzy math" -- the total is $99.99 OVER the sum of the numbers on the receipt. Appears SHADY.

    Leif had the worst customer service. I highly recommend avoiding the store and going to Bob's Discount furniture across the parking lot.

We had a pleasure to meet the owner Sayid who helped us find the right and best furniture for us. He was great to work with. He was very patient, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was able to help us find we were shopping for and we are very happy with our items. Their staff are very friendly and approachable. Especially Ulysses, Adam and Mohammed. We have purchased from their stores twice and each time was a great experience. Delivery was within the stated estimated time frame. Which is much appreciated. Delivery employees were also great on both deliveries. They were friendly and careful with our furnitures and did a fast set up. Overall we are very pleased with Furniture City because of their friendly customer service, on time delivery and beautiful furnitures. We highly recommend this furniture store. We have been waiting nearly 2 months for it to be fixed. We have called multiple times and had one repair person out but he couldn't fix the item because the repair ticket said it was a sofa, not a love seat. interestingly we didn't purchase a power sofa, only a power love seat, so not sure how they got that wrong - our paperwork shows the items and coverage purchased. Lazy Boy (or their service vendor - not sure who) sent repair parts to us (didn't tell us they were doing so) and then despite us letting them know we have the parts a week ago, still have not scheduled anyone to come fix the love seat. We have called the store multiple times and been told that they are sending email to the service company to schedule the repair but there isn't anything else they can do because they are not responsible for service. I reminded them that they sold the warranty and are responsible for offering their customers reliable service if they are the ones selling the service contract. They were certainly happy to take our money for the service contract. I understand that they cannot directly come make the repair, but they could certainly lean on the service company to follow up. We have only been able to use the love seat power options for 6 weeks of the 4 months we have owned it. Currently using a dirt bike stand covered with a towel for a foot rest. Not quite the Lazy Boy experience we paid for. Completely unacceptable handling of this issue. This is not our first Lazy Boy Fresno purchase but it will probably be our last because of the quality and service issues.
