This is a review of this restaurant's ghost kitchen (only on Uber Eats); Sushi Kitchen. This is an exceptional choice for delivery sushi. The fish is always fresh and tasty and the other dishes have always been delicious, and the rice is soft and warm. We have never had a bad experience! Favorites include: Sweetheart Roll (salmon, yellowtail, avocado, tuna) and Spicy Girl Roll (spicy yellowtail and scallion topped with spicy salmon). We also always get salmon nigiri (plump and yummy), salmon avocado roll, and spicy salmon roll. The crab Rangoon is a MUST: they are flat triangles so it is maximum crispiness and even amount of filling throughout. The portion comes with 6 pieces and is generously sized. We have also had the shrimp shumai and chicken Gyoza which are likewise tasty. Everything is well packed in minimal sushi trays, so the packaging is not excessive. General Tso's chicken was below average. Coating was ok not too breaded but chicken was terrible. Small pieces that were dried out. Fried rice was decent. Wonton soup was below average as well. Broth was ok but wontons were tasteless. If there was a filling inside I never tasted it. I'm glad I asked for extra green onions or it wouldn't have had a taste at all. I've grabbed delivery from here a million times through Uber Eats (which within the app goes by "Sushi Kitchen" Pop-Up by Asia Kitchen.) There are a few reasons why they make it into my delivery rotation... First, their menu items are very reasonably priced. As we all know, with taxes and service & delivery fees, things can add up quickly. So it's nice to be able to order classic rolls that will only run you around $6. I typically order the Shrimp Shumai appetizer and a California Roll. I usually never order California Rolls, but for some reason theirs are kind of comforting, and remind me of the California Rolls that I ate back in college when I first started eating sushi. They use the perfect amount of rice (that is always soft and fresh) and the imitation crab is shredded, which is my fave. The Shrimp Shumai is also very good, and comes six pieces to the order. It's the lightest, little cozy snack of a starter. I've also ordered the Crab Rangoon, which is a pretty generous serving. They always seem to receive the order and get it out pretty quickly as well, so my delivery time is always pretty impressive especially considering that I don't live anywhere nearby. I'll definitely continue to keep Asia Kitchen in my delivery rotation and truly hope their faring well throughout this pandemic. read more

I rarely write reviews but I have to give this place credit. They have really good food. I'm vegetarian so I usually get the Tofu dishes. There are no weird aftertaste or smells like the food from some of the other carry outs in the area. The vegetables are fresh and actually taste like vegetables. Lol. The cashier is isn't rude. As many other comments have mentioned, you'll find Asia Kitchen's ghost Kitchen "Sushi Kitchen" on Uber Eats and you CAN'T GO WRONG. It's always fresh, delicious, flavorful, and at a great price. For takeout, especially takeout sushi, it's actually unbelieve how good this place is, it's a hidden gem. Their maki combo special is my go to: 3 rolls and a bowl of miso soup for less than $20. The Philly roll, Boston roll, Alaska roll, eel roll, and California roll are all great. The dumplings and egg rolls aren't bad either. This is just a review for the maki roll package, which I ordered through delivery. It's your choice of three sushi rolls (just the standard ones, but this includes yellowtail), and comes with soup. It is something like $16, and was SO MUCH FOOD. Each roll had 8 pieces of sushi, so it definitely lasted me two meals. For the price, I would highly recommend! Unpretentious Asian fare with a recent face lift. Over the past few months I've noticed the quality and cleanliness of this establishment increase exponentially. They have such an expensive menu that you're bound to find something for even the pickiest eaters and your family. I love this place best kept secret in Brentwood. The American dishes are really bad but thankfully very few choices. Take the food adventure try the excellent Miso soup or any Asian dish. We've been trying to find a good Chinese takeout place since moving to the area...since we've been disappointed in others we weren't sure what to expect...but Asian American was pretty good. We ordered Orange Chicken, General Tso's Shrimp, Roast Pork Fried Rice, Beef & Broccoli, and Sweet & Sour Chicken. All were decent. The General Tso's Shrimp ended up being our favorite. The Beef & Broccoli ended up being our least favorite because the beef was a bit on the chewy side. I've never reviewed on Yelp before but I'm making an exception because this was actually worth writing about. I'm originally from New Jersey. From Philadelphia to New York to everything in between, there is a TON of good Asian food. Seriously, everywhere. And it's dirt-cheap. When I moved here a few months ago and learned that I'd be working the heart of Chinatown, I was pretty darn happy because I thought that meant I'd have a variety of great Asian food to try. Nope. Except for one high-end restaurant, it's all bad. But as far as average-to-cheap pricing goes, you're out of luck. I'm pretty sure one place made me nauseous. So I started to despair. One night I go on Yelp in my relentless search for one decent Chinese delivery place in this city, and this place popped up. The reviews looked promising, so I was like, hell, why not. Ordered some general tso's chicken and sweet and sour pork (both came with fried rice and egg rolls - hey, it was gonna be a long weekend of writing papers, I'm in college, don't judge). I was amazed at how quickly they came - I think less than half an hour. Everywhere else shows up in an hour or more, regardless of how close they are. The food - it was actually good! And the fried rice was actually fried and had more than a few peas and carrots tossed in! The general tso's came with broccoli and some other veggies. The sweet and sour pork, I reheated the next day and it was still really good, and it came with a ton of sauce. The price was like maybe a buck or two higher than I'm used to (and I hate DC's taxes driving everything up), but it was definitely worth it. read more

