Pretty sure this place changed hands during the summer of 2025. It's now known as #1 Asian Buffet. Before it was terrible food and dirty. Now it's actually decent Asian food, especially considering it's in an area where Asian food isn't necessarily well-known or popular. It was clean and the buffet food was warm. Not sure if you can order off the menu, as the evening we recently went there it was all-you-can-eat buffet or you can get food from the buffet to go and pay by weight. They had a very large selection of items, including lots of reasonably healthy food with chicken, shrimp and vegetables. For those in your party who don't like Asian food, they had some fried shrimp, chicken and fish and some potatoes. The best tasting food I had was teriyaki chicken. The chicken was tender and the sauce was quite good. Some of the shrimp dishes, General Tso's chicken, the fried rice and the noodle dish were also good. Dessert offerings included little individual servings of a very light chocolate mousse that was very good. Overall, this is a reasonably good place to get Asian food (mostly Chinese but some Japanese style, too, including some sushi) in Greene County. Well, I really hate reviews like this, but I have to be honest. First, I ordered a hot tea and upon my first sip I realized they had brought a dirty cup. Second, literally EVERYTHING on the buffet was room temperature or straight up cold!!! What's so crazy is we arrived about 11:00 am, so I expected hot food. With that being said, the flavors on everything was on point, cold or not. They offer a large variety of different flavors and dishes The one thing I did get hot was the egg drop soup, and it was so flavorful!!! We finished the experience with fresh oranges from the cold bar, and they were such a treat! Service was actually fantastic, I just couldn't believe that absolutely everything was cold. I forgot to mention how affordable this buffet was, only about $15 per person.If they served their food hot l would have overlooked the dirty cup and given them 5 stars. I have gone to this restaurant several times. The service is usually good, but the food is too on the scale of 10. I keep hoping it will get better. The last time I was there all the fried food was cold and some of the Chinese dishes were cold also. When I complained about it, they said me they would give me my 10% senior discount as a remedy for the situation. But I'm 65 years old so I get it anyway. I won't be back. read more

Myself and one of my friends came to this place to try their buffet. I was told that they have new owners and a new staff. I left a review of this place in 2019 before COVID was a huge problem. I started with the hot and sour soup. Not long after my first bite, I realized how this soup was as described. It talked to me and said "FOOL, you may take me down but I will make you PAY." I started to sweat and my nose started to run. I knew then that this was a special kind of soup. I had several kinds of dishes and noodles. The shrimp was a joy to eat. The General Tso chicken was packed with flavor and made me hum for that is how wonderful it was. The Lo Mien noodles were cooked to perfection and were not oily at all. The server was top flight, She checked on the both of us at least 7 times while we were there. Her smile and attitude was also a wonderful experience. New owners re-opened the buffet after the Pandemic. The previous owners had had a gradeschool fundraiser coupon out for a free beverage (What, a buck or two?) with purchase of the buffet ($17!) Today I tried Asian Buffet Mongolian Grill. I was pleased with the food quality, freshness, and the taste. I thought some of the dishes on the buffet were very good. The Mongolian Grill part of the restaurant is a bar of fresh vegetables, meats and sauces. You choose what you like and a chef cooks it for you. The restaurant was clean and the service was good and friendly. As for the prices, well it was $ 6.90 for lunch buffet. I thought it was a great deal. We've been craving Chinese food and, since we had an errand to take care of in Linton, we ordered take out. The egg rolls were outstanding. My wife got pineapple chicken, which would've been better with fresh pineapple but was still tasty. I got the orange chicken and it was better than it sounded. Good little kick of heat. Every time I've ever stopped here to eat it's always been fresh food and everything has tasted absolutely great. The whole buffet is usually kept stocked well with food, the only thing that is iffy is the serve yourself ice cream. Other than that this place is a go to if I'm going through Linton. read more

I have been there many times I kept thinking oh it was not good the last time it will get better. It never did food tastes like it has sat there for hours under the heat lamp and it is all chewy. Shrimp always had the vain in it and crawfish is gray not good! read more

I got take out to try there menu. I order fried wontons and boneless spare ribs and fried potsticker and steamed potsticker and wonton soup. The fried wontons where burned and the woman lied to me she said that it had meat in it and had to be cooked very well so that it will be done. Ok I expected crispy not incinerated. I have a 80 pound chow hound for a dog I mean this dog will eat anything he would take the wonton and roll it around in his mouth and spit out. The wonton soup is the one thing that I always get to test out a new Chinese place there soup was BAD the wontons in the soup where mushy and not in a good way. They had a slimy texture let me say GROSS! I do not even know what that was they where calling the boneless spareribs the meat was SMALL and had some kind of gross sticky sauce. We used to like it. We were regulars. We got treated poorly this time and were asked if we were going to eat shrimp because it was now dinnertime and not lunch. We got there at 3:15, I didn't know there were "hours" for lunch and dinner. Waitress said it's okay if you eat a little, just don't eat a whole bunch or we will charge you for dinner. Well we said okay to be polite because I really, really should have said what I wanted to. Don't go to this place early for "dinner" because everything on the buffet was nasty, dried out and we had little to choose from. An example would be the potatoes were dark brown , the rice noodles were dried and crusty. there were maybe 5 green beans, the Gen chicken was hard and dried out and