First off, Ashley was the MVP of our wedding day!!! To rewind, we originally met Ashley at a wedding open house event where we took her up on her promotional engagement session, which also happened to be the first time we took professional photos as a couple. She instantly made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. In just 30 minutes, we got dozens of incredible photos that we were able to use all over our wedding website, save the dates, guestbook, and in frames. We loved her editing style - natural with a pop of color. We ended up booking her because we loved her positive energy and felt so confident in her organization. We truly felt like she would be able to run the show and gracefully navigate any situation that the wedding day could throw at us. Our full length engagement session was just as amazing, fun, and high quality, generating more content for our wedding invitations, website, and more. In the lead up to the wedding, we were able to talk and text with Ashley several times to clarify wedding details and she helped us set our full timeline, which directed all of our vendors. Now onto wedding day, Ashley and Tyler executed the photo timeline in stride. Ashley made us feel just as comfortable as our engagement sessions, making it fun, and serving as an additional wedding coordinator and bridesmaid. She cleaned up champagne with her dress and glass out of the aisle, climbed into the bushes to grab the perfect shots in the Vineyard, and helped bustle the wedding dress to make it in time for the grand entrance. When I first met Ashley, I instantly knew she had to photograph our wedding. Her aura was incredible from the very beginning, and the photos absolutely did not disappoint. We chose Ashley Teasley for our engagement and wedding photos in 2019 - and we loved working with her and her husband! We found her through a google search of vendors in the area near our venue, and her easy to use website (with tons of photos) made her approachable. Once we spoke on the phone, we found that she was also easygoing and friendly - always a perk! The natural, bright style of her photos was a perfect fit for us. Our guests felt she was subtle when capturing important moments. She worked well with our day of coordinator and was flexible in adjusting her schedule to accommodate any unexpected events, and even fulfilled our request for photos with certain family members at the end. Overall, working with Ashley was great and we would definitely choose her again if we were to do it over. She communicated well and kept us informed on our options before, during, and after the event. From the first phone call, Ashley took the time to get to know me. Rather than selling me on her and her packages, she asked what I was looking for in a photographer and led me to the right package for me. She's very honest and I was able to trust her instantly. When I told her about my wacky idea of doing our engagement session in a bowling alley/arcade she didn't shy away from the challenge and we HAD A BLAST. We even went bowling with them after our session. This 1:1 time (or I guess, 2:2 time) really helped us feel comfortable during photos at the wedding. Ashley and her husband Tyler are literal angels. We never thought we would be the people to hang up giant pictures of ourselves but we now have a 2 by 3 foot print from our engagement session as well as one from our wedding and that was after massive debate over which ones, and major restraint not to get more. More of that size that is, we printed loads of pictures in smaller sizes. Our house makes us look so self absorbed but we couldn't help it! Screens don't do their art justice and we couldn't narrow it down more. Ashley helped us lay out the time line, rolled with our total lack of planning and unideal lighting, helped us wrangle our dog so he could be part of everything, and then gave us absolutely magical pictures. I have pictures with both my parents for the first time in???? I have pictures of my aunt with her eyes open, possibly for the first time ever. Ashley and Tyler got all the pictures we told them we wanted and loads more on top of that, which we will treasure forever. The bloopers, the laughter, the naughty dog antics are just as gorgeous as the posed shots. Plus Ashley and Tyler are just really cool people and fun to be around. I didn't plan on leaving a review for Ashley, especially 2 years after the actual wedding. But yesterday I was contacted by her for the second time about a negative review my mother-in-law left, who was the one paying for package of $4000 with tacked on fees that brought up the price a lot. Up until the wedding, Ashley was easy to work with and my husband and I liked our engagement photos. We chose her as our photographer because she did one of my husband cousin's wedding and we really liked what she did. The day of the wedding we were denied requests for certain photos requested by myself and my mother-in-law with the explanation of time constraints and lighting. We didn't get pictures of all our family together as requested many times by myself and those I put in charge of running the wedding, I wasn't listened to when expressing concern about the backdrop of some of the pictures she decided to take, but despite this, I understand a wedding is crazy and fast moving and was doing my best to give benefit of the doubt. It was unfortunate but not what left me not wanting to work with Ashley again. After the wedding, I saw blog posts and postings of her other weddings going up and had yet to hear from Ashley about the photos from my wedding. I contacted her at the 18th week mark after my wedding to inquire about the photos and photo book. She told me via email she was exporting the pictures as she typed and would send me a tracking code when she sent the USB. Two and a half weeks passed, I still hadn't heard from her so I sent another polite email concerned about the USB possibly getting lost in the mail. She said she had dropped the ball with my husband and myself and hadn't sent the USB yet. She offered an upgrade from the 8x8 photo album to a 10x10 album to make up for the five months of never receiving the photos. I took the offer and got a tracking number, and the USB roughly a week after that. I heard next from Ashley via text because my mother-in-law commented on another's Facebook inquiry about recommendations for photographers. My mother-in-law did not recommend Ashley Teasley Photography as she