I ordered a bedroom set from Ashley store and I told them that I need the set delivered complete. I informed them that I would not accept a partial shipment. The salesman at the store informed me that my request can be met and that the shipment will be delivered completely. Two days prior to delivery we get a notice that they will be delivering the first of three shipments. We were told that they did not have all the pieces we ordered and the new delivery dates would require 3 deliveries to complete the order. Called the store where we purchased the bedroom set and the salesman indicated he would call the main office and call us back. We never received a call back. Called the warehouse and informed them that if the order is not complete we do not want it delivered. Next day we received another message from the driver telling us the time tHey were going to make the delivery. We called the main office and told them we wanted to cancel the order and then we're told that it will take 3 weeks before we an get our money refunded. I will never buy from them again. read more

Horrible!! Was told 4-6 weeks for my furniture, it has now been 8 weeks!! They have rescheduled on me 3 times and this last time I took off of work for the delivery!! They Never showed!! Called 1-800 number and was on hold over an hour and no one EVER answered! Finally called the store and they found out truck "broke down"!!! Really???? Call me and let me know this!! I will NEVER buy furniture from this store again. Horrible customer service and horrible delivery team. Ordered a headboard and frame in November. Said it would be 4 weeks until delivery. Come January 1 and I still hadn't received my bed nor had they called me to give me an update. Went up to the store, and they said it would be the end of February before I received my bed. I said absolutely not, and proceeded to exchange my bed for one they said was in stock and could be delivered on Monday. Today. I said I preferred my bed to be delivered by 5pm that day. Delivery company called to confirm, and they said 6:30 - 9. Got a call at 8 pm and they are now saying after 10. After saying no way, that's too late for a home delivery, it needs to be first thing tomorrow morning. They said sorry, we won't be able to come until Friday or Saturday, and we don't know what time. Called the store to complain, they said sorry, that's our delivery policy, and there was really nothing they could do to speed up the date of the delivery or manage the time it's delivered. They could obviously care less about the customer. I have asked for a refund for my account. Which, shockingly will take 2 weeks. Very disappointed in their customer care and lack of compassion. read more

I bought a leather recliner and couch from here and in 3.5 months the frame of the recliner broke. After talking to customer care, if you want to call it that, they said an outsourced company has to come verify that it's beyond repair, even though I sent multiple pictures in showing that it's beyond repair. Then they say we can come out in a month on Wednesday between 8a and 5p... you know, because I can just take a day off of work to wait around for y'all. Even better, I'm told I have to work with them on scheduling. NO THE F*** I DONT. I JUST GAVE YALL A COUPLE GRAND, YOU HAVE TO WORK WITH ME!!!!. The worst part is, they want to put a bandaid on something rather than replace it so that they don't lose a dollar, even though you just gave them thousands for cheap furniture. Don't ever buy anything from this place. I bought new bedroom furniture and paid cash for it. It was suppose to be delivered on 9/15. Well no calls to say that it is not being delivered. I called to check on it on 9/14 after being on hold 3 times for over an hour each they tell me it's not even in stock. So I wait another week and hear from no one. I called to check on delivery still not in. On September 27 I go to the store because you can't get anyone one the phone. I talk to a manager and he said some of it would be delivered on Friday. The next day I get a call from my salesmen that says my order has been canceled and I should receive a refund in 2 days and if I still wanted it we could write it up again. I have no idea how it got canceled because if you call customer service they tell you that it can only be canceled from the store. I have called the store twice since then looking for my refund. Today someone was suppose to call back and never did. This is the worse customer service I have ever seen in my life. Don't buy anything from there. I just don't know where to start in telling everyone of the humiliation we went through on Labor day 2015. I stopped by Ashley Furniture Homestore Outlet in New Branufels on Saturday and decided to order 3 barstools out of the Ashley catalog. The sales person by the name of Kurros was really nice. I asked the sales person if I pick up the chairs on Monday ( Labor day ) he said yes just call warehouse when I'm heading that way. ( I live 1 hour away). I also asked if the chair would be assembled and he stated yes. Great I charged the items on