Just wanted to give out this review to thank Christine for all her help and excellent customer service! She went above and beyond to help us meet our needs while also taking into account our budget. We went to find a bed frame and a new mattress and she was able to direct us to our options and give us the estimate total for both items while offering us great deals and options. We were able to find something well within our budget and she walked us through the financial aspect and different payment options. We got our bed delivered in a quick time frame and it was built for us and they even went ahead and removed our old mattress for us. Love it so much! Horrible products, horrible customer service, horrible after-sales support, and outright deception. I purchased a sofa from Ashley Furniture in March 2025 for over $4,000, expecting basic quality and honesty. Instead, I got a defective product and a company that refuses to stand behind what it sells. In less than a year, with a total usage of maybe 30 hours, the cushions have severely sunk. My wife and I are almost never at home, so this couch has seen virtually no use. There is absolutely no justification for this kind of failure. To make matters worse, I was sold an "extended warranty" with clear assurances that it would cover everything, including cushion issues. That turned out to be completely false. After two so-called "expert" inspections and more than six phone calls totaling hours of my time, they are now denying coverage and backtracking on what was promised. This is not just poor quality, it is blatant misrepresentation. I have two witnesses who were present when I was told the warranty would cover cushion failure, especially this early on. Now they are pretending otherwise. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. Avoid this company at all costs. I will never buy from them again and will continue sharing this experience so others do not fall into the same trap. read more

It's two years old and we just paid the set off. The insurance company said I would need to get the replacement cover from the store and they would charge me 380 to install. I purchased an Ashley Align mattress in store. When it arrived it looked great. However, after ONE night of sleep I was in a hole! Horrible back pain. This mattress felt nothing like the one in the store. No support. I was convinced I received the wrong mattress. I went back to the store to lay on it again and double check. The store model was firm and felt nothing like mine. Customer service said the first step is to have a tech come out. Three days later he came to my house. Tech said: it looks okay but from what you are saying something is definitely defective. (I should have recorded him). After 6 days, Ashley replied with "nothing we can do. The mattress is fine." After 4 phone calls with customer service and supervisors, I gave up. They could not understand that what I laid on in the store was much firmer than what I got. This table was delivered to my home brand new in March, just 5 months ago. I am shocked to see that this table is already flaking and chipping. If I could give ZERO stars I would!! We bought a tv stand and 2 expensive couches from Ashley on Oct 4th. Lucy showed us all the whistles and bells that are to come with our couches. I was very happy, mainly because we have a rabbit who eats cables and we were told that for an additional $800, battery packs eliminate the need to use an outlet. We paid white glove delivery and I still tipped the guys very well but still couldn't use our couches bc the batteries weren't available. Then when they finally arrived, I wasn't able to connect them. I had to go through incompetent people in the Philippines who gave me a text number to communicate my problems, that did NOT even work bc no one ever replied!!!! Then my husband spoke with Jessica the manager who had promised my husband that their power packs would charge the entire couch - one per battery. NOT TRUE!!! I looked it up online and found out that it's one battery per couch section/seat!! Otherwise we needed Y connectors. I finally got a hold of someone through the website chat bot and they sent out a tech a few days later. Then the tech tells me that we need Y connectors (doesn't anyone ever listen!? I kept saying that a long time ago). Not only that but the the tech informs me that the battery power packs DO NOT work on the reading lights and the charger aspects of the couches. Are you kidding me!?!! I still need to plug the couches into a wall outlet!? It's 10/22 and still no manager has reached out to my husband to resolve the issue. My husband keeps leaving messages to some possible Indian person who says he passes the message but to Jessica the manager but no avail. And I have no working couches.!!!! This is BS!!! What a great experience my Fiancé and. I had yesterday at this location. We came in after leaving Living Spaces for a comfort sleeper. We had the pleasure of working with Nick Long a Talented Advisor. We found the sleeper and ended up leaving with a new King Sized CA Bed!! Nick's down to earth personality , flexibility and patience made us so comfortable! He worked with his Manager to make some exceptions and they all worked out!!! So bummed. At store experience was fine. Sami was our salesperson and I have nothing but good things to say about him. We ordered a sectional couch from them on Labor Day (September 1) One of the pieces was backordered until October 7 but we loved the couch and decided it was worth the wait (and didn't want to lose that Labor Day deal). Got the message saying our delivery date would be October 8th. We spent this morning disposing of our current/old couch, my boyfriend took the day off of work to be able to receive the new one and to our disappointment only ONE PIECE of the sectional couch arrived. Where do I start...this place has been nothing but a headache!!! Spent 4 hours in there piecing together a 14pc furniture set. Destiny and Nate were super nice and we felt like we got an awesome deal. Nothing to complain about there. 