DO NOT GO TO ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE IN MURRIETA!!!!!! MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH THEM AND IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!!! My brother bought a mattress set from Ashley furniture in Murrieta on Sunday and was happy so he referred me to their location. I went in on Monday around 12pm. Dave was my sales representative. I told him I want the same items my brother bought, plus a sofa and loveseat. He said he would give me the same deal, but I paid a little extra for the sofa/loveseat. I also dealt with Tom, the sales manager and he remembered my brother (as he went with me). We decided to buy the furniture. So Dave started the paperwork, but then the Store manager, Richard, came to us and said he was unable to complete the deal for the price that Dave promised us. He indicated Dave gave us a price without checking with management if they approved it. Richard proposed a new price that was $500 higher. We felt it was unfair to change the price since it was not our fault, but understood what happened. After discussing, my husband was nice enough to say we would be willing to pay an additional $300 (so we met Richard over halfway of the proposed price). Richard said he would go into his office to check the numbers and then would let us know if it worked. He sent Dave back to us saying that he would have to add another $50 to the $300 we added and then we had a deal. Again, we said okay. So they asked me to run my credit while they put the paperwork together. I did and was approved. They said "Great" and that Richard was working on the paperwork. We waited...and waited...and waited....Dave came out to tell us we would almost be done. We waited some more. Mind you, it was almost 6:00.......we were already there for six hours, my two small children were hungry and cranky (I promised them a beach day, but we were buying furniture instead). All of a sudden, Dave came and told us Richard needed to see us in his office. We were under the impression we would be signing the papers and leaving. We go to his office door, and he says "Sorry, I won't be doing this deal. I was putting it through, and my boss Mitch refused the deal. We cannot do it....I won't lose my job." THAT'S IT! After being there all day, after agreeing to the deal twice so far, and after running my credit!!! I was VERY upset to say the least! They actually let us walk out upset! Even my brother wants to cancel his order and left upset and angry. I'm trying to purchase a house and they dinged my credit for nothing! Now I can't even go to another furniture store because I can't afford them to run my credit again. This is supposed to be a Corporate store and this is how they treat their customers! I wonder how bad it is at their other locations. BEWARE!!!!! They don't care about their customers. Since we had purchased a warranty Ms. Leticia @ Corporate leaped into action. She contacted Ms. Elena, who is in Lake Elsinore I think and she leaped into action said a technician would be coming to our home to inspect the electricity. And a special electrician named Tony Gonzalez arrived, inspected the sofa, instructed us on how to use the recliner. What a professional Tony is. 2. Ashley had our sofa taken to their repair shop by Nacho and JR. They did an excellent job of removing the furniture being very careful not to scratch the wood floors. We comment them on their customer service skills as well as their professional skills in moving the sofa. A few months earlier Antonio and Tony Gonzalez came to our home and removed the sofa and they too were extremely careful to ensure that the floors and walls were protected when moving the sofa. Two other employees that we have had to assist us with the same customer skills and professional skills were Matt and Jacob. Professionalism is their middle name we think. They move things around in our home as if everything is made of glass, they are so very careful. 3. Whoever trained these employees did Ashley Furniture an excellent job as these employees are sitting a fine example of what Ashley's Furniture is all about. We are so very proud of Ashley Furniture that we told our neighbors about Ashley and Joe Morales Jr. brought furniture from Ashley Furniture. 4. We thank Ashley Furniture Home Store for the joy and happiness that you have provided to us. We see that Ashley stands behind the items they sell and the employees are very special. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This place is ridiculous. Went in to buy a couch (knew exactly which one we wanted after shopping around) all the representative needed to do was to place the order and take our money. However, we did advise the salesman that we needed the couch to be available at the time of purchase. He confirmed that it was indeed available within their warehouse and that we just needed to wait for a call for delivery but the latest date for delivery would be about 4 days from purchase date. We paid for shipping, peace of mind plan and the couch all in full that day. We never received a delivery set up call. We finally called them a solid week and a half after purchase date, and they give no apology for not getting back to us, and then tell us there is a problem in production with the couch we had ordered. Someone please explain to me how "a problem in production" has anything to do with me, or the couch I had already bought that was ALREADY in stock and ready to be delivered! After about 2 weeks of back and forth with the store and their "customer service" office, still no couch, and they could not even guarantee when I would get the items I ALREADY PAID FOR! I asked them to help remedy the situation since we were promised one thing, and received nothing! Called a few other Ashley Furnitures, who all offered the same furniture FOR CHEAPER, delivery was CHEAPER, and they could GUARANTEE my couch in two days. I decided that I would go into the store and cancel my order, and give the money to a store that knew what customer service meant, and were able to get me the product I purchased. I went into the Murrieta Store saying I wanted to cancel my order, and they then start telling me all the other places I would have to go in order to get my money back. Tom, "store manager" raised his voice to me and told me he couldn't do anything. I was livid. Another "manager" DONNA, started calling me names and told me I "wasn't very nice." Duh lady! I went into the Ashley store in Murrieta and purchased a new bedroom set for my daughter. Our sales associate was Cici. She was very nice and explained all the different packages to us and broke down the pricing. She answered all of our questions and was great. We chose to pick up the furniture ourselves from their warehouse in Colton the next day. We set up the appointment and picked up the bedroom set. When we got home, we noticed the dresser was damaged (there was a quarter size chip missing right on the front of one of the drawers and the corner had a small crack). We were bummed. I immediately called the warehouse and they instructed me to contact the Murrieta store to discuss with the manager. I called and asked for Cici and she remembered us from the day before. She said she'd contact the manager and get back to us. She called me back maybe 10min later and said it was all taken care us. The store would come drop off a new dresser and pick up the damaged dresser from our house! I was so happy! The drive to Colton was over an hour away and I really didn't want to do that again. Within a few days, the dispatcher called me and set up the appointment for the exchange. They drivers showed up on time and the new dresser was dropped off damage free :) I was very impressed by Cici and the level of customer service from all of the departments who contacted me. I will be back to purchase the rest of our furniture from this store and from Cici because of how everything was handled. I would recommend this store to anyone who asks. read more

