This was my third stop of the day looking for mattresses. The two other places I visited didn't seem that interested in helping me find what suited ME the best. I was greeted immediately by the employee, Cheryl Iannotti, who asked me a few questions about what I was looking for. Without smothering me, or making me feel like a shoplifter, she had me lay on three different mattresses to see which one suited me (wow, novel idea I know). I got a great deal because it was a "last one, floor model", and I asked to utilize the new "flex pay" program they started. Cheryl had not yet walked through that program, but like a trooper she dove right in. She spent a considerable amount of time getting my purchase written up, the application done and all my questions answered. Oh, and did I mention she was the only person working? Each time someone else came into the store she immediately greeted them and asked if I minded if she stepped away to help them. Cheryl made my buying experience great. I purchased my very first mattress at a Bed Mart store off Foster in Portland, Or over 25 years ago. Since then I have purchased a total of five mattresses and will never go anywhere else to purchase a mattress. At the Airport Way bed mart outlet store, Cheryl has sold me a bed in 2013 and I'm back getting a new bed from her again. She talked over the phone about my needs and concerns and when I came in to the store she had two mattresses in mind. She was right on the mark. I was in and out of the store within a half hour I would say from picking out my mattress to doing the financing. I have to give kudos to David as well, he was so patient with my crazy butt. He is a huge part of my purchase as well as Cheryl. They both worked good together. Please trust me when I say you will get the best treatment and the best mattress if you go there. I had fallen and had medical care needs which landed me in a skilled nursing home. My wife wanted me to be comfortable when I was ready to come home so she went into BedMart on Airport Way and met Cheryl. Cheryl asked my wife about types of beds she was thinking of (and not wanting), pricing range desired, style, etc. My wife told me she was pleased with how Cheryl helped her find the perfect mattress and set for my needs with the understanding we could bring it back if it didn't suit MY desires. Unfortunately, it wasn't firm or low enough for me so we went back to the store wondering how an exchange would be handled. Cheryl handled it with professionalism, poise and a friendly demeanor. What a great BedMart location! A friend told me about this "outlet" location and I was surprised to find such great product available at an affordable price. My husband and I have been in need of a new mattress for awhile, but have held off due to finances. We wanted a good mattress that would last more than a few years, but we weren't ready to pay thousands of dollars for it. Matt, our sales associate at BedMart, greeted us upon arrival and showed us plenty of options in our price range. He was knowledgeable about everything from mattress types and heights to pillows and sheets. He asked us relevant questions, shared product knowledge and we ended up leaving with a new mattress, box spring, frame and pillows. He even helped us secure it in our truck. Had the best experience at the Beaverton location with Cheryl, who is originally from the BedMart near the airport! We got a great comfortable couch and accent chairs for a even better price. Cheryl was so professional and experienced. She really helped answer all of our questions and was very patient with our indecisiveness. She did not pressure us at all and let us look at all the furniture without hovering. She was extremely helpful every step of the way. Shopping for a new mattress is a bit of a daunting task, especially when you have a bad back and are worried about making such a big investment with something that is core to how your back feels. Cheryl Lehto at the Airport Way store was great. She understood my concerns about cost, because with my back I really need a higher end mattress, and was able to not only find the one I was interested in at a lower cost (due to having a floor model/customer return one available) but to even have it delivered FOR FREE the next day. WooooHooooo!!! Buying my first mattress was made easier with Matt's assistance. I've always had hand me down beds when family members purchased a new one. I was sick of sleeping on better beds when I traveled than I do at home & I am in school so don't have a lot of money to spend. We had been to a few other furniture stores in the area and were bombarded by sales folk, this wasnt the case with bedmart. Cheryl, the store manager, welcomed us in and let us browse at our own leisure, there was no pressure to buy, but with prices as good this place you likely will. I have got an awesome mattress, recliner, 2 twins sets, full set, couch and loveseat over the years with them. Cheryl is usually the one I work directly with and she is great!