3 weeks go by and we have a scheduled delivery date...I get an email to confirm my deliver and I do as they ask. I even gave them 2 phone numbers to contact so the delivery isn't missed. Guess what? We missed it neither one of the 2 phones ever rang! All we got was a tag on the door that says to call back to reschedule delivery. We missed it by about 15 min! We call and they say they can't turn around blah blah blah it's out of the way now and we have to wait 11 days. Mind you it's been 3 weeks already and we weren't even getting all the items. Maybe 5 of the 20 items we ordered. The rest were on back order for another 2 months. So now that we missed it and they can't come back for 11 days they're using our furniture to fulfill other orders!!! And we'll have to wait another month and half because the items that were originally mine are out of stock! ‍ At this point I'm pretty livid and come to find out they wrote down the wrong phone number for the contact info. Didn't even bother to use the second one. I called the shipping center, the store and no one seemed to care about it. 1 of my friends was shopping for a sofa or sectional and we were near this location and stopped in. Very nice layout, employees were friendly and helpful, and loved the quality and selection of their furniture. Some of the items were pricey, but they also had some items that were marked half off and on sale. Will definitely consider Ashley in the future if I am on the market for furniture. read more

Here is my email I sent with details to customer service (I called and they could not supply me with the Huntington Beach location manager address...weird)-- Hello, I am extremely disappointed with Ashley furniture. I called Ashley in Huntington Beach on 11/7/24 regarding the credit for warranty. They explained the side table is not in stock anymore so I would need to use the credit. I explained I have a whole matching bed set (bed, side tables, dressers) and I want a matching side table to complete the bed set and so it's not mismatched. The employee said he would look into it and call other stores to see what he could do. I got a phone call and email two days later from Ashley customer service on 11/9/24 that the piece of furniture was in stock and it would be delivered to my house. I arranged my whole schedule so I could be home (11/13/24) for the arrival. I got an email confirmation and noticed it was for delivery at my old address, even though I gave my new address to the person over the phone. When I went to change the address online, I had to change a different delivery date. I rearranged my schedule AGAIN in order to be home (11/16/24). I emptied the dresser and moved it out of the way to prepare for delivery. I got an automated phone call from Ashley that said my order would be delivered at 10:10am. I checked online tracking and it said my order was one stop away. I waited for over an hour and there was no delivery and the phone tracking changed to "unable to start". I emailed customer service online and they said it will be delivered still, I just have to wait the whole time window. I was not confident in the answer so I also called Ashley customer service and they gave me no answer as to why the order was canceled and couldn't provide me the number to the delivery drivers. I was told a claim case number was made 09897992. I ended up calling Ashley furniture in Huntington Beach and explained the situation since online customer service was no help. I ended up being told there was no delivery order even put in and I shouldn't have received that phone call and emails. I asked what the store could do for me for the huge inconvenience. I explained I want a matching dresser for the rest of the bed set. I was told they can't do anything and they can only give me the credit and I can use it if I want. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Ashley furniture. I moved my whole work and personal schedule to be home for this delivery. I even had my dog sitter pick up our dogs that morning so the dogs wouldn't be in the way for the delivery drivers. For this huge inconvenience and mistake on Ashley's end, I am asking for Ashley to make this situation right to a loyal customer. I have purchased several items from Ashley and I can't believe this happened and that Ashley is doing nothing to make up for it. I went into the store and ended up ordering a bedroom set they only had online. They agreed to give me 10% off so I set everything up. They stated that my chest of drawers and my dresser would be delivered from the warehouse and I would have to put them together myself and that the bedframe would be delivered at a set date and put together by the delivery drivers. I received the chest of drawers and the dresser. I have yet to put the dresser together, but I did receive the chest of drawers and put that together only to find out after I was already done with everything but one drawer that the one drawer didn't have the proper cuts in it for me to assemble the actual drawer. I contacted Ashley furniture and they stated that they would investigate and contact me afterwards. I then got a call within 48 hours from the actual store where I purchased the item in Huntington Beach