There are isles of international cookies, chocolate and other goods. There's also beautiful furniture, pillows and kitchen items. I personally wouldn't invest in a couch from World Market because it's typically very expensive, and you can find similar items at other retailers. But they have unique accent chairs and small attractive furniture items. My favorite thing to get here, in addition to the chocolate, are the Christmas ornaments. They are so, so beautiful, and so unique. There is so much detail in each one. Now that it's after Christmas, they are all 50% off, making each one around $2.50 - $4.00. If you have a World Market in your area, I'd encourage you go and check them out. While some items are more expensive, the unique items, hard to find items and the nostalgic items are what it's worth stopping for.

The store sells everything from jewelry, wall hangings, decor, furniture, baby items, knick knacks and right now a slew of Christmas decorations ranging from small trees, wreaths, wall hangings, ornaments, etc. I went in last night and spent almost an hour looking at everything. You really have to go through each room to peruse because otherwise you might easily miss something! I actually went in just to look because I remembered loving their Christmas decorations, but I ended up finding a couple presents for a friend's upcoming birthday. The staff here is very friendly and nice to strike up a conversation with while you are here. They will explain the layout of the store if you have never been in before and will gladly gift wrap for you. The gift wrapping is so cute too!! The woman working last night also told me that if you are cutting it close to when they are closing you can call and they will gladly stay open late for you. (They are open extended hours right now for the Christmas season, but I would call as the website is not updated.) What great and unheard of customer service! I haven't yet pulled all my Christmas decor out, so I know I will be back soon.
