Clockwise: Steamed Broccoli, General Tsos Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken Skewer And BBQ Chicken. All Delicious!
    Mike G.

Who would have thought that a Chinese buffet would have some of the best General Tso's Chicken? Yeah, Asian Buffet seriously raises the bar with super crispy chunks of perfectly battered chicken, lightly sauced in a sweet and smokey pungent goodness that will be sure to impress. No exaggeration folks, their General Tso's kicks ass. There are about 50 items available and most of what I've tried is very good. You really need to check out their Seafood Medley, Teriyaki Chicken Skewers, BBQ Chicken, Crab Rangoon and Baked Salmon. They've got all the usual dishes along with a few unexpected surprises but I'll let you find that out for yourself. No, wait, I'll give you one: Seafood Soup. It's Cantonese, mild and savory. It's not always available but when they have it, it's worth trying. Lunch prices are about $9.50 and dinner is around $12.50. Sorry, no idea about weekend prices... Whatever you do, just remember that a good buffet experience = timing so go during lunch or dinner when the food is coming out hot and fresh. Asian Buffet is good value for the money so check it out sometime. And We All Love A Good Food Hack... Get creative people! * Vegetable Lo Mein: Add some beef or chicken. You can also flavor it up by adding some sauce and mixing it up. * Seafood Soup: Add some salmon or shrimp from the buffet to give this more depth of flavor. Also, don't forget the condiments on the table. * Hot and Sour Soup: Add some BBQ Chicken or Smoked Chicken. * Egg Drop Soup / Hot and Sour Soup: Do a 50/50 mix. It's good.

    A snap of a friend's plate!

The service was prompt, we never had an empty or low glass. We also never had a dirty empty plate sit more than a few seconds. They had the largest selection of sushi we've seen at a buffet, and everything was labeled. The hibachi was really good too, pick out what you want and a chef cooks it for you. The Chinese was very good as well.

All very impressive. Not too busy on Friday at 11:30 am but it got busier. Service for drinks was very attentive but almost everyone i saw just got water. I asked about Japanese drinks and the waiter said we go to the front and grab those out of a fridge. On to the food. I started with the sushi of which there was a very large selection of both sashimi and sushi rolls, including several different toppings. I was bitterly disappointed that the taste of the sushi was not good. In fact, I could not even eat it except for the fried items which were good, although not really hot. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I did stuff a couple pieces of sushi in a napkin so that it didn't look so wasteful but really I could not eat it. Unfortunately this was my daughter's first time trying sushi so still not sure if she likes it. Onto the other hot dishes, the Asian food such as general Tso chicken, chicken with mushrooms, and beef with peppers was all very good. However, the fried rice just had some color and onion in it, no egg, no carrots, no peas. And the noodles were very basic but edible. The spring roll was very mushy again could not finish that. At this point, I was kind of over trying to find things that I liked and decided to end with some ice cream. There were just little cups of ice cream three different flavors and this was honestly the best part of my meal. My daughter tried three little cakes and she said they were excellent. I'm not sure about the salads and the fried American foods they had but overall I would just say the quality wasn't something I would go back for. There were people that had been there before, seemed like regulars and even had reward card to punch so maybe certain palletes enjoy it. I do think that the Asian protein dishes were the best part for me but not worth a return trip.

Chose a table and counted 7 tables stacked with dirty dishes and not cleaned off. The speaker was blaring Michael Jackson and I do mean blaring. The waitress was doing her best. When she was asked about the dirty tables and the blaring music she was making excuses of inexperienced manager, shift change etc. This is the only restaurant we still go to because I grew up going there. Apologizing is a good thing but, not giving them back or any other incentive other than an apology sounds like someone just trying to make Hollywood look like they've done something to look better. I came in and gave you my money then was given $10 only to have that taken away is. Not much incentive to return. I will be going to Eldorado today to take advantage of the $20 free play I mentioned as it starts today and that is an incentive for me to go visit. Thanks for the apology but it really seems quite stingy when a big casino takes $10 from a player then is told there was $15 which I never seen and I checked my Penn account and it is still $0 After someone takes something from you then apologizes , it's not much incentive to go back and if Hollywood is really not into incentives that's okay but I would feel the same way if someone took money from me in any other way. If you want to make it right, let me know but an apology doesn't make it right in my book. Have a great day and hopefully your marketing team is better than what I've experienced. I would like to add that I improved the rating from one star to three over an apology and I know $10 is a petty amount to be upset over but, if the offer is supposed to be good for six months then that's a violation of your policy regardless of how I feel. If you can't see how it looks to take $10 from a disabled veteran and maybe I'm wrong and if so I'll apologize but, it doesn't look good from here. Now I'm feeling very upset and when thinking about it, it just seems someone or your system is not working right. 82d Airborne Division ALL THE WAY!!!