The site even extols that you can "Customize the dish without lengthy explanations" as a benefit to online ordering... YES!!! Score and extra star for ease of use and not feeling guilty when all I want in my Kung Pow chicken is... well... chicken! (you can save those veggies for the more enlightened souls) From there we ordered Sesame Chicken, Veggie Fried Rice, some type of Lo Mien (my Fiancee's, not mine) an order of spring rolls and an order of egg rolls. All of the food arrived promptly and with the prerequisite phone call.... ring ring, me: hello, them: you order food? me: yes... them: I'm out front stupid.... o.k o.k, they didn't call me stupid but they did call to let me know the food was here. Included in the order was a free can of sunkist soda... SCORE! that they wrote FREE on and drew a smiley face next too... from there we dug in. Sesame chicken: breaded, fresh, tasty! Spring rolls: deep fried, crispy, fresh, tasty! Veggie Fried rice: a litttttleeee bland BUT not overly oily or over cooked, fresh, mildly tasty for what is is (the healthiest option on the menu!) Lo Mien: Fiancee said it was a little bland but tasted like it was real food, freshly prepared and overall totally acceptable Sunkist Soda: Amazing how sweet something free (and loaded with sugar) tastes! Each of these items were more then fairly priced and (possibly mistakenly?) came with an order of pork fried rice too. Knowing how hard it is to do everything it takes to run a business, get food cooked, and delivered to our door step at a great price and with good taste I'd say these guys are 5 Stars! First they got the order wrong. So we had to go back and get things straightened out. When we got back and told the cashier that the order was incorrect she then proceeded to argue with us. They put pork in my food and I don't eat pork. So for her to sit there arguing with me about food that I don't eat, and I'm not taking was unprofessional and unnecessary. You think that would have been the end of it, but nope. So after I continue telling her, even if she thought she heard that, I don't eat it so drop it. This disrespectful girl, I want to call her something else right now but I won't. She starts going off about how I am uneducated and I need a job, and all this other shit. So I cursed her out of course and that's when she called me a Nigger. So not only is he food just like the other Chinese spots if not worse, they were disrespectful and racist. The sad part is that they are located in a black community. If this was another community they would have stopped supporting them and eventually they would have to move because lack of business. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CHINESE RESTAURANT! The food isn't anything special, the building isn't clean, and the people are racist. Even the neighboring liquor store told me she has issues and they don't understand how people still support them. I LOVE this place. I was looking for a place that would deliver to my house without crazy high minimums and delivery fees (it seems like every menu left in my mail slot was carry out only). On top of everyone else's comments (food is very fresh, good amount of food for the price) my number one favorite feature, that would get me to order from this place over and over and overlook nearly any fault: You can order the small size (lunch size) portion of food any time! I live alone. If I order 2 or 3 dinner sized entrees, I'll be eating leftover Chinese food all week, instead of the normal "dinner and tomorrow for lunch." But sometimes you want crispy fried and saucy chicken, and some reasonable steamed veggies. No longer do I have to eat leftovers longer than I want OR only order a single tasty dish. My only quibble, and it's clearly so minor that it doesn't even detract from the stars: They never bring the food to my door. They call me from a block or so away, and then wait in the car. Most the time I don't care, sometimes I wish I didn't have to put real shoes on to go out and get my food. Once, I inadvertently knocked on my neighbor's girlfriend's car window because she drives a similar model as the delivery guy, and I wasn't paying attention. Awkward! read more

Read the reviews on Yelp and went online for dinner. Even with the D.C. traffic my food was delivered quickly! The order was accurate and Hot and tasty. Ample amounts of delicious Chinese food. Egg Foo Yung, Crab Rangoons which were huge the largest I've ever seen! and full of cream cheese with a bowl full of sauce to dip. My Foo Yung Gravy was also a bowl full and nice and thick. They sent all the condiments, soy sauce, hot mustard, and duck sauce with several forks and napkins. All the dishes were packed well and delivered with a smile! I couldn't have asked for more.
