    Won't even close completely

    Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. I have sent emails and been calling off the hook, they delivered my dresser damaged and the drawers won't even close all the way. Customer service won't help since they're for online only and this store is a franchise. They can't even find me in the system. Thousands of dollars on a broken dresser that I can't return or get replaced. I can't believe they're still in business.

    I personally stopped in and spoke with the manager of this store who told me his name was Aldi. After I learned that my daughter and her future fiance's couch which is broken was delivered only 6 months ago. He told me that a repair technician would contact my future son-inlaw to schedule a repair No one called. I called the warranty repair line but no one answerd it within 15 minutes. The quality from the outside looks good but the arms under the padding are very cheap cardboard or something similar. See attached picture.

    Ashley has a great selection of furniture, but it makes no difference if they can't deliver and assemble it. These people are LAZY. I ordered a dining room table that they were supposed to deliver and assemble. When they arrived there was an existing dining room table in the area that we wanted the new table to go. They said that they could not assemble the table because there wasn't any space to do so. They never stated that by simply moving the table and making space, that they could assemble the table. As they were leaving, I told them that I moved the table and made room. I asked them to come back into the house and assemble the table. CLEARLY there is enough room (see the photo below). They idled in front of my house for over 10-minutes. I thought they were going to come back in, but they drove off. BEFORE they refused to put the table together, my existing table was on the far wall, directly under the thermostat, which I would argue was still enough room to put the table together. Still, we moved our existing table of the area completely, and clearly there was enough room. My house is over 4000 square feet. There IS room. This could have totally been avoided if they simply told us that we needed take 15-seconds to move the table even further out of the way, waited for us to do so, and then assembled the table. ALSO...For the item that they did manage to deliver, the doors were installed BACKWARDS (see photo attached). Like I said...LAZY.

    TWO WRONG PILLOWS SHOULD HAVE BEEN KINGS THIS STORE IS A JOKE THEY STILL HAVE NOT FIXED THIS ISSUE!!!

    This store is a complete joke!! Bought 2 KING pillows got delivered queens called to let them know to exchange 1 month later they barely ship me the replacement and guess what QUEEN AGAIN they literally are the worst store ever complete headache they never answer their phones and my problem has still not been solved all we hear is excuses WHEN WILL THIS GET SOLVED!!! DO YOU GUYS A FAVOR DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

    After six days since i went to the store there's been no communication from Ashley's management in the store or regional. No phone calls no emails nothing!

    TLDR: Buy furniture anywhere but here. Purchased March 21st and still waiting for items as of June 16th. I am so mad at myself for not checking the reviews before buying here. I have a similar story as the others and agree, I feel like this is a scam. If you're considering Ashley, just don't. If you do, at least go in with the expectation that it'll be an absolute nightmare. Picking out and purchasing furniture was soooo easy! Then it came down to actually getting the furniture.... March 21st: We were informed by our sales rep that delivery would be between 6-8 weeks "but don't worry because shipping is getting better and there is a good chance you'll get it sooner that that." OK great, we can deal with that. 7 weeks come along and we ask for an update. I inform the lady we were told between 6-8 weeks and she casually states oh noooo no no, it's closer to 10-12 weeks. UM WHAT?! Fast forward and we get 3 calls in a week all from different people all informing us of different delivery dates. Each time they'd call the delivery date was pushed out even more and each time they'd call they'd also ask if we'd like to do a partial delivery. YES! For the 3rd time send us what you have. 9 weeks after purchasing we get SOME of our bedroom furniture (which had several scratches and an entire drawer that was broken) and SOME of our couch. Will post updates as this nightmare progresses.... UPDATE #1: Ashley was able to get a replacement dresser for the broken one within 2 days. WOW! How amazing is that?! LOLJK they sent the wrong one...Honestly, deliver drivers and the people who schedule the delivery have been awesome and are the only reason why I'm not fuming right now. MAY 29th: One week after update #1 we recieved a replacement for the broken dresser. Again, delivery people were awesome. However *pro-tip* just plan on being home all day on delivery day, their delivery "window" is not a thing and they'll show up whenever they get to you. 10 weeks later we are still waiting for the rest of our sectional and bed frame. JUNE 9th: 11 weeks after purchasing we have a full couch (YAY) and part of a bedframe.... June 13th: Get confirmation that the rest of the bed will be delivered on 6/16. Prepare area for delivery and ensure I am available to recieve it. ON 6/16 I recieve a text update confirming my delivery for 6/17. It was changed at 8am on the day it was supposed to be delivered. UGH!

    Particleboard and veneer sold as oak. Took less than a year and money spent towards a useless warranty!

    Update June 26th 2023 I requested within my warranty to have my table fixed that literally started to peel at the top of the table and bow up! I was denied help to fix my table that I was told is so sturdy and basically indestructible will hold up while having kids and a husband and hasn't even lasted a year!! Want to know why it's falling apart less than a year later?? Because the whole thing is made up of veneer and particularlboard!!! That is not what it claims when you buy it! I have furnished my whole house several times with Ashley furniture not to mention gifts for family members... never again!! I feel like a fool! Take my warning and run! By the time you're done spending you can get quality furniture from someone who handmade it and will match your design

    My experience has gotten worse - regardless of the owners response to my last email. The staff at Ashley are willing to make repairs to my furniture but at a cost to me. They did repair the chair but the table will cost me additional money. Sort of defeats the purpose of the extended warranty.