and David. The manager told me that I needed to bring the dresser back in the original box in order for them to accept the dresser and order another one to be delivered again. I explained to David that I was a single girl living upstairs in an apartment complex. I've already assembled all but one drawer of the whole dresser and it was impossible for me to break it down and put it back in the box so I asked if there was an alternative solution maybe send me just one face of the dresser drawer, or have someone from Ashley schedule a pickup of the dresser. He got very agitated and short with me with me after I asked to speak to his supervisor and then he hung up on me.. then he called back and I recognize the number so I did not answer and he left a voicemail which I have kept stating that he spoke to his boss and they will no longer accept my dresser, no matter what so don't bother, dropping it off to us and we'll give you a $50 discount off of your delivery off the bed which is a complete joke because there's not been any discounts whatsoever app applied to my total when I look online. The lack of professionalism is disgusting to me. I've heard reviews about Ashlee furniture online on multiple social media platforms saying do not buy from them. Customer service is awful, but I thought their stuff was cute so I wanted to get the furniture and when I say, I will never buy from Ashley furniture again I mean it. When he came and saw it he said yes it has failed and would fix it, then he called his supervisor who said that no it is not under warranty? It would only be warranties if it was cut or ripped. Ashley furniture sells garbage furniture made with cheap materials. My last sofa lasted 15 years and this Ashley sofa lasted less than 15 months. Months ago, my grandma and I ordered a dining room table with chair set. The set also came with choice of plates, mugs, dishes and place mats. It seemed like a great deal at an already high price we paid. Our dining room table and chairs arrived on time and in good condition, luckily. The set came with four chairs and I ordered two extra my salesman put it in the system incorrectly so I had to do the exchange. I live on Catalina Island, so they had to deliver to my barge system which I have to pay extra for shipping. I sent back the two incorrect chairs and they sent me back one of my correct chairs I've been fighting with them for the last three months that they still owe me one chair they keep going down to the barge company with my single chair, but the delivery guys think it's an exchange. I've had Ashley's out here twice and they told me there's nothing they can do about it even though the quality of the couches terrible. I've asked for a different couch or for them to work with me and they have yet to do so. $3000 later I'm stuck with a bill . Mind you I live by myself and I have my son part time. For my couch to look like this it's very awful!! This is less than a year. Their technician told me to just complain and work up the chain, but I should not have to do that. I dont recommend Ashley's home furniture to anyone. They may call you, but you would never reach them. At first, things went smoothly, but the delivery day was a horror. About 75% of the furniture were damaged in some way, and one damaged dresser was returned the very same day. My girlfriend and I slept on the carpet for nearly five days, after having to replace the damaged furniture. Finally, It arrived and was replaced, but the TV stand's door didn't work properly from the delivery day. I told them and they said they would send someone to fix it. later, a careless technician was sent out, and all he did was act like he was adjusting the door. I begged him to replace it, and he stated he would file an order to do so; however, no one has gotten in touch with me since then. Still waiting for my replacement. A segment of my sofa was damaged during the delivery. They unwrapped the piece, brought it up the stairs, and the sofa fabric was snagged on the stucco wall outside. Custom service is the worst. No call backs. They said a technician would call me to come out to my home and assess the damage to determine if it would be repaired or replaced. the moment I walked in to Ashley's I felt welcomed the atmosphere in this store is great , on my first visit my initial contact was with Jeff he is a delightful Asian man and very informative in answering any questions you may have, I didn't feel pressured by his customers service, he was awesome! There was also a white gentleman that jumped in at a point and answered my questions his energy was matched with Jeff's, both were just so helpful. I decided to come back (the very next day) I brought my husband into the store to show him items that interested me from the day before... again we had that great customer service from the sales floor an African American woman with short silver hair, the second we walked in the store we felt welcomed, we took our time browsing around the store and never felt pressured into purchasing Items. On my third visit,...(yes, I came in here 3 days in a row) I was ready to make my purchase I met with the store Manager Michelle who was a delightful African American woman, she was very helpful and informative, she talked me thru credit and financing options, I was approved and able to schedule delivery of my new items. She made the whole finalizing process easy, her customer service was superb! Over the last 3 days my over all experience of shopping at Ashley's from the employees on the sales floor to the management was the amazing customer I received it made my shopping experience just that much better.
