We just wanted to let everyone know how wonderful it was to work with the staff at Ashley Furniture in Manchester. Everyone at the store was extremely pleasant and helpful and did not pressure you while you were shopping. In particular, we want to call out Jomell Thomas, our product specialist who helped us select and purchase our sofa and recliner. This man knows his stuff and was extremely knowledgeable about the furniture and options we were looking for in a sofa. He was extremely professional and personable at the same time. He showed great concern in ensuring that we were able to find what we were looking for and getting it delivered to us as soon as possible. It was so nice working with him. We will definitely return and seek out his expertise when we are ready to update the rest of our home. We'd also like to commend Madelyn for her efforts in setting up the delivery time frame for us and keeping us posted. And it doesn't stop there at the store! Our furniture was delivered earlier than expected today. We were kept informed of the delivery status with several phone calls to let us know exactly when to expect the furniture. It arrived on time and the two delivery men who brought in and set it up were also pleasant, professional and ensured that we were happy with the furniture. Before they left, they had us take the survey and speak with the manager to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the delivery before they left. How often does a delivery go that smoothly!! I cannot believe what my husband and I are dealing with right now from the Manchester location. We were originally supposed to get all of our furniture on 10/14. That morning we were informed that the recliner we ordered would not be coming because it was discontinued and the warehouse had no more left in stock. We were then offered the choice to pick a new one that they could try to match the price for, or take the floor model at a discounted price. Later that same day we were told that they found some in stock at the warehouse and that we would be getting a new one after all. Long story short.........these scam artists sent us the floor model anyways and were just hoping we were too stupid to notice. I had the delivery men pack the piece of junk back in their truck and haul it away. The person at the store, Sam, who I spoke with after they left, is supposed to be calling me back tomorrow in regards to giving us a 100% refund. At first she tried telling me that we would still need to pay a 20% reshipping fee for returning the recliner. I basically said " The hell we are!" because they were basically committing fraud by giving us less than what we paid for and they are to blame for why it's being returned in the first place. These people can't be trusted. When we were in the store, things were great. However, this crap that we're currently dealing with is just about as low as a business can get!!!! I am ripped. They better have good news for us tomorrow or I will file a lawsuit for fraud against them. I have the proof and they monitor their calls, so that's just more proof. read more

I bought a sofa and a bedroom set at the Manchester location and the sales person, L. Rosa took care of us-this was about one year ago... I was highly satisfied with his service and his knowledge of the products. I received a call when my items were in and the delivery guys were great! I recently went back and bought a dining room set and was taken care of by Mr. Rosa and again received great service. He was able to match the online price additionally worked with me on the length of my financing due to being a returning customer. It is unfortunate that there are lots of negative comments because I was attended to in a timely matter, did not have someone following me around the store and knew all of the costs upfront. As I mentioned Mr. Rosa was a wonderful salesperson and I highly recommend him additionally I will be going back for another bedroom set and a living room set. read more

From the moment we stepped into the store we were helped by a wonderful sr. product specialist named Luis Rosa. After he walked us through the areas where the sectionals were located, he gave us plenty of time and space to try out and measure the couches. He was always close enough to help answer any questions without being pushy. Once we had a couch picked out, he explained the insurance protection that was available and how it could help protect our purchase. He offered us the best pricing available and even helped us get the financing and payment options that worked for us. We got to Ashley 1/2 before closing on Black Friday. Robin Doolittle and Luis Rosa helped my husband and I to find the perfect two love seats to be delivered by Christmas. The store is beautiful and furniture well laided out. My compliments to the floor designer. Luis and Robin made us feel comfortable, patient, stayed beyond closing and still smiled. A wonderful experience. The girls behind the desk even though they were there Black Friday weekend were still pleasant though tired, still smiling. We highly recommend this store. We had a fabulous experience at Ashley's Furniture in Manchester! It's a great atmosphere and the sales team is not "aggressive" unlike others furniture stores where you feel hounded. The decision to purchase furniture regarding color/design/space/etc.... for our new condo was challenging enough for myself, and my fiancée. I has never been into an Ashley Homestore up until about a month ago. Usually you walk into a store and they bombard you with questions and follow you around the entire time. This is not the case, my husband and I were greeted as we walked in by a sales associate Linda. She asked some general questions and let us walk around the showroom, she came up to us and asked if we had any questions and then we started the order process. Her professionalism and personality really made our experience exceptional. The customer service team did an excellent job taking care of the rest of our experience.
