Management was rude, almost insulting! My sales rep was helpful and i could tell he tried to show us around. But their manager kept making rude comments to the sales rep such as "Are they actually looking around?" And "How much money do you guys have?" We've purchased many pieces of furniture from this Ashley location over the last 13 years, and historically have had really good experiences with sales staff, purchasing and delivery. Among our most recent purchases was a tv stand in the fall of 2017. Great sales staff, great price and quick delivery of a good quality product...as was our usual experience. However, in April of 2018, we bought a sectional couch, rang up by someone who didn't seem like he really knew what he was doing, as he kept asking for help to ring us up, and we were told our delivery date would be in mid-July. We were shocked by the long wait, but we decided it was ok. Not long before the scheduled delivery date, we received a call that the delivery date would have to be pushed even further back. We decided to go in and cancel the order. Waiting a fourth of a year for our couch to be delivered already seemed ridiculo, and we weren't willing to wait longer. I have to say, the lady that did our refund was professional and did her job with excellence. I'd consider using Ashley Furniture again, but maybe not this location because it seems like things aren't what they use to be here...maybe someone from corporate should examine this store closely and make any necessary changes. We took our business to another furniture company and had a new living room suit within two weeks. ============= Response to Ashely's reply; Since we were refunded and cancelled our order with you, then subsequently, made our furniture purchase elsewhere, I see no reason in contacting anyone from Ashley at this point. I bought a mattress and was promised by the salesman that if there was any issue Ashley would make it right. The mattress that was delivered is hard as a rock and not at all comparable to the one that customers have to "test". I called the first morning after it was delivered. Customer service said once the plastic came off there was nothing they could do. Repeated calls and store visits have yielded nothing but more of the same. Ashley has misrepresented the product and committed fraud by delivering a product that is in no way what I bought. They have refused to honor their word in any way. I will never shop there again nor would I suggest anyone else do so as you cannot trust anything they say as truth. John the store manager LIED (too much) ordered 2 sofas in March(he sqid they would come in April) got one at the end of June and on July 17th(yesterday) we finally got the second one) John lied every chance he got, He lent us a LOANER sofa in March(yes, charged to my card) Kayomi the sales person told us 3 or 4 times that he is BREAKING THE LAW for us! On 9|23 I ordered a beautiful bedroom set, dresser, two night stands and a tufted bed frame. After processing the order I was told the dressers would be delivered in a week and that the bed frame would be delivered in 6-8 weeks. The dresser and night stands were delivered as promised. Then 8 weeks approached and we had heard nothing. We contacted the store to question where our order was and we were informed there was some type of confusion and our delivery date was scheduled for January of 2019. Obviously we weren't pleased and somehow the person on the phone said it could be delivered sooner, 11|27 between 4 and 7 pm. At 7:10 pm on 11|27 we called again to figure out what was going on when our furniture still hadn't arrived. We were informed our delivery ETA was now between 7:25 and 7:55. Why are we having to call to get this information instead of being informed along the way? At 7:51 we received a text message saying they would be here in 15 minutes. A few minutes later we receive a call from the delivery man that they can't deliver our bed frame because both pieces weren't on the truck. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have had. Beside the fact that I've already started making payments on furniture I haven't even received in full, I feel that the company does not value their customers and business. I feel as though we were treated like we were important until we signed a contract and bought the furniture but after that we didn't matter. We canceled our delivery and went to the store to speak to a manager. The solution we were given was to refund our delivery fee, and that's it. For all of our inconvenience, moving furniture, having our home ready, waiting around all day, to get offered a refund on the delivery that never took place. Horrible service. We paid 3k for a mattress and it's 5yrs old we bought their mattress cover as we were directed to because if stains got on the mattress then it would void the warranty. Well we did that put in a warranty claim because the mattress has failed and is shifting from right to left. it has been given me severe back issues for the past 6 months I'm in and out of the chiropractor. So they send a technician out the mattress is clean on top and elsewhere and they voided my 10yr warranty because they said that it's two stains on the mattress which is a bunch of crap!! So if that's true which it's not then why did I spend and extra 125.00 for a dumb Ashley's mattress cover if the whole thing is a setup from the start? The mattress is 5yrs old it's not going to look new!!! I will never buy from here again neither will my family and friends because the warranty is a big JOKE!! I had problems with my delivery but this is why I gave it 5 stars. Everyone has problems and mistakes but it's how you respond that makes all the difference. I ordered a mattress and 2 pillows .on delivery day only the pillows showed up. I was not happy. I