My husband was craving Chinese food and after passing by a couple of other restaurants, we ended up here. It's take out only and looks like they used to have inside dining pre-Covid. Their menu items are pictured on the wall and take out containers are displayed on a table. The contare marked so you know how many people it can feed which makes the ordering process easy. There are benches against the wall where you can sit and wait for your order. We didn't have a long wait before our order was ready. After getting our order, we selected our sauces and plasticware and were on our way home. The Boneless Spare Ribs were very tender and flavorful as was the fried rice. My husband said that his Pork Lo Mein was very good. The Pork Egg Rolls which came with our combination dinners were crispy and delicious! What absolute nasty person this woman is! I placed a $99 order and asked for the veggies to be on the side and when I went to order It sent me text saying it could not be finished ! So I called the restaurant to see if they got the order and she said yes but I would have to reply back to the text because they only do no vegetables not vegetables on the side so I said ok thats fine then make It no vegetables! I've order takeout from this location multiple times an it's always a solid spot. I do often order their family meal as they have a bit of everything and it's always delicious. Decided to try this restaurant today on this lazy Saturday afternoon. We've been in search of a good Chinese Food restaurant and because of the ratings we saw on Uber Eats we tried it. I had the ribs, pork fried rice, egg roll and chicken wings . The ribs were decent, some parts were tough others were tender. The wings were kinda dark like the oil hadn't been changed but still has a decent flavor. The pork fried rice was flavorful and flaky. The egg roll was the smallest egg roll I've ever had from a Chinese restaurant, it was literally the length and width of my index finger. The food was decent and if there was nothing else open I'd try them again. My search for great Chinese food continues. read more

Persuaded to try this take-out Chinese restaurant in Hollywood based on some pretty good reviews. For starters, Asia 1 is similar to just about every other Chinese restaurant that is basically take-out only; nothing special. I ordered a family meal that was nicely priced that included 2 entrees, fried rice, wonton soup, egg rolls, and crab Rangoon. I also ordered broccoli with shrimp from the diet menu and a large pork lo mein. First entree; pepper steak. This was the highlight of my order. Tasty pieces of beef in a delicious brown sauce. Second entree; beef with broccoli. The beef was different than the pepper steak. It was cornstarch softened and did not have the same beefy flavor. The lo mein didn't have enough other stuff in it, mostly noodles with a few pieces of pork. The wonton soup would have been good if the wontons had something in them. The broth was peppery and absent all things that are supposed to go into wonton soup (pork, bok choy.) The egg rolls were truly awful; tightly rolled with multiple layers of wonton wrapper that were uncooked because it was so tightly wrapped. The filling was almost non-existent. Crab Rangoon were triangular, but very tasty. The fried rice was tasty and not greasy, but again, had very little in it except rice; no egg, no peas, no sprouts and very little pork. The steamed shrimp with broccoli was pretty good with decent sized shrimp. Overall, good, clean, ordinary. Nothing special. Just another Chinese take-out. Definitely better than most in South Florida, but, definitely room for improvement. Very nice lady running the counter!. read more

I picked the egg roll instead of a soda, but it was not my favorite egg roll. The dough was not the best. The pork fried rice was good, but I wish it had more egg. Take out or dine in? Just your average Chinese takeout spot. I ordered the pad Thai, fried rice, Krab Rangoon and honey garlic chicken wings. I did like the krab Rangoon and the wings. Both of them were inexpensive and had good flavor. The pad Thai was a dry version pad Thai, not really a fan of that at all. We ended up just throwing it away. The fried rice was okay and a bit dry. Overall the prices aren't expensive, it's cheap for Chinese food. I like how they have a good variety of food choices and great lunch specials. The staff seemed and it was in a good area. One of the real MVP's during Christmas Eve because they were opened their regular hours. I made a phone call for a pick up and the lady said 10 mins. I got there in 15 mins and the food was ready and still hot. I was more surprised how fast the order took to get ready with all the orders they were getting. Guess that's why they call it Asia 1 lol. Anyways we ordered 2 orders of Crab Rangoon, chicken and broccoli and pad Thai. The crab rangoons were really good and had a lot of filling inside. The broccoli and chicken is one of my favorite Chinese dishes with white rice. They executed it really well. Lastly, I was surprised how great their pad Thai is.