my Ashley credit card and paid cash for taxes. On Monday all hell broke loss.... Needless to say when I contacted the warehouse at 10:00am as instructed while I was driving from 1 hour away to the warehouse I was told the items will not be ready for pickup until 1:00 pm, and if that wasn't the kicker the warehouse person told me that the barstools are in a box not assemble like the sales person told me. I immediately called the store and spoke with the sales person he apologize for the misinformation. I explained that the only reason I purchased the chairs is because I could pick them up and they would be assembled. I asked to speak with the store Manager in hopes they would stand by their word. No but hell no.... The manager by the name of Andy Camarillo was the most Arrogant, Rude, Condescending, Unprofessional person I have met. He tried to down played want happen and refused to make it right. After a back & forth with him I decided to cancel my order and cut up my Ashley Furniture credit card, and for the cash I paid for taxes he refused to give me stating that the store doesn't give refunds. I then asked were does it states this because I didn't read this on my receipt. The manager Andy Camarillo tells me " Because he says so and I just have to believe him". I can't believe the disrespect, and lack of Customer service this So called Manager has. the service in the store was ok. However, we took advantage of their 5 year no interest financing and its been a nightmare. We were quoted $84 each month for everything. We have been billed $104+ every month. One bill was even $140... no bill has been the same. I've called and called the local store, no return call. Ive called Synchrony bank which is the financing co. Cannot get anyone that speaks English. Hold times are 30 minutes PLUS for the "local" customer service in New Braunfels. I went in with my wife and was helped by Matt. We found a sectional we loved but were unsure if it would fit. Matt was able to get us locked in on a promotion that night. I returned the next day after measuring and finding out the sectional wouldnt fit. Matt wasnt there but we were helped by Kris (not sure I spelled the right) Kris was extremely helpful and understanding. She spent over an hour walking around with us as we tried to find something that would work in our space. We finally found it, the perfect piece for us. Kris worked with me, she was able to price match and get us to a number we felt comfortable with. She explained every step she was doing. And when I had questions she couldnt answer, instead of trying to talk around it, she called In her manager. **DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY** I purchased my living room set on 3/18/2019 from the New Braunfels, TX store location spending almost $6,000. I started to notice that the couch was making a grinding noise whenever we would sit down on it on 3/16/2020. Over one year later, my sofa is still not repaired, Ashley Homestore has refused to repair or take accountability, and I am being offered a settlement from the extended warranty company of in store credit to purchase another sofa (my style is now discontinued so I would be forced to purchase a sofa which does not match my set) or a 49% cash settlement. I have thorough notes of phone calls (dates, representative's names, summaries of the conversations) going all the way back to 3/16/2020. A local sales manager who I worked with for nearly 5 months (him acting as my liaison with the corporate office) had told me that Ashley Homestore was simply unwilling to take accountability despite the fact that the cause of the damage was documented as a manufacturer's defect by their repair technician. Their reason for refusing to repair is because the damage was reported 12 days past the 1 year manufacturer's warranty, however, the reason it took me so long to report it was due to the COVID-19 lockdowns. I started attempting to contact my sales rep at the local store on 3/16/2020 (when I noticed the problem) and several other times between then and 4/2/2020 (when I finally made contact with the 800 customer service rep). The reason I was not able to make contact with anyone prior to 4/2/2020 was due to the local store being temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 shutdowns.I obviously am not ok with not being reimbursed fully for the item nor do I was mismatching furniture in my living room! I literally broke down in tears over this all the other day. I am so frustrated and feel completely helpless. Ashley Homestore had no problem taking almost $6,000 from me when I purchased this complete, matching living room furniture set 2 years ago. I still owe $2,800 on the set. I will not nor should I have to settle for a mismatching set. I spent $1,100 for a sofa that didn't even make it one year due to the confirmed fact that it was built incorrectly from the start. I am absolutely disgusted with the way that I have been treated. I have been ignored, lied to, promised things with no follow through. I truly believe that no one at this company cares. I have made every