called the people that handle the delivery and they had me a bed in a few hours and resolved everything quickly and to my satisfaction . That is customer care after the purchase. One star because the system doesn't take negative numbers. Bought a bedroom set and two lamps on May 26th, 2014. They have scheduled and then failed to deliver the furniture 9 (NINE) times. I have take 9 days off work without pay. The income I lost I could have bought several bedroom sets. Customer service repeatedly promises but fails to deliver. They are rude on the phone, when I call to ask why the truck hasn't arrived they have (1) denied that we ordered the furniture (2) Once we took a copy of the receipt to them, they claimed it was out of stock. Very disappointed with my delivery. Purchased all my furniture in the first week of July and had to wait until August 13 for a delivery. Finally the day comes and the sofa sleeper we ordered was defective and they forgot to add the rails for a bed we ordered. Delivery guy was great and connected us with someone that said our rails would come in 5-7 days starting Monday (more waiting). The delivery guy also said someone from customer service would contact us referring to the defective sofa sleeper. No one ever contacted us. I just moved to Texas from Minnesota and was looking for new furniture for my apartment and read all of the bad reviews from the Ashley furniture here. I was really reluctant to come in and purchase my new furniture here because of the bad reviews. I looked at all of the furniture stores around the area and found that Ashley had the best selection, quality and prices around. Once I came in I commented to the saleswoman about the reviews and why I was reluctant to buy there. She told be it was because they just got a new shipping system and that now its working better and the problems listed on the google reviews have been resolved. I decided to buy all of my furniture there. It arrived on time and wasn't damaged. I am very happy with the service and product from Ashley Furniture and hopefully they keep it up! In January of this year (2018), I put a bedroom set on layaway at the Live Oak location of Ashley Furniture. I made payments in January and February and in March decided to add a sectional for my living room and made another payment at that time. I continued to make payments and on July 30, 2018, I decided to pay the balance and have everything delivered. I called the store to make the payment and was told by Anthony (Sales Manager) that my collection had been discontinued in April. Now they never informed me the collection was had been discontinued. Now let me clarify, the term "Layaway" means "a system of paying a deposit to secure an item for later purchase." This exactly what I thought and was intending to do. Apparently, Ashley Furniture does not view this in the same way. They did not set aside the collection I selected and made payment towards. They did take my payments knowing the collection was no longer available. Anthony said he would attempt to locate the items I had selected. This took two days and then he guaranteed it would be delivered two days later. When I received the delivery confirmation text and email the day before delivery, it only listed 3 items being delivered the next day. So I called the store for a solid hour and could not reach a live person. It was just a round of menus. So I drove to the store. This is when I met Jessica Simpson. After a short discussion with her, I was told the items Anthony found were all floor models and he had not found all the pieces like he stated. I wanted the entire collection not pieces so I asked for a refund. Jessica stated absolutely and started the process. Well in this process, I discovered I had actually overpaid the amount of my layaway. Now they owe me the refund for the bedroom set and for the overpayment. Now, its two weeks later and I still don't have full refund. Today I spent two hours, yes two hours in the store waiting for a resolution. Megyn (whose name was posted on the wall as "Manager on duty" (but her name badge stated Customer Care Specialist), suggested I call customer care. I had tried multiple times using the number. While on hold, you are given the option to select to hold your place in line and the next available operator would call you back. After multiple tries, I never received a call back. I told Megyn she needed to call and she did. I sat there while she waited for someone to answer. It took 45 minutes. After a 30 minute call with customer care, it was determined that all of my payments were in the system and she agreed there had been an overpayment. However, no one had put any notes in the system about an overpayment. She would have to wait for the manager tomorrow to override the system. Of course, she does not come in tomorrow until 1 pm and the manager does not come in until 2 pm. This store took payments for items they did not have. This wrong, wrong, wrong and they are in no hurry to correct the situation! read more