    We are sleeping comfortably and soundly on a new certified organic Savvy (Serenity style)…read moremattress. The mattress is a 3-layer, 3 inches thick latex. Each layer has 9 thickness options (soft to firm), that can be split on each side of the bed for each sleeper's preference. The sturdy organic cotton casing has organic wool batting quilted inside. Why buy an organic mattress? Think of it like this. Organic vegetables are healthier because they don't have chemical pesticide residues. Likewise, organic mattresses do not have all the chemicals that run-of-the-mill mattresses are made of, like toxic flame retardants and phthalates. These chemicals out-gas. So why breathe any toxins that may effect your health? Why sleep on a bed of toxic chemicals? I digress! Now to Dennis and Plank and Coil. My wife and I made probably 3 trips in to the store to test drive a store full of organic mattresses. Naturepedic, Organipedic, Savvy rest, Palm Spring, Vispring are some varieties to try. How to test drive a mattress? Lay on several and compare. Dennis is the Driver's Ed mattress instructor with knowledge and patience to help you compare the choices. It is important to lay about 15 minutes on any mattress that your are considering to see how your spine, hips, limbs, neck and booty feel and fit the mattress. Is there sink or sag? Do you float cloud like or roll around like a jelly fish? Any limbs go numb? And relaxing those 15 minutes on the mattress, perhaps, you doze off or snooze a bit. That clinched the deal for me! Plank and Coil - is the way to sleep nirvana on an organic mattress! Also, the delivery team are mattress experts. They help with the set-up and positioning of the new mattress, pads, toppers, core and all accessories and ensure your bed frame has the right support for the mattress. In our case they recommended additional wood slats between the welded steel slats on our Room & Board frame. So there you have it! We spend about 1/3 of the time in the bed. Why not get the best and healthiest rest? I believe that is an organic mattress. We love how we sleep now! My mind is resting knowing "NO TOXINS IN BED WTIH ME!" Plank & Coil selections and expertise, no sales pressure, made the choice for us easy-peazy! All mattresses have warranties and return policies to check out! I recommend check out Plank & Coil!

I had fleeting thoughts of a voodoo doll somewhere with my name on it... my back was in such a bad state that it hurt just to breathe deeply. My mattress was trying to murder me in my sleep. Even my cat wouldn't sleep on the crappy old thing. At my chiropractor's office, my masseuse told me she had just bought a fantastic new mattress at Parklane for less than $800.00. After my chiropractic and massage appointment, I headed directly to Parklane in the Pearl District. The fellow in the store was low key and I didn't feel any pressure to buy. He left me alone and let me flop around on all the mattresses. I found a couple that I was really interested in but I didn't purchase that day. I ended up coming back a few days later and trying them all again. I'm told the folks there don't work on commission. They just want you to get a mattress that you'll be happy with and found one, I did. Just like Burgerville, they make it to order so it takes about a week for your mattress to be ready. Now, delivery was a bit more frustrating. They have a two hour appointment window and mine was between 10am and 12 noon, which is not during rush hour or anything so I am still wondering why they were an hour late. They even called to tell me they were 10 minutes away and were still 40 minutes late after that call. In addition to being late, they did not have on their paperwork that they were supposed to recycle my old mattress. I had paid $25.00 for the recycling service. Thankfully, they did take the old one away. I did appreciate that the delivery fellas wore shoe covers before coming into my place. It has been almost a week now. I roll out of bed with ease; no more bad back. My cat now sleeps curled at my feet. I spent exactly $712.00 to have a new mattress (sans box spring) delivered to my door and installed upon my Murphy bed frame and my old one recycled. I did spend an hour fuming because they were late delivering it. Overall, I am pleased because now I sleep so comfortably. The showroom we went to was clean and the sales staff was professional. They provided very informative details and supplied clean pillows to demo the floor model mattresses. We made our selection and felt very happy with our purchase. The mattress was promptly delivered without any hassle or fuss. A few months pass and we begin to notice the mattress loosing its firmness, I am 300 lbs and 6'-6" and am hard on equipment usually and was expecting some usual wear. We waited another few years and really began to have problems with the mattress, pocket springs being stubbornly stiff and no longer providing cushion. Various hot spots feeling unreasonable for sleeping. We went to the Parklane mattress store in the Pearl and poked around looking for something else, we were met with the same consistent excellent customer service and were informed of Parklane Mattress' generous warranty. We were abundantly pleased and promptly contacted Jon and Debbie with their warranty division. We completed some paperwork and sent in some photos. The warranty process was seamless and was beautiful. No hassle, egregious stipulations, or red tape, just simple human to human interaction. Within a few days the delivery personnel came on schedule, removed the previous defect mattress and replaced it with a beautiful new mattress. We are thrilled with our new mattress and are sold for life with this brand! Sleeping on their product everyday is a dream and knowing that this brand actually stands behind their product makes us feel reassured. This company reaches above and beyond the call of duty. Very reliable and consistently exceeds expectations!

Then, I got to the parking lot, and still couldn't find it, so I called again. Same thing, it went to voicemail. Within 30 seconds, the store called back, saying "I see that you called twice, can I help you?" "Yeah, I can't find you." Erin stayed on the phone, and guided me to the store, using landmarks in this huge parking lot. Okay, so I finally get tom the store, and wanted to see the Shiitake X-Chair. Erin it to showed me. It was definitely a mushroom color, but the manufacturer insisted that it was a dark green. Erin started a chat with the manufacturer and sent them a photo. So many people rely on the photos on websites, but what if it's the wrong photo? I asked Erin if she could order a new one from the manufacturer to see what color shows up. "Sure thing!" I would say this is great customer service.