Not this location specifically but the online customer service is the worst. I received an email about 11 days ago saying that my online purchase was "on its way!" I checked the status of said package two days after receiving the email and the shipping label had only been created..ok.two days after that I check it again no update. So I call fed ex and they said that Ashley had not yet sent the package to them they only sent the shipping information and that they shouldn't have emailed me sayin the package was on it's way to me if they had never sent it out in the first place....so I email Ashley about the issue and nothing. No response. I called four times and every time I'm waiting up to 20 minutes to speak to a representative. Last call on day 9 of no update I finally decided to leave a massage demanding my money back with a full refund, that includes: protection plan, delivery fee and taxes. Because this all feels like a scam.The recorded message said someone will get bac to me within 24-48 hrs. It's been three days since I left that message and coincidentally was sent the same email about my package being on the way.. spoke to fedex again, and they still haven't received the item.. I truly believe they are trying to save their assses by resending that email. If I could give this furniture chain 0 stars I would. They are not there for their customers like they say they will be. read more

We we visiting our son in Southern CA. when I saw an ad for Ashley. I checked the reviews and found many negative ones, but decided to visit anyway. Brian was a fantastic help to us. He let us search the store and only 'checked in' occasionally-but was a fount of information. Our plan had been to have the furniture delivered to our son, then come and get it later, since we live too far away it have it delivered from that store to our house. Brian spent a lot of time arranging for us to get the same prices at our local (Fresno) store, even tho' the sale would be over by the time we got home. And he did this knowing he would not be making any commission on the sale! In Fresno, Andre was the same type of salesperson. He told us there was a different sale on and he would give us the lower price on each piece of furniture. They delivered on the exact date, and sent an email before explaining the safety measures they would be following during delivery. ( The SIP had been ordered after our order was placed) The delivery people did a fantastic job too! Wonderful experience! read more

I visited the Murrieta, California location on Black Friday and had a very disappointing experience. When I entered the store, I had difficulty getting assistance and had to follow a sales representative just to receive help. Eventually, an employee named Ali assisted me. Unfortunately, Ali was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction. When I attempted to discuss pricing, he became loud and condescending. I asked to speak with a manager, and he told me no manager was unavailable because they were all "too busy," and then he abruptly walked away. I have been a long-time Ashley customer, and I left the store feeling dismissed and humiliated. I ultimately made my purchase online, where I was offered a better price than what Ali was willing to provide in person. This discrepancy, combined with the way I was treated, left me concerned that bias may have played a role in how I was spoken to and disregarded. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed. No customer should be treated this way, especially at a store they have supported for years. read more

My delivery date was pushed off I was ready to cancel the order. Until I recieved a call from Angelica she was awesome her customer service was unmatched. Well the delivery team delivered the wrong furniture so I called to speak to Angelica she was not in unfortunately. But I spoke to another girl Anna she was equally accommodating really professional offered a sincere apology and a gift card for my trouble without two girls like this Ashley would have lost me as a customer. Thank you Angelica and Anna I got my bedroom set and I absolutely love it. I wish I could I'd yelp it from the mountain tops but this will have to do those girls were amazing can't wait to come back. Had the miss fortune of speaking with Jody on the phone who seemed to be excited about denying any solution. She missed her calling as a prison guard,a real control freak who has over achieved and loves the power. This experience pales in comparison to the face to face meeting with Chyanne, the she bitch from hell. You talk about the lack of any social graces or customer appreciation.Out right indignant and she had the willingness and gall to tell me "that you got screwed by Ashley's". When you first walk in the store it can be overwhelming but lucky for us Joshua was right up front to help us. To be honest I usually hate having a person with me when I shop but Joshua was honestly the best person to help me and my fiancé. We live life in the moment and are always laughing. Joshua was tagging right along with us as we walked through their huge store and just enjoying our time. Honestly because Joshua is the awesome person that he is we will never go to another furniture store and we will ask for him every time we need something new for our home. Horrible service took 2 months to deliver and Defective Furniture and horrible service Tables were brought broken and defective with several scratches top, legs and side. like if they had drop them on their way over to my home or if this were a replacement furniture. I ordered a queen-sized headboard and was impressed with the fast delivery--it arrived the very next day. However, the shipment was incomplete, as the package did not include the necessary hardware for assembly. I contacted customer service, and they assured me the missing parts would be shipped, but unfortunately, it will take 10 days for them to arrive. When I spoke to a representative, I was informed that all sales are final unless the item is deemed defective. However, they do not consider missing parts as a defect, leaving me with little recourse. Due to this frustrating experience, I would not recommend purchasing from this store. read more

Met with sales rep David for bedroom furniture, David took the time and patience to explain sets and pricing, went back the next day and spoke with Jaime regarding mattresses, ended up buying 2 bedroom sets, including 14 pcs for each room for $999 plus tax & delivery, store managers Tom and Richard helped me buy bedding and floor rugs to match the bedroom sets, Richard kept the store open past 9pm so that we could see and choose everything we needed... This was our second experience purchasing furniture from this store. Our first was just fine. This time around was even better because this time we had David Leeman as our Sales Associate. David was friendly, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with! He was no pressure and willing to put in the effort to meet our needs and stay within our budget!
