Honestly one of the worst experiences of my life. I bought this gorgeous dream bed just to be told they sold me the wrong bed two days later AFTER I got rid of my bed! They gave us the run around and weren't even nice about it! I really would hate it to happen to someone else. We bought a couch and recliner and we were not aware that the couch was not a recliner that doesn't hit the wall when opening it. So it tore on our window shutter. This was 2 weeks after it was delivered. So we reported it to the insurance that the sales person said it will cover everything. We didn't hear back for over 4 months. Every time I looked it up it kept saying it was processing. We finally hear back from the insurance. They set up an appointment and a very nice guy came out and told us it was covered and said he was going to order the top part and will have someone call us when the part comes in. Then a month later I get a email that stated our couch was not covered. I called and argued with this person who kept saying it was not covered and I kept saying why did the insurance claim guy come out and say we were covered. Now we are not. Needless to say we we're screwed again. So the couch still has a big tear on the back of it. This company is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. Never again will you get my business and I will be writing a honest review about my experience with this scamming company. Today a table we bought from Ashley's in Palm Desert, Ca. Was supposed to be delivered. I called to find out what is going on. They stated the table won't be in until tomorrow and we can pick it up then. I said we paid to have it delivered and then Teresa from the store said we didn't pay for it and we didn't pay to have it assembled. I canceled the order. The sales guy didn't say anything about any of this. We were concerned about the table fitting in the area we wanted it, so we asked him if it doesn't fit can we refuse the delivery of the table he said yes. This is the second bad experience I had with this store. Don't waste your time or money. This company does not care about professionalism. Update 2 years later. The seat on the recliner is tearing and again the 5 year warranty is not returning our calls. The couch is also starting to tear on the seat. My Aunt purchased a 3 piece table set from here and they offered her a warranty through GBS. The table was defective and and the glass came unglued from the frame. My aunt came home to the glass leaning over. Had she been at home this could have potentially fallen on her. After calling the warranty company to either receive a replacement or a repair service, I was notified that the glue and the frame were not covered in the warranty plan neither of these things were disclosed to me upon purchase. At this point, the warranty company is sayin there's nothing they can do for me after spending $500 on this set. So now not only am I out the money but I still have to get another coffee table. I have got furniture and mattresses here many times. Unfortunately the sales person we loved working with is no longer there. We walk in and Maria saids right away " Are you here for the mattress sale"? We say no then saids "there is no discounts I have to put it in my system", very rude and we say we are looking. She has horrible customer services and we left in 5 minutes because we will not do business with someone so rude right out the gate. We were coming in to purchase another dinning room set and a chair for are living room. We just wanted to make sure we liked it. We did see it and was ready to buy today. Horrible customer service! I can't get in touch with anybody in store. The line is always busy and a very long wait. One time I drove down there to the store while on hold for a representative from the local store to pick up after 1 hour on hold. I got the store and it was empty just the sales people sitting around looking on their phones. I am still waiting for my coffee table that they are suppose to replace for me. I have been dealing with Ashley about getting my replacement for 7 months now. I have been lied to several times by their customer service. So this week they assured me that they will be delivering my replacement this week and when calling me 2 days prior to confirm delivery, texting me scheduling the delivery ETA. I waited for them all day and finally decided to call customer service and was told that my order was canceled and I'm not scheduled for any delivery at all. This is very frustrating since the day I received my coffee table the piece broke off and they sent their repair tech and said that is was not repairable. I've been dealing with corporate customer service as I was told that the local store is just a franchise but they are trying to help me get my replacement. We have been waiting for this replacement for 7 months now. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FURNITURES FROM THIS LOCATION. BUY ONLINE THEY HAVE FREE SHIPPING! I advised you to look online and check out the pieces in store and make the purchase on line. The prices are better and you don't pay for delivery charges. I went to take a look at a new couch because our family couch is 20+ years old. The moment I walked into the store I was followed around by this white sales associate. He didn't really say anything to me, but he was following me around the entire store as I browsed. It was the most awkward 30 mins, and I ended up leaving. Update: There was an additional delay in delivery, so the sales rep who helped us gave free delivery. We bought the damage protection. The delivery team left a black mark on one sofa, but they sent someone out to clean it up promptly. Another stain occurred last month and have had two appointments not work out with the furniture repair company they contracted with. It would be nice if this whole process had been hassle free, but we really love one of the sectionals. It's the most comfortable thing we have ever owned. The other sectional we purchased is starting to have fabric pilling already which is a bummer. read more

Okay today is January 23rd and we FINALLY GOT OUR TABLE AND CHAIRS FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE! Okay not sure if it was my Yelp review or our visit to the Palm Desert store. But we got the text with the time frame for today. Then we got a phone call and we figured they were going to tell us it was damaged BUT No. the lady said we were VIP and wanted to make sure we were ready for the delivery. She said it was checked out and in excellent condition. She described it perfectly. We were so excited! This morning we got a call to say we were three on the delivery schedule. It has arrived and is beautiful! The two guys are amazing. Very professional and nice. For the living room furniture for Long Beach, stay tuned. It now is scheduled for January 31st. I must state that I am no longer pleased with Ashley Homestore & currently I do not see myself purchasing any further items. They have truly gone downhill in a big way in my opinion. I want to write a review regarding the Ashley Furniture company customer service. I bought a mattress that has a 10-year warranty. The mattress has 1 inch indents on both sides of it and the indents measure 1 inch on each side. Ashley does not want to validate the warranty because the indent has to be 1.5 inches. read more