Ashley Home Store warranty repair, the absolute worst anywhere. The motor stopped working on the powered recliner that I purchased at Ashley in November 2018. I called the store and they gave me an e-mail address to write to with the requirement to attach a video of the problem. I created the e-mail and attached a video (45 seconds) and it wouldn't transmit indicating the video was too big to send. I made another video (15 seconds) and again too big. I finally just sent photos of the chair and the non-working buttons. One week later I heard nothing so called the store again. I was on hold for twenty minutes and the call hung up. I called back, was on holding for forty minutes and finally gave up. I went back to the store and was told that they'd send an emergency note to have them call me. Another week went by and again nothing. Not wanting to sit on hold forever I revisited the store and this a young salesperson told me that the motor in my chair was no longer covered by the warranty as it had exceeded one year. I told him the warranty I received with the chair showed five years. He said that only covered the reclining mechanism, not the motor. I asked him to show me where the warranty showed only one year of protection on the motor. He was unable to do so. By now I was livid. I told them that I'd file a claim with the Better Business Bureau as well as flood social media with my thoughts about Ashley Furniture. Finally, the store manager came to talk to me. He indicated that his salesperson was wrong and that the motor was covered. He gave me another 1-800 number to call to get the chair serviced, which one again had me on hold for 45 minutes, and again finally disconnected. This has been a total nightmare. Yesterday while I was out shopping for groceries, my wife got a call from a Bridget (call back # 877-314-8457) who told my wife that they'd order a motor for the chair as a "courtesy" but we'd have to hire someone outside of Ashley to get it installed. First of all, this wouldn't be a courtesy as my written guaranty that accompanied the chair shows that the reclining mechanism is covered for five years. It also shows that labor is only covered for one year. I'm fine with that, however, I assume that Ashley would send out a person to install the motor and I'd pay the fee for that. Needless to say, I called the number that Bridget left, was on hold for twenty minutes and it disconnected. I tried to do this two more times with the same result. Today I sent a detailed e-mail to Ashley headquarters and got a return e-mail stating that they are not currently responding to e-mails. I went on their website and entered the information into their pop-up chat assistant. I finally got a real person (Nelshana) and sent her all the details of my problem. She told me that the motor was not covered even though the store manager, Jose Guerra, told me it is. She indicated I could order and pay for a motor for $140 plus another $130 or more for installation. I asked for her supervisor and she said that person is unavailable. Once again, another avenue without a resolution. As a side note, I've purchased items from Rooms to Go, and Star Furniture and has issues that needed to be dealt with. Both stores had someone at our house the very next day. To say I'm dissatisfied would be a massive understatement. You can buy from this store but anything goes wrong, you're screwed. What a great place to shop. We went in last night with an idea and we walked out with a whole new living room set. It was fantastic. We were greated right at the front door and Lindsey had helped us before and we requested her again. She was awesome and would listen!!!! to what we liked and didnt like and she would show us a new set till we found something we both loved. She would show us something and then sit back and let us discuss it. She wasnt pushy, nosy, or over the top. I enjoyed the way she mixed friendliness and professionalism to create an experience which has now made us Ashley repeats. We will come back and shop because the price rocked and the service was impecable. The only negative is when we "checked out". The girl must have been new because i specifically asked to see the price list before we ran the credit card and she said yes. Not only did i not see it but after the card was run, another employee had to remind her to have us sign some documentation and said it was supposed to be before our card was run. She was still polite and it did not take away from our experience. I really wish I would've read the reviews before I shopped here. Very disappointed with this place. Went in last week to look at beds, ended up ordering a mattress and bed from the Urbanology collection. Apparently it's popular and new, so we were told we had to wait a whole month. To make up for it, we would be receiving loaner rails. Conveniently after the 48 hour return policy was up, we get a call saying the rails are on back order so we had to wait. I called the store, after being on hold for 20 minutes while the lady was avoiding handing the phone to a manager, they were able to find some and problem was resolved. Not. Received my mattress today. And guess what I did not receive? Rails! Because there back ordered. Now I'm waiting for another girl to speak with management on how to resolve this issue. I purchased a wooden cabinet for my home. The first delivery had to be returned because it had not been assembled at the warehouse & one of the door hinges was broken. The second delivery the cabinet was assembled but they didn't include the shelf. I cannot use it without the shelf. I didn't think to open it until the delivery people had already left. I attempted to contact the manager who sold me the furniture. He would not call me back. All I wanted was the shelves, it should have taken someone an hour or two to deliver the shelves. Instead I have had to wait 3 weeks to finally have my cabinet complete. I am so angry. I was suppose to have a delivery at 1:45 p.m. today, and at 11:00 a.m. I hear someone banging on my door like they are going to break into my house. Guess who it was? Ashley delivery driver looked at me like he was mad a the world. Just a rude experience all the way around!! I will never shop at this store again. Ordered my bed and headboard 12/29 I was told delivery would be on 1/2/16, I called the delivery line on 1/2/16, the gentleman that answered told me he couldn't find my account and transferred me to the store( Live Oak). The lady that answered told me exactly like this" the person that transferred you over, transferred you because he didn't have the