payment on time, I am a hard working consumer, and I have been completely taken advantage of and robbed of my money. The damage was due to a manufacturer's defect that is a documented fact. Had a wonderful experience in store. Taylor did a great job helping us purchase a chaise and loveseat. Where things went TERRIBLE, was delivery and guest services. We were told there would be a 6-8 week delay (purchased June 12) on delivery, fine. Upon calling the guest service line at the end of June, they said the items were out of stock, but would be in stock on July 1. Great, no problem. On July 3, received a text message stating the order was expected to be delivered on July 21, and a follow up would be sent closer to the date. On July 20, after hearing nothing, I called customer service. Was hung up on twice (after sitting on hold over 20 min. both times) on the third attempt, I spoke to a young lady who was extremely polite, but informed me that the items were still out of stock and that the person who gave me the July 1st restock was wrong. I was told to call back on July 30, to try to see if my item was in stock and if they could schedule a delivery window then. She said they would not call me, but I had to call them and sit on hold once again. Definitely unimpressed with the customer response team, and their lack of information on shipping and delivery! read more

Went to Ashley for a new couch and found a rug I liked as well. We were informed about delivery delay before our purchase. We understand the whole COVID situation and weren't upset. My husband financed the couch and me the rug. Within a week we were each contacted to set delivery. We each confirmed separate dates. Dates come and no one contacted us that there would be no delivery. This happened 6 times!! Each time we have to call and get the run around.....call customer service....you have to call the store, and that's if customer service doesn't hang up on you after sitting on hold for 30 mins waiting to get thru! After my 6th time of confirming delivery for my rug they call and leave a message that it's an accessory item and they can't deliver! It took them almost 2 months to figure this out!? I have always bought from different Ashley stores and this is the absolute worst service I'm not receiving! We decided to take our business to a store that's not "the largest furniture store" and received our new couch within a week! If I could give less than one star I would. read more

If I could give a negative star...I would. The show room was great, the sales people were great. The issue is that all this took place over a month and a half ago and we still are waiting on our furniture. They were supposed to be delivered at the end of September, never showed up. Someone called to confirm delivery on the 7th and 9th of October, never showed up. Mind you we got rid of furniture to make way for our new furniture. We called the store and the customer service and got 3 different dates as to when our stuff would arrive. They gave some crap answers like "it was due to COVID". Ashley Furniture is the only company in America to not figure out how to work around Covid. To put in perspective, we order a new bed set for our guest room. This is one of those times if i could give it negative 5 stars i would ..... so We had an Absolute horrific experience with them.. starting with the true car salesman mentality. We went to find a couch set for a room in our house that is basically for decoration. The sales man was decent however has been trained to pretend they are going to search for deals and low low prices (scam). After they insulted us with the oh are we doing financing for you all today comment... as is we looked liked we needed financing. My husband paid with our debit card and We purchased a couch set and were told we could go right over to the warehluse to pick it up. When my husband arrived at the warehouse low and behold they didnt have any in stock. We went back to the store to get a refund and the manager was extremely rude, condescending, arrogant, and cocky!!!! He said its not their fault the warehouse didnt have any in Stock? Seriously then why have us go there?? He reluctantly informed my husband that he submitted it for refund and it would be 3-5 business days.. i then called the customer service center and that was just as bad. Incompetent people who do not listen nor care about your experience. I had to restate my actual complaint 5 times before they understood it and stopped making excuses for everything else under the sun. So today we get a partial refund.. my husband texted me this morning that he thinks they charged a restocking fee because they didnt refund the entire amt. I called customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. The rep continued to try to handle the problem for me as i had to ask for a supervisor a 3rd time. she tried to tell me it was my bank not them.. mind you i was asking about the portion that was not refunded as the bank already credited back the amount minus what ended up being the taxes. I love how nice the staff was. They were very