Ashli Medical Supply My name is Dorothy Brown and I have been a customer of Ashli Medical Supply for several years. I have both an oxygen condenser as well as a ventilator. Every six months they come out and are supposed to give me supplies, check the machines and then annually they are supposed to do a thorough annual check of the machines. I found out today that they are supposed to change the filters in the oxygen condenser as well as three filters in the ventilator. Every other respiratory therapist that has been here has told me that the filter inside the oxygen condenser does not need to be changed. It is an internal filter and after so many years, they just switch out the condenser and the filter is not changed, but alas, today for the first time, their respiratory therapist, Linda came and in a matter of minutes she hooked my condenser up to something that showed the percentage of oxygen that was being produced. Next she popped off a little door at the bottom of the condenser and pulled out a filter that was filthy. Apparently I was correct and it was supposed to be changed once at least every year. It has been at least 3 to 4 years that this has never been changed. She left two sets of tubing for that machine and then went to work on the ventilator. She turned it on and looked at a few screens to check the number of hours that it had been running and then changed not just one filter or two filters on the machine like has been done in the past, no, she changed a third one that I didn't even realize was there. It also was very dirty after being there for 2 to 3 years without being changed. I want to tell this company that they have a diamond in their midst. Linda is amazing. She did more than everyone else has done in all these years put together and in less time showed me how to do a few things that I didn't know how to do. She I s kind, knowledgeable, efficient and everything you would want in an employee. As a customer I ask that you treat her well and compensate her accordingly. I would suggest she be promoted but I actually don't want that because I want her to return as my respiratory therapist in six months and again in a year and so on. Thank you, Linda. read more

Boy was I disappointed in Ashli Healthcare today. I have had a CPAP machine for over 2 years now. I LOVED it! I originally got it from Ashli Healthcare. I went into their store to get it and it was a pretty normal, pleasant transaction. That was back in 2016. Since then I occasionally order supplies from them when I need them.Then in the middle of February 2019 my CPAP machine broke. Yikes! I called Ashli and they told me to bring I right in and they would take a look at it. They were unable to fix it. They gave me a copy of my doctor's original prescription for it and a copy of my sleep study to give my new doctor so he could prescribe me a new one. It was this next part that turned ugly. I went to my dr. armed with a copy of my original sleep study and original cpap prescription. This was in the last part of February. After my doctor tried to re-prescribe it, it was denied because there was some issue with my insurance about how long the warranty was for. My dr. office called Ashli and spoke to someone named named Nick. They explained to him what was happening and apparently Nick called my insurance (we are now into the month of April, approx. April 3rd I think) and Nick left a message for someone at my insurance. When they didnt reply after a day he left a second message. Apparently still no reply. I wait a couple of weeks and call my dr. office because I am jonesing for my CPAP and wishing for a full night's sleep. The gal at my doctor office who handles insurance once again began making calls, btw, unlike Nick at Ashli she has no problem finding people to speak to at my insurance. My insurance explains to her what the issue was and tells her if Ashli will re-submit the information they will authorize my CPAP. I call Ashli Healthcare to relay this wonderful good news... Here comes the trainwreck...apparently "Nick", is the only guy that handles that function. And apparently he is not willing to call them again because they didnt call him back last time and his panties are in a wad. It is now May 2, two months since my CPAP broke. I try explaining what has transpired between my insurance and my dr. office but he does not want to hear it. He interrupts me, he is completely dismissive. He doesnt allow me to explain and begins to tell me that he has already called them and he doesnt have anymore time to call them back. I am in shock. I say, "What?" He goes into this big tirade about how he first began calling them last august (2018) and then again in November (2018) and then in April (2019). He said, "April 3rd to be exact". I am completely befuddled and am trying to make some kind of sense to what he is saying. I mumble, "The 3rd? It's only the 2nd now". Not even realizing I am in the wrong month but, oh, he corrected me. "Dorothy, We're in May now" he said with an exasperated sneer that I could just feel, even over the phone. I tried to explain that he was mistaken as my CPAP didnt even break until February 2019. When I asked for some kind of documentation about his phone call with them back in August of last year he said, "Oh, I see now, in August you were just calling to COMPLAIN about your mask." He says this with an overly dramatic sneer. What!?! I never had a complaint about any of my supplies. I am completely blindsided by all of this and try to ask him about the November phone call to my insurance company where they snubbed him and didnt call him back, which I know DID NOT HAPPEN. He refused to discuss it further because according to him, he was just so busy he really didnt have anymore time to devote to this as he had patients waiting for him that needed their equipment and he needed to go. He was short, rude, condescending and down right snotty. I specifically asked him if he had my records in front of him thinking surely he was mistaking me and this situation for someone else. He assured me he was in fact looking at my information. I have absolutely no idea who this person is and to the best of my knowledge I have had no beef with him in the past. He blatantly lied to me about making phone calls regarding an issue that had not even happened yet and I could tell from his voice he enjoyed every minute of bullying me. It was a sick little game of cat and mouse where he just kept batting me around making sure I new how busy and important he was and how I was not going to get anymore of his time. The conversation ended with him telling me I was denied and was not going to get another CPAP. He had other things to do. I swear I have no idea who this guy is or what he was talking about or why he chose me to humiliate and verbally swat at to make himself feel better about himself but my hope is that his employer records company phone calls. I dont even know if that is allowed but if it is and his boss could listen to that phone call Nick would suddenly find himself with lots of free time. As for me...I guess tomorrow I will start looking for somewhere else to get a new CPAP machine at. read more

I am totally disgusted with Ashli Healthcare. I have my oxygen machine from them I have had my machine for nearly 3 years never had it serviced So this whole time I'm thinking my insurance is paying for this and then I open a letter from them that's what I thought and it's a bill going back from March 2018 and they have given me until the 6th Nov to pay afterwards will be a late fee When I called and asked why they did not call me send me a letter and why they waited over a year They didnt have an answer So with that being said I will be looking for an other oxygen supplier read more

I have worked for this company over a year. I have enjoyed providing the services needed to our patients. I enjoy working with the group of people that we currently have. We all give each other support and help each other out. We have a very busy stressful environment. But having good support from management and coworkers makes the day go by a lot easier. They are flexible and very understanding. Our office Manager doesn't just sit back and watch us work she steps in and helps out as much as she can. She keeps a smile on her face and pushes us to our best ability. We have great delivery drivers who are very quick and responsive. Our Warehouse manager has a great attitude and is a team player and works very well with all CSR's in getting the patients equipment in a timely manner. We have wonderful Respiratory Therapist who are very attentive to our patients Respiratory needs. The owners are very much involved in all aspects of the company, they have positive attitudes and great energy. All in all we have a great team and I enjoy working with everyone. I look forward to many more years at this company. read more