We purchase a top grain reclining leather couch and chair along with a marble top coffee table and end table. Within 24 hours of delivery we realized we could not recline the ending the couch because of the coffee table and since it's marble it's incredibly hard to push out of the way. I called Ashley Store the very next day and asked if I could return or exchange the tables and I was told no. I asked to speak to the manager and the lady who answered said there would be no use since they have a "no return policy". I could have bought these same items on several different websites, who all gave returns available but I went to the local store instead. Big mistake, they have no customer service they just want the sale. When we entered the showroom we were greeted by Peter L. He has been a great guy- he helped us make some great decisions and as we were walking around the store he didn't bother us but listened. This allowed him to get a mental snapshot of our taste and what we were looking for. He made some suggestions and knew the products by the back of his hand. He helped explain the difference of fabrics, materials and colors. He also showed us how to add pieces to make our movie theater room even cooler. We ended up getting an awesome recliner sofa and we are satisfied. So if you decide to buy your furniture with Ashley, get the protection program. This new sofa arrived damaged and even the delivery driver agreed and took photos. It was easy call to customer service and now they are sending the replacement piece and a technician next week to fix it. That bummer was all due to warehouse issues and not the store employees or the customer service hotline. I've used Ashley before (over the years) and it's nice to know they're really about making the customer satisfied. Peter even matched a price with a local competitor and we got a better deal! Very rude lady. We walked in and told her we bought a place in Oregon. Asked if they could ship their and she said "absolutely not" and walked away. I understand that is not option, but to just walk away and not even ask to help us is very poor service. Ashley is a national company and has a store near where we bought. Called the store to put in an order and was transfered to sales associate BECKY. She asked me to text her the item after i mentioned i had the item number on hand. I text her photo she called me back with a price and when asking her how come it's cheaper through mathis brothers she responds and said " you can go buy it through them if you want." I came in looking for a TV stand and had lots of options. I was excited for the St.Patricks day sale, but a better deal fell into my hands. I was shown a clearance item that was on sale for $300 and it is absolutely amazing. The stand is great quality and blows any other stands I saw out of the water. I'm so disappointed in myself for going back to them. Everything about my experience was terrible. The sales person, come to find out, lied to me about everything. The furniture was not leather like she said. She said the added insurance would cover EVERYTHING no questions asked. I have had 3 problems in 2 years of owning the furniture! Chair is falling apart. It has a tear, and couch is ripping in an area that is hardly ever sat on. There are 2 adults in the home who don't have guests over often. There were continuous calls addressing these issues. I was guaranteed "the lowest price possible" when I visited the store, only to find it on their website for an even lower cost! After we sorted out the cost issue, the delivery company haphazardly slapped the furniture together. Each piece was unsteady and the table did not fit the glass overlay. Terrible job. My husband and I purchased a sofa, love seat and ottoman from the Ashley store in Colton. Half the order was delivered and within a week we realized the color of the love seat did not match our decor. In the store with the lights on it the color looked perfect, not so much in our home. We went into the store and explained our situation, and we were given a case number and told their centralized office would call us. Since we still needed furniture we talked to our salesperson, and another sales person in the store, and both of them told us we could not purchase any other furniture, and the store would not honor our return. We were treated very rudely and will never buy anything from this store again. We decided to go to the Palm Desert store to purchase new living room furniture. We explained our situation, and ended up talking to Zac the store manager who was extremely helpful, polite and professional. We were then connected with salesperson Juan Rojo, and he assisted us in picking another sofa and love seat. Currently he is helping us with our case to get our love seat and ottoman returned. We have called him twice and he has answered our calls promptly and has been extremely helpful and professional. On July 6, 2022, I was unloading the drawers on a dresser that I purchased from Ashley Home Store in Palm Desert which I purchased for $2,493.30 on 11,03,2019. (this was the cost of the whole bedroom set). I was removing the drawers as to make the moving of the dresser easer and when I removed a couple of the drawers, the rails on the side just fell off. I could see that they were installed incorrectly as they were using screws that only protruded 1/8 of an inch into the side of the drawers. Even though I knew they were purchased about three years ago, I figured this was a manufacturing error, not a normal wear and tear defect, so I decided to take two of the drawers to the store to see if they might look at them and try to help me fix the problem. As soon as I walked into the store to mention the fact to the manager Ed Flores, he said that was a warranty problem and is only good for one year form date of purchase and for me to remove them from the store. I tried to show him that it was a manufacturing defect not a warranty problem. He just kept saying about a dozen times that it was a warranty problem. I said do I look stupid I heard you say that a dozen times. I then asked him for a copy of my original order and the phone number of customer service. He gave me the copy and the phone number. It was about 105 degrees outside, so I decide to call from inside the store. Of course, they put me on hold saying they would answer soon. The manager told me to leave the store if I wanted to talk to Customer service. I was just sitting on the edge of a sofa just waiting for someone to answer so I could relay the problem to someone in customer service. When in comes two deputy sheriff officers. One came up to me and said stand up and interlace your fingers behind your back, asked if I had any weapons then escorted me outside to talk. It was the most humiliating time in my life. I've purchased thousands of dollars' worth of furniture from Ashley in the past and could not believe they would treat a customer as bad as they did. I am an 84-year-old veteran, with a 803 credit score never been arrested or sued by anyone, and I was treated like criminal. I've personally started about four companies, and one was an office furniture store. The manager Ed Flores should be fired from his position and be schooled on how to handle customer complaints and not just call the sheriff! I've tried calling their customer service number many times since and yet to ever have a person answer the phone. Ashley furniture is perhaps the worst company I have ever had the experience to deal with in my life. They should look at the service that a company like wayfair offers. read more