balls to tell you that you won't be getting delivered today, supposedly I had a hold on my credit application. I asked for a manger because I just had sold my bed, I was given Matt in which he advised me that he had a porter and he was going to verify the bed was still in the store and see about having that delivered to me so I wouldn't have to sleep on the floor, of course no call back. I called back that evening and spoke with Julia and she didn't know anything about what was going on. I explained to her and she said she would inform Matt to contact me after his Sunday morning meeting, guess what no call. I called Sunday evening got Javier and he knew a little of my situation said my credit was fine and unsure why I had a hold but since it was Sunday he couldn't call the credit center because they were closed but told me he would contact me Monday no later then 3pm, guess what no call back so I called and spoke with Jorge and he said he would contact me 20 to 30 min and it's been over an hour, I called the headquarters and spoke with sherry and she said she would call back to love oak and see about having a mattress delivered today and guess what??? No call back. I had to call back for the 4th time today and Jorge told me that his email has not been responded to so he is unaware of my delivery date. I demanded the main manager and advised I need a mattress this evening, he put me on hold and guess what??? He transferred me to the call center, the representative said he was a manager at the call center and told me that he didn't see a hold on my account and that he saw a delivery date of the seventh, I said I need to speak with live oak to get a mattress today. Spoke with Julia again and she said it's still on hold unsure of the delivery date but since no issues are with my credit she would see if I can get next day flight, so The soonest I could get my mattress that's still at the store would be tomorrow and advised that she will get with her manager and she would call me back soon. Should I assume I'm going to get a call back? I've had enough with them, I'm about to have an anxiety attack because of all this stress they are putting on me. I tell you this is the worst experience ever, worst customer service, not true to their word, don't care about the customers just the sale! I bought a couch and chair from Ashley's Home Store. The couch is great, I am very happy with it. However the chair when they delivered it was the wrong one. So I called and talked to the store and they were very sorry, told me they would fix it. When it was delivered the 2nd time it was still the wrong chair. So that time i went to the store and talked to a manager. He told me again how sorry he was. That he would send the right chair out to me. At this point its been over a month since I ordered the chair. So the right chair was supposed to be delivered tonight. The delivery guy called me, I gave him directions to the house, he told me he would be here in 10 minutes. Well the chair never came. I called the customer services they cannot get ahold of the driver. They tell me to talk to the store. So I go to the store. Tell them to cancel my order and give me my money back. This is in regards to the Ashley distribution center in San Antonio, Texas. We purchased a living room set from the Ashley store in Live Oak. Our delivery date was changed from Dec. 21 to Dec. 17th and just two days before the 17th, to the 23rd, two days past the original delivery date. I took time off work to be there the 17th and I lost a whole day of work for nothing. I was told the delivery charge would be refunded but this still does not compensate me for time lost at work because I have to leave work again today, the 23rd, to be there for the delivery. This is poor planning and scheduling by the distribution center. Not only that, after receiving a voice recording telling me my furniture would FINALLY be delivered between 1:30 and 4pm on the 23rd, I was called by the delivery driver at 11:30 telling me he would be there at 12pm. I told him I would not be there because I was told it wouldn't be delivered until 1:30 and I was at work. He then proceeded to tell me that they would be there exactly at 1:30 and if they had to wait 5-10 minutes after 1:30 they would have to leave. Really? Treated like crap again? After spending over $3,000 in furniture up front? I will never be returning to this store after this horrible and infuriating experience. read more

This store and company is an absolute JOKE! Purchased 2 leather couches in July of 2019. By September a staple was sticking out from the arm of the couch, scratching 2 of my 3 children because Ashely furniture said DO NOT remove staple until "warranty" can come take look. Well they came and took a look and did not remove staple, causing yet another scratch and tearing of the leather. Another warranty guy comes out, finally pulls the staple, and states he is going to put in for a new couch because of the damage to the leather. But NOOOOO, Ashley furniture says they will just replace the leather......a SIX HOUR job! Ok, cool, I don't have a full time job or anything!! Fast forward to 2/20 and couch is still NOT fixed, waited around all day last Saturday for NOBODY to show up! Ashley says they have pictures, but me being home all day waiting for them, as well as Ring doorbell and security camera says That's A Lie!!! These people are a complete joke, and don't give 2 hoots about anyone or anything! Worthless furniture and customer service that's for damn sure!!! read more