helpful, sweet and kind. I was understanding with the time frame because things are off right now with this virus. I was told that my table would take about two weeks to get delivered. It just kept getting pushed back. We decided to pair it with the sofa and just do one delivery to make it easier about 2 months from when we bought all the furniture. Well it has been two months now. My sofa and table were supposed to come today, but nobody is/was answering the phones for the toll nor the specific store. My husband sat on line with the toll number for two hours and nobody answered so that he could just confirm the delivery. My delivery just got pushed back almost a WHOLE MONTH again. When we were home and trying to get everything confirmed and ready, but nobody was answering. I was extremely happy with our service, even waiting 2 months for my stuff. The sales staff in the store was kind and helpful. We got a fantastic deal on a living room set that we first saw in a show room in San Antonio. But honestly? We won't be buying from this company again, outlet or regular store. We picked up our items at the warehouse. The staff there was rude and treated my husband like he was an idiot. When we arrived home, 2 of the 3 tables that came with the set were damaged. I had to drive one back to New Braunfels and was told that someone would be sent out to repair the other table. No one showed up on the day that they were supposed to do the repair. I had to get a substitute for my class and NO ONE SHOWED UP. When I called to reschedule they never so much as apologized. Someone did arrive the day that they were rescheduled, but he was cold and not helpful. He said that he needed to spray the table with chemicals and since it was raining outside he would have to do it in the house. I have a small child and was not ok with this solution. He had me sign something saying that he came out and told me that someone would be contacting me in the next few days to discuss other options. That was at the beginning of November. I have yet to hear from anyone. I'm just going to sand the table myself and refinish it I guess because I don't have time to wait on hold for 45 minutes (which I've done nearly half a dozen times in attempt to get someone in their "customer care" department to answer) nor do I have time to drive the half hour to New Braunfels to fight with their rude warehouse staff. If you enjoy headache and hassle, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend the few extra dollars and buy furniture from a store that will make sure that you are taken care of. **Update: 1.15.16** I was asked in a private message to send an email containing my contact information. I sent said email and the phone call was returned in an acceptable time frame. I called back (I was at work and could not take the original call) and spoke to a kind young woman who seemed to understand my frustration. I was offered a 17% discount in order to keep the table as it. (Not going to happen. That wouldn't even cover my costs to purchase the needed items to repair the table myself.) or I could drive the table back up to the warehouse and exchange it. They would not deliver a replacement since we picked the set up the first time, even though I have already made a trip to New Braunfels to exchange the first damaged table. But I digress. She then offered to send another technician to my home on a Saturday so that I wouldn't have to take another day off of work. The sentiment was nice, but given my experience so far, there seems to be a 50/50 chance of them actually showing up. After reading all the reviews I feel I need to share my experience as well.. First off this was the worst experience I have ever had with customer service. The manger could care less about you or making things "right" I bought two couches under the condition that I was going pick them up myself and that they would wrap it for me to secure the material from getting dirty or damages. When I was checking out my salesmen kept asking what his commission would be on the couches which to me means they don't care as long as they make the sale. I bought two of the exact same couch. One was the floor model and the other was going to be brand new so they said they would send them to the same place for pick up so I wouldn't have to get it from two different places.... I purchased them on a Friday and they said it would be ready for pick up by tomorrow which would be that Saturday. I couldn't get a truck till Tuesday so when I called to let them know I was on my way they couldn't even find my order. That we're was no description. When I looked at my receipt I realized at the bottom it had my total but not description of the actual furniture I purchased!! So I went back and fourth trying to discuss to them that I bought two couches and what they looked like blablabka btw if you call Expect to me on hold for at least 45 min till Someone answers. And I got hung up twice when they didn't know the answer and calling back is a mess I literally spent my whole day talking to customer service. They were nice don't get