Hands-down, the best Asian food we've had in Hollywood-Davie. Every order comes packed to the rim with so much food and so much flavor. My wife loves the beef lo mein, she orders it every time. Really there isn't a bad thing on the menu that we've had. If I had one thing to nitpick, I wish they would make the pad Thai spicier. But 2 days ago I made an order at 9:30pm for 9:50pm pick up The guy who took my order said "Don't be late we close at 10pm" that should've been my red flag Ordered 3 meals Orange chicken honey chicken Pad Thai The meat was hard and overcooked crisp burnt nuggets The pad Thai was so bland tasting. I call right away before they closed (I live close) I tell them that the Pad Thai is inedible... don't mention the other stuff bc there were good parts so I ate around it but the noodles were nasty af. I ask if I can get a refund or bring them in the next day af or something else. I planned on getting the Lomain which I had before and it was decent. He tells me no refunds or exchanges if u don't like it since it's their style of making the noodles and that's not their fault. Listen If I could've ate around it I WOULD.. but this was bad and especially seeing as I've spend $60 a order there for the past week I would think they would be accommodating but NOPE. He said he would have his manager call me and I never got a call/ text or VM. (He took down my info) Unfortunately I'm not ordering from here again. Tried the $3 Lo-mein special they have on Mondays and I must say it did not disappoint. For $3 it definitely did what it needed to. HUGE portion size and a good amount of veggies. Would be the perfect side to a protein entree. read more

So we did not get to visit the location in person so I will not be able to speak about the ambience or in person service. However, I can definitely speak to the food and my experience with it for the first time. I learned about this restaurant from a flyer that came to our home. The pictures of the food and the menu options really peaked my interest. I definitely love Japanese style fried rice and I also love sushi. Being as it was a Saturday night with the family we decided to try this for the first time since we moved away from our previous favorite Asian restaurant. We ordered two orders of the sweet-and-sour chicken, along with chicken fried rice, Crab Rangoon, and then I ordered the volcano roll and my husband ordered the crazy chicken roll. The volcano role was amazing because I've been to other locations where they had the same role, but they went cheap with it and took away the scallops. There this volcano made my day because of the dynamite scallops toppings on it. My husband didn't really care for the crazy chicken roll and had only ordered it to try something new. However, it's chicken so his experience was kind of to be expected. He said that the next time he tries it, he will definitely stick to his favorite tuna roll. My kids enjoy the sour chicken and the fried rice. My son doesn't like fried rice was able to enjoy the order of white rice that we received with it. They just ALWAYS deliver when it comes to taste, freshness, and quality. The taco appetizer is a MUST. I usually order the Tsunami boat. This last time I visited with more guests so we also got the chef's fried rice. Okay that has to be the best fried rice I've ever had. It's just delicious! Highly recommend if you want good sushi which is surprisingly hard to find in south Florida. The restaurant was clean and welcoming and we received great service. I have eaten from here at least 6 times. Easily the best Chinese food in the area. They use good quality beef, the egg drop soup is some of the best I've had. The egg rolls are a bit average but otherwise everything I've tried has been fantastic. Wish they were closer to me. read more

I have been looking for some good Chinese food. This place was highly recommended to me by a coworker. On arrival, the place looked suspect and a bit small. We went in, and while I was waiting to find out if I needed to wait to be seated or sit anywhere, I saw another seating room. So, looks are deceiving. The sushi maker was hard at work, and the cashier, the waiter, and the server were all one person, Mario. He was very pleasant and very friendly. We were seated and ordered our drinks and food. We waited patiently but anxious to taste the food. Oh my, we were not disappointed. I ordered a house salad with ginger dressing, Mongolian beef, which came with white rice. My friend ordered General Tso chicken and fried rice. Everything was delicious. My Mongolian beef was just a tad too sweet, but I was ok with it. My daughter wanted miso soup and my husband wanted wonton soup. We didn't want to go to a Japanese restaurant for miso soup and Chinese restaurant for wonton soup so I searched on Yelp and found this place. The majority of the reviews were pretty favorable and we decided to try it. We were a little leery when we found out where it was because it's in an older plaza. They require that you wear a mask when you walk in. We were greeted when we walked in and were relieved and impressed. It's clean inside and pretty spacious. They have booths at the sides against the walls and the middle of the restaurant is empty. There's another dining section but I'm not sure if it's open at the moment. We wanted to try their food but since it was after 8 pm and we weren't really that hungry since we had a late lunch, we ordered miso soup, wonton soup, egg drop soup, egg rolls and veggie fried rice to go. The food was steaming hot when they handed it to us and was still