Ashley has been the worse experience !! In October we went in purchased our kitchen table with chairs and also our living room set over 4,000 in cash to be delivered in December then in the beginning of December we went back to purchase our bed room furniture along with our son's bedroom furniture also in cash. Well December 13 arrives and the first set we purchase kitchen table has a crack in it ,chair is stripped, the coffee table is not leveled and the sofa was good. So called customer service and they said oh we can send a repair person out in 2 weeks to repair the items. Ummm no I want new items I payed for new not damaged .. so 2 days later they bring a chair out ... 2 days after that they bring another chair out then till this day I still have not received my table and for coffee table we fixed on our own ... 2nd order is even worse.... we received our mattress first with the wrong base ...we have to go back to the store in live oak to see what's going on .. and they tell me oh a wrong number was entered by just 1 number off. So this caused me to get my stand 1 week later ... dresser was damaged repair person came out to fix and he said oh this dresser is broken all the gliders need to be replaced .. so no I don't want new gliders I want a new dresser .. so called customer service after they left and had them schedule a delivery for 12/30 .. still waiting on footboard and headboard and rails.. 12/28 foot board and headboard arrive but they mentioned that the rails were broken and should be in on 12/30 . Well today I received the new dresser but no rails ... called dispatch and they told be oh the rails are not scheduled for deliver untill 1/4/2010 .. the agent did mention the rails are at the warehouse if you want to go pick them up.... so why aren't they delivered with the rest of my stuff. Well needed up picking them up myself ... this is half the story .. at this point the manager for the location is on vacation and will not be back untill after the holidays. Ashley's delivery drivers have been to our home about 15 times in the last 20 days there customer service is very ridiculous. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. If you want your credit run more then 5 times without your knowledge, salesman who lie about furniture on sale being sold out then this is the best place for you. All we needed at the time was a bed frame and a dresser while we were settling in after a move. Seems straight forward right? Wrong. When you first walk in the store you are literally harassed by sales people. It was like walking into a lions den with each sales person trying to one up the next. We seem to have awesome luck and ended up with by far the most incompetent salesman who was unsure how to work the computer. We picked a bedroom set and we were all set to go. Our salesman got us approved for credit to the store by having us lie on the application, combine incomes, and continued to tell us we were good to go. We hesitated but we thought whatever, were both military we won't have any issues. In the process of doing the paperwork where our salesman couldn't even spell our names right let alone get the address we live at correct he then proceeded to tell us that the bedroom set we want was out of stock and to pick another one. Now we had picked one that was on sale, so now we would need to pick a set that was 500 more. Hmm. So we left the store and said we would think about it. We went back the same days after eating and spoke with another salesman who informed us our bedroom set was indeed in stock and that it had not been out of stock at any point that day. We should have left then. But we didn't . We set up delivery for the next week. We got a call saying we needed proof of income. Interesting since they had our LES's. We send them again. After days of phone tag we spoke with the manager who told us we were good to go. Our furniture doesn't arrive ... So we call the store. You would think they would have called to tell us that we wouldn't get our furniture since they are supposedly a reputable business. We were wrong yet again. It was only after we called and were on hold for 20 minutes we found out we weren't getting the furniture, and our approval was canceled. All in all if you want your credit ruined by the store running it multiple times, and waiting all day for furniture that doesn't arrive this is the place for you. read more

I give Ashley Furniture @Live Oak 5 stars today solely on the customer service I received from the front desk clerk named Ms. Nakeyya Meadows. She provided such great customer service with us this morning. My husband and I came in this morning very disgruntled with their financing bank, Synchrony Bank, because they were going charge us a large amount of interest on a purchase we thought we were paying all along. Long story short, she listened to our complaint, understood exactly what we were saying, and called the bank herself. She spent over 30 minutes on the phone with them and their manager advocating for us. She was extremely professional, tactful and effective. We were able to come to a compromise and we left there pleased with her effort even though she didn't have to do anything since they usually don't intervene after the sale. I really didn't expect such great customer service with this specific issue but she made us feel glad that someone understood our problem and was sitting there on the phone representing us so well. Anyway, she's a great asset to that team, and because of her we would definitely come back as a repeat customer, but not deal with Synchrony again! read more

I would love to give this place zero stores. I placed an order at the end of July and now at the end of August I still don't have my order, the first few pieces are finally coming in and I have been waiting all day. I was told the delivery would be made between 1-4 and now it is 5 and they're still not here. Very poor customer service, I will be sure to never recommend anyone I know to this company. read more