me wrong but no one knew anything. My furniture was never wrapped like agreed and they were in two different locations everything they promised was wrong and did nothing to compensate for and not even an apology. My couches got dirty because they didn't wrap them. It's just a mess and when I was on the phone with them a lady at the store over heard my conversation and said that last year she had the same problem. They broke her dresser when they delivered it and would no refund exchange or repair. They said once it leaves the warehouse they are not responsible for it so she got stuck paying 1200 for broken furniture with no refund. I would listen to all these reviews. I bought a $2500 bedroom set almost two years ago. No complaints about the service and I picked it up and set it up myself. My complaint is that the memory foam mattress that we purchased came with a 10 year warranty that Ashley furniture will not honor. After sending a tech out (he took pictures and laid a string across the mattress) we did not hear from them for 4 days. After calling today and being shuffled from person to person for 55 minutes, they said nothing was wrong with the mattress. Try lying on it for a few minutes or sleeping on it!! The foam has collapsed inside leaving a "sink hole". That is not visible but you sure can feel it. We went back to Ashley yesterday(before hearing from Ashley today) to pick out a new mattress and even the mattress rep as well as the sales guy said that mattress has been discontinued and should never had been sold considering our weight (Brisane Bay). He (both the mattress rep and sales guy) stated the mattress was for "occasional use or for a child" Nice to know after we paid it off. We considered spending $4500 for a new mattress and adjustable frame but will now take our business elsewhere (Mattress Firm) and get the same deal and financing. Sad they would give up a sale based on a $600 to $800 mattress credit (I do not remember the exact total as we bought it as a set) They even sold us on a high dollar "mattress cover" because the sales person said they would only warranty the mattress if it has no stains, which ours does not. They're happy to take your money and a smile as you do it to the delivery they do not follow through they were told from the beginning after 3 PM on Tuesday we get a call on Monday. Please use our experience as proof to NEVER purchase from this company. We ordered a mattress from JESSE CAMPOS and was told they would take away the old one upon delivery, and charged us $69.00. The driver showed up THREE HOURS LATE and refused to take the old mattress. He stated that "the salesmen will say anything to make a sale". I called the "customer care" phone number and was told that it is not guaranteed they will remove an old mattress. When asked why we were told that, their reply was "I don't know". We went back to the store in New Braunfels and have been told it could be SEVERAL DAYS to refund our money because they don't do that there. The "salesman" was there and avoided even making eye contact with us - his deceit being brought directly to account he in no way wanted to own up to it. The bedroom furniture I purchased over 10 years ago is still beautiful and holding up well. The dining room chairs and stools are great. I am very pleased with the service I have received in the, the distribution/pick up service and the delivery service. All products were in great shape, no damage at all. The customer service was polite and respectful. No high pressure sales. I read the reviews for this store and all are negative ... it seems that only 6 people shop at the store and all had horrible experiences. It is a shame that people only write a review when something isn't right ... what about the times things are right? If you get good service, send a compliment. If not, complain as you should .. We Purchased approx. $ 3500.00 of new furniture from the Ashley's outlet in New Braunfels, tx. All totaled over the past 12 yrs. I have bought about 15,000.00 , but that doesn't matter to them , they still treat you like they are doing you a favor by allowing you to buy from them....Their previously scheduled & confirmed delivery was a day late, (even tho I called several times to follow-up and even went by their store). When they did show up late on Sat. nite, the delivery people damaged our furniture and did not tell us. We found out about it after they had left. I repeatedly called their hdq. , provided them with full & complete documentation, and they still denied my claim. They said they were not responsible! They were very condescending & uncaring... It cost me $650.00 and a lot of my time to get my furniture repaired. FYI...Their upper mgt. people direct their lower level mgrs. and customer service employees to not let customers who have complaints , thru to speak to them! How credible is that! Everyone who was involved from Ashley furniture during this whole process passed the buck by saying that they couldn't do anything for me, I must have called at least 15 times to various people in their customer service hdq..
