    Slimey surprise surcharge

Yummy fried dumplings. Staff is very nice. Subtracting 1 star for the credit card surcharge that's on your receipt and not mentioned in advance. Slimey!

    bad milk tea
    Vivian Z.

I got a hot hong king milk tea and it was disgusting lol i never write reviews but it was so bad i had to. the first time it was handed to me it was COLD and didn't even taste like tea so I I was like hey isn't this supposed to be hot? and the person working apologized and poured the same drink back into a metal cup to reheat it. When it was handed back to me again it was like maybe 3 degrees warmer - like under lukewarm..but i felt bad and didn't want to bother anymore and just left with it. When i tasted it again still tasted nothing like tea. Wayyyyyy too milky and had a burnt/incense scent. Not even reminiscent of a real milk tea. I don't even have high standards but trust me you can make a better one at home :) Nothing wrong with the service and other food maybe fine (didn't try) just don't get the milk tea.

Xinjiang braised chicken hand-pulled noodle was pretty good. Noodles had a good soft yet firm texture, and chicken was moist and flavorful.

I don't even know how to describe the energy in this place, but you can just feel it the moment you walk in. The restaurant has a dark aesthetic that gives it such a cool, cozy ambiance. My daughter and I ordered the Dan Dan noodles and spicy wontons. Everything was so filling that we ended up ordering another bowl of the Dan Dan noodles! And honestly, I still crave them. The Dan Dan noodles were SO good. The sauce was the perfect combination of creamy and spicy, and there was a generous amount of minced pork that balanced everything out really well. The wontons paired perfectly with the chili sauce that came with them! They were spicy--my ears turned red and my nose started running--but I literally could not stop going back for another bite. Even the wontons alone were incredibly filling. I don't live anywhere near this place, and I genuinely wish I did. I traveled pretty far to get here, and I'd absolutely do it again. This was one of those meals that stays on your mind long after you've left!

Great cocktails, better food. Some of our favorites are the salt and pepper eggplant and the OG LaZy chicken. Inside is dimly lit with energetic music. Reservations are encouraged as this place does get busy and it leads to the phone not being answered. Small staff but big hearts for the customers. I've enjoyed the high level of customer service during my visits. Can we talk about the pork belly? Chiillle, it runs out fast so go early. If they do run out, the soy garlic chicken dish will get you right. The mixologists do a kick butt job on the drinks and there are non-alcoholic options if you're not in a getting tipsy mood. I was pleased with the different flavors and portion sizes. There may have been one dish that I wasn't over the moon about, and even then it was still edible. The manager will come to discuss any substitutions if they run out of an item. When this happens, they more than make up for it by offering something comparably delicious. I would recommend and return to explore more of the menu.

For appetizers, we shared the salt and pepper calamari and the jah leung. The calamari was good was but was on the saltier side. I've never had jah leung; it was a very pretty dish and tasted interesting but not sure if I really liked the textures. For my entree, I ordered the beef brisket chow fun. I liked how tender the beef was but it was also on the saltier side. I got to try my husband's char siu place and my friend's crispy pork belly. Both were really tasty and I would probably get those next time instead! Overall, the service was good and I was pretty happy with the food in general (maybe I'm just sensitive to salt).

With that, I must say that the reviews did not lie...gosh this food was AMAZING! The combination lo mein contained roasted pork, chicken, and shrimp. I added vegetables to the mix and honey, I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity (made for 3 small meals) but also the quality of the dish. The roasted pork, shrimp, and chicken was perfectly prepared and the lo mein was just right. The flavors combined together for a lite yet delectable dish and I especially loved the vegetables (bok Choy) I would absolutely order here again as long as the quality doesn't change.

The food is consistently fresh, hot, and good, and the customer service is always great. The restaurant itself is fairly small and definitely more of a carry-out than a dine-in restaurant, which is perfectly fine for what it is. My only complaint is that I wish they stayed open later! I usually have to order during work hours because by the time I'm off, they're already closed. Other than that, this is easily one of my favorite spots for Chinese food.

The restaurant I very clean and the decorations are really pretty. We ordered soup dumplings and noodles and our food was ready really fast. I ordered the veg spicy and sour noodles and they come with an egg and crispy pieces of corn and a lot of boi hot which I love. The flavor was spicy with a hint of lime for the sour flavor. My husband ordered the beef noodle soup and he said it tasted amazing. Our chicken soup dumplings were full of flavor and a lot of broth inside. This place is really similar to Yu noodles which is one of my favorite places so if I'm ever in the area again I would go to this place for soup dumplings. Our server was really sweet as well.