If it were not for Candice Meza I would have fought for a full refund!! Candice should be running the corporate office. Those people were terrible!! I had three different delivery dates. Brought defective furniture twice. Corporate office wanted to make it my problem. Candice was persistent until I received my merchandise. read more

We ordered a recliner on January 15, 2017 and was told it would be ready for pickup on January 23. Received a call from Ashley stating the recliner would not be ready for pickup until January 26. Called the warehouse on January 26th to schedule the pickup and was told by the warehouseman that the order showed "NOT AVAILABLE". He could not tell me what exactly "NOT AVAILABLE" MEANT so I had to call the store. After calling the store in Live Oak I was told the recliner was discontinued and we would have to come in and choose something else. I asked for a refund and of course we have to wait 5-7 days to get our money back. We will never shop at a Ashley Home Store again, and will tell family and friends about our experience. read more

I wish I could give this store less than a one . We went to the store picked a dining room set , paying cash not financing. The took a ridiculous a amount of time to input the furniture. It seemed like the two of them did not know what they were doing. We get home and when we got the call for delivery they had put the wrong zip code . So that was a call to straighten that out. They said your furniture will be delivered between 10 and 1pm . I took the day off and stayed home waiting. At 2 pm I checked the delivery tracker . It said now it is expected between 5:30 and 7 . After that the time kept being increased till the last time I checked it would be coming at 10 pm . That is ridiculous since after delivery it was going to be assembled . Not sure if we were expected to stay up till midnight while they put it together..I then called customer service to see my options , the woman on the phone actually laughed while I was explaining the problem so we ended up cancellng the furniture . We will see if the money gets refunded without a fight . I will never go back to Ashley Furniture again ! read more

This is the most unprofessional furniture store I have ever come across!! My husband and I went in to the store on Dec. 11 and purchased two recliners - they were delivered on Dec. 15, unfortunately, they were the wrong recliners. We sent them back and called the store to speak with our salesman - we have yet to hear from him. I went out the next day to search for recliners and wound up in another Ashley store, thinking maybe they had something other than what I had already looked at. I told our salesman what had happened, he showed us the same recliners I had previously purchased and said he could deliver them Dec. 23. So, once again I purchased the same recliners. However, due to a mix up in paperwork, this order was canceled!! We talked to a manager who said he could get the recliners to us by Dec. 26. We just heard that they can't be delivered until Jan. 3!!!!???!!!! This will be my LAST experience with Ashley Furniture!!!! Clearly, the client comes last - and what's worse, no one really cares!!! Not long after posting my review, I was contacted by Ashley customer service representative. She was very apologetic about the service we received ( or failed to receive) - but I explained to her that we had already gone to another store and found beautiful recliners - for less - and they would be delivered that same day! She was sorry that our experience at Ashley had been so unpleasant. Very nice phone manners and I do appreciate the call back - so thank you for that. read more

I wish I would have taken the time to read these other reviews before doing my most recent business with Ashley Furniture. Honestly, we had purchased a dresser and couches from them about 4 years ago and my experience at the time was fine (IH-10 and De Zavala location): the quality of the furniture was great and delivery (from what I remember) was as to be expected (i.e. they came on time and got the pieces of furniture here safely). But I do not know if their decent prices on relatively nice quality furniture is enough to make up for our most recent purchases (done at the Live Oak location). I'm currently waiting for a new dresser to arrive that I was told should have been here during a designated time, which ended 30 minutes ago. Typically, I wouldn't have let this bother me as much, but I took off work specifically for this delivery so I'm literally losing money. When I called Customer Support to check on the status of the delivery, the representative told me that the driver still had 3 other deliveries to make and he would me here in about an hour and a half. I asked if they call people when the driver is running late like this, to which she responded "only if the driver tells us they're running late". So I asked "is he just being pokey?". She said, "no a delivery must have just taken longer than expected".... doesn't that mean he's running late?? But this is not the only reason I'm irritated with Ashley Furniture. We also purchased a piece of wall art at the same time we picked out the dresser and were told by the sales rep that we would have it in 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks came and went; low and behold I never received a phone call, so I followed up. The Customer Support rep said the anticipated delivery to the store was not going to be for A MONTH AND A HALF! When I asked her if the art was on backorder or if it typically took this long to arrive, she couldn't give me an answer and just asked if I wanted to cancel the order, which I declined because I really want the artwork. I ended up texting the specific sales rep that was so antsy to sell us the piece inquiring on this delay and he said he would check with his manager, then never got back to me.
