Very disappointed with my experience at this store. I came in looking for a mattress and a sofa, but there was no one available to help. Several employees were in the showroom, but they all seemed to be on their phones and never looked up or acknowledged me the entire time I was there. After waiting and walking around for quite a while, I finally left without speaking to anyone. I expected better customer service from a well-known furniture brand like Ashley. Definitely not returning to this location.

Wrong color and dent marks on the top of the table.

I ordered a dining room table along with six chairs. The color I ordered was a light color when the delivery came. I only received the dining room table in a dark color with dense and the top of the table surface. I asked them where were my chairs and they said they only had the table to deliver to me. When I called Ashlea up to find out what had happened they told me no chairs were included with the order Even though when I ordered the item it showed that it came with six chairs. I was told that I need to call Ashlea to have the item picked back up and then have a refund issued. I did that on July 2. I was given a case number along with already having my order number. On July 4, I was contacted by email asking for 360° pictures of the item, serial number of the item, part number of the item and reason why I needed a return. Even though I had given all of the information to the first person that I called on July 2, I provided all of the photographs and all of the information again for a second time. It took them from July 4 to July 10 to get a hold of me. I was called at 11:38 AM and told that they would be at my house the very next day between 8:30 AM and 12:30 PM. They didn't even give me 24 hour notice. Of course I already had doctors visits and other appointments scheduled for less than 24 hours. So the next appointment they were able to give me was on July 15. They could not give me a time because they said we'll have to call you the day before to tell you what time we'll be there. So now I have to keep the whole day open waiting for the day before to find out what time Window they'll be at my house. This is the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. I would never want to have to go through all of this ever again. And the sad part is I still have the wrong item. No refund. And have no clue how or when any of that will be done. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU REALLY ARE WANTING TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS TROUBLE. IF YOU EVER GET THE WRONG ITEM DELIVERED TO YOUR HOUSE. FOR ME, IT'S NOT WORTH DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY WITH THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Broken furniture

11/2/23: I placed 2 separate orders through Ashley, both deliveries, half of my items were broken. A total of 4 items. Also, they dropped off a different customers furniture at our home. They do not handle items with care, when being built or during transport. Items came in dirty, scuffed, scratched, missing/broken screws and drawers not sitting right. I do not recommend Ashley Furniture Store as they do not care about the quality of their products or their customer satisfaction. I will never shop with this company again. For the amount of money I paid for their products, their service was unacceptable. Not to mention, the item that could not be delivered due to damages, is now out of stock. So I now have 2 dressers and 2 nightstands with no matching bed. I would give 0 stars if possible. Update on my orders as of 11/15/23: the technicians did come out and ordered me new drawers. The drawers came in with no handles! Like how! Also, one was scratched (see photos below). Making this their 4th attempt to get things right and they once again failed. In case you were wondering, I never got my bed as mentioned in my initial review. I would give negative stars at this point if I could after all this hassle. Let me save you the trouble right now, do not shop at Ashley Furniture.

We purchased a Beautyrest C-Class mattress a little under three years ago, but it had already begun sagging and causing problems. We later learned that this was a known issue with that particular model. After submitting a warranty claim, we received a credit toward a replacement mattress. We first stopped at the Redlands Mattress Firm while we were in town for lunch, and Chris helped us immediately without using any high-pressure sales tactics. We explained the problems we had experienced with our previous mattress, the comfort level we preferred, and that we needed better support for shoulder and hip pain as side sleepers. Chris directed us to three excellent mattresses, each with different benefits, and gave us plenty of space to try them, talk privately, and ask questions without hovering. After we found a Purple mattress we liked, Chris told us about a more plush version from the same collection that might better suit our preferences. He looked up which stores had it available to try and even called ahead to confirm that it was on the showroom floor before we made the drive. He also checked the expected delivery date and offered to waive the delivery fee. We then drove to the Cathedral City location to try the Purple RejuvenatePremier Crown mattress in a California King plush model. Erick was ready to help us when we arrived and was equally friendly, knowledgeable, and low-pressure. He carefully explained the mattress's benefits, the warranty-exchange process, the delivery timeline, and what would happen if we needed to exchange it. I was concerned that warranty replacements only include a 30-day trial period rather than the standard 120 days, especially because this was such an expensive mattress. Erick listened to my concerns and generously extended the trial period to 120 days and waived the restocking fee if we ultimately needed to exchange it. We doubt that will be necessary because we really loved the mattress, but having that reassurance made us feel much more comfortable with the purchase. Erick also gave us plenty of time and space to lie on the mattress and discuss our decision privately. When we mentioned that our current pillows were not working well for side sleeping, he listened carefully and helped us find options that would provide better support. Both Chris at Redlands and Erick and Cathedral City went above and beyond to make a stressful warranty replacement feel easy and manageable. They were patient, informative, generous, and genuinely interested in helping us find the right mattress rather than simply making a sale. The Cathedral City store was also clean, cool, and comfortable, and every employee we encountered was professional, welcoming, and down-to-earth. I highly recommend both locations, especially the Cathedral City Mattress Firm, to anyone looking for a low-pressure, informative, and reasonable mattress-buying experience.

Kat started to determine what would be good for me, and I told her my need. WOW, she was amazing. She hunted and actually gave me options. Jackie, her coworker, helped her scour deals and they found a small mattress that I could get right then. Imagine, they were so nice, helpful, and invested in helping me over this small purchase. I will definitely be back for my main mattress! I had looked for mattresses at Walmart, only to find they cost too much for my needs. Imagine my delight when I left with a hugely better mattress for less than 1/2 the price!!!!! One of my free "MUST VISIT" recommendations.