steaming hot when we got home 15 minutes later. I didn't try the egg drop soup which my husband ended up getting but had the wonton and tried the miso soup. Both were good but a little too salty for my taste. My husband and daughter loved their soup and didn't find it salty at all. The fried rice was flavorful and I liked the broccoli that was in it. The egg roll didn't look like egg rolls that I'm used to and looked more like a spring roll. I was too full to try it but my husband did and said that it was good and he liked it. Truly a hidden gem! Good Chinese food is so hard to come by in Florida, but don't worry Riceup delivers! Stumbled upon this place passing it on university a bunch of times. After reading some solid reviews I decided to give it a try. A lot of the reviews were exclusively about sushi, which also looks amazing, but I went for solely Chinese. The prices are reasonable and the portions are large. I opted for the orange chicken and egg rolls. The orange chicken was spicy, although noted it would be on the menu...totally fine by me! It wasn't exactly what I would have expected but still delicious. It featured large chucks of white meat chicken deep fried with a yummy orange sauce. It could have used a bit more sauce for me but was still great. I did take out this time around but I would classify this as upscale takeout if you are dining in. Delicious!! Not only the food was freshly made but the service was great too! The lady who helps the tables is such a sweet heart, she checks up on your table and it's not annoying, she offers napkins and water refills. The chef came out to check if everything was ok too. The place gets a lot of pick up orders and they're usually put quickly. The food was amazing, the bbq ribs are soooo good!! The sushi was handmade with fresh ingredients, I could see the chef through the glass and his such a master we order the ceviche to try and it was very spicy it had mango, very different than I'm use to but it was very good too. Omg so good! The chicken Lo mein is fantastic!!!! Also had the general tsos and the flavor is delicious. The chicken was real chicken breast. Not weird meat inside . Fresh , plump , white meat chicken. Tried this new restaurant off of University Drive and Taft street right in the plaza where Harbor Freight store is . The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers except some men playing a game. The restaurant looks clean and has plenty of room for 90 customers. We ordered soup first, hubby had the egg drop soup and I had the veggie tofu soup all very tasty. Hubby had the volcano roll and I had the veggie Lo Mein and it was so yummy. The portions were big , I could not even finish my meal . Hubby really liked his meal too. The waitress was very attentive she even took out temperature as we sat down. I ate at Rice Up Kitchen for the first time recently. I enjoyed the Chardonnay so much that I asked what brand it was so I could buy it in the store. I actually called after I got home and the lady was helpful in figuring out which one it was. Our server was so pleasant and .are sure we had what we needed. I ordered pepper steak and it was pretty tasty. The meat was cooked just right. I thought the vegetables were extra fresh. The brown rice was not cooked enough but not too bad. Its been forever since I've eaten at a Chinese restaurant. I've eaten take out/delivery from the Weston location and the food has been good. I was not at all surprised at how good the food was here. I found that eating in is way better then delivery. First the service, our server was so good, I think she was so happy to have people eating in since most of there bissness seems to be take or delivery. Next the restaurant, its a bit older bit very clean. There is also a nice sized dining room. Finally and most importantly was the food. We started with spring rolls and edamame. The spring rolls were fantastic, even my daughter tried one and liked it. The edamame was cooked perfect and our server brought us extra salt in case we needed it. My daughter had beef fried rice. A huge portion, and she loved it. My wife has vegetable lomain it was also huge but very good. She also got a veggie roll. I shared it with her, we both really enjoyed it. And as for me I started some mixed soup. It was not salty, but very flavorful and wontons were good. I also had pepper steak. Very tasty, the peppers were cooked perfect, not over cooked and mushy. The service itself ain't worth a hoot, they don't have combination meals, everything is strictly à la carte, and I do question whether or not I'll go again. This place is deep in a plaza off University Drive behind KFC and near Harbor freight. Unless you're going there for a specific place, it doesn't look like a plaza. You would really have to visit or want to visit for that matter cause it looks empty. Rice Up is another hidden gem where you're getting fresh delicious sushi, with moist, tasty rice and the staff is always pleasant. If you come in more than once, chances are they will remember you. The inside is very open and well lit, has plenty of seating and is separated in two sides. I have yet to go there where there is a wait for a table, and it's not because the food is not good, it really is. The best part is the pricing, it is not outrageous for a sushi restaurant. I've gone to several sushi restaurants as my boys are very much into the Asian culture and this is a top-tier place, especially when there are some popular places that are overrated from advertising that serves bland, dry rice wrapped around questionable seafood.