was upset with the entire experience; I am much more of a passive person than my mother-in-law. I apologized to Ashley because I hadn't known my mother-in-law commented that and Ashley asked that I tell my mother-in-law to remove the comment because it made her lose a customer. I apologized again for my mother-in-laws comments, said my husband and I were happy with the pictures themselves, but made no promise to make my mother-in-law remove her comment since she is justified to her opinion. She reminded me to choose some photos that were my favorites to use for the album. I got those photos to her a month later in November of 2018. She responded a month later in which time I let her know my husband and I would be moving states in March of 2019 and I would keep her updated. Early March of 2019, I still hadn't heard from Ashley about our album, another five months after we'd gotten our USB and four months after I'd give her our choices for pictures for the album. She responded a week later that the lab she worked with marked it as completed and she would reroute it to the new address if it was sent to our old one. Another three months go by, I haven't heard from Ashley and my first anniversary passed. I emailed Ashley beginning of June, inquiring about the album. She said other brides were also not getting their albums and they had to switch labs because of it. She said the lab she was working with would not give her a tracking number of the previous album being sent out so she would send it "again." She said she'd finish the redesign of the album that weekend and get it sent out and that she would get me tracking when that happened. I didn't hear from Ashley after that, even after we got our 8x8 album which added to my frustration of poor communication through the past year. Though she promised a 10x10, we still got the 8x8 album in a black box with a black cover and no wordings at all for our wedding album. Not wanting to stir the pot a year after my wedding and planning to make a more personalized album for my husband and myself, I moved on from it. Until I got a text from her April of 2020 about a negative review my mother-in-law left again. At this point, I was planning on leaving it be because I don't like stirring the pot and had moved past my frustrations and hurt through the whole experience. Then I saw on Facebook she had put my mother-in-law on blast for leaving an "untrue" negative review, was considering legal recourse, and continually said how I raved about her services. Via response in text, I clarified how I felt and she removed me as a friend and the post she made. Working with Ashley is a hit or miss. I have seen her give brides WONDERFUL work and attention and I have experienced the other side of the coin. If you're looking for a photographer, look elsewhere. read more

Not great quality pictures, not worth your money. Not professional. We had gotten this photographer for a family event and were quite disappointed. At 1st we were not given certain pictures in the "package" that we bought. Took her several months to send, after saying that it was supposedly "sent", when in reality was not. This was such a horrible experience to have dealt with all this lying and waiting. Also she doesn't let you choose the pictures you like, she just comes to your house to with the pictures of her choice and has you download from a thumb drive it to your computer. You don't even get a CD, or an album with prints. When you expect to have a family photo that was taken and when you ask for it, her reply was: "it was too much editiong and was going to cost more $$$$" , without even checking with us 1st if we wanted it and deleting it before we saw it. I wasn't aware she charged extra for editing, I thought it wad included in our package already ( having extra hidden fees). Sadly, I definitely don't recommend going thru this photographer, it's such a head ache trying to contact her to resolve your problems. Look elsewhere. Too expensive and bad quality. Ashley is too good to be true! A month before my wedding, I was in a bind to find a photographer.i reached out to Ashley hoping for a miracle, and so be it, my wish was granted. On such a short noticed she was able to get all of my ideas and logistics.i felt as if I booked her a year ago. Since my wedding was farther, she even arrived earlier to see what shots she could get. She was able to get all the shots I wanted and more! Her and her husband make a great team, half of the time during the reception, I did not even know they were there! They truly capture your special moments with ease. She was even able to herd the groomsmen, which I know was not an easy task! Ashley was our Engagement, Boudoir AND wedding photographer. She was absolutely a joy to work with on all three occasions. During our engagement pictures we had our one year old with us and she was so patient and sweet with her. The photos came out AMAZING and we were excited to get them printed on canvas for our big day. A few months later I booked her for a secret boudoir photoshoot for my fiancé. Needless to say I was extremely nervous and kept giving it second thoughts. She assured me it will be tasteful and worth it. When I was there, Ashley and her make-up/hair staff made me feel so comfortable! By the end of the shoot my confidence was sky high! The pictures turned out VERY tasteful and stunning! I never thought I could look that way! THEN comes the big day. Poor Ashley was suffering from walking pneumonia and barely had a voice. She was there in the highest of sprits and was sure to bring along a THIRD assistant to help when her sickness got the best of her. I NEVER once saw her slow down or give up on us. Its only been a few weeks so we haven't received our final photos yet, but I can only imagine how amazing they will be! LAST, but not least. Ashley reached out to me to grab lunch and said she had a gift she wanted to give to me. We met up and had great laughs and conversation! When she gave me my gift I was absolutely brought to tears.. like ugly crying tears. She got in touch with my sister who sent her photos of me father who I lost to diabetes 4 years ago. She edited him into a photo of my mom and I staring into a mirror together so perfectly that it felt like he was really there. The saddest realization with my wedding was that I would never have a photo with my father. Ashley made that a reality I never thought I would have. I've cried looking at it all day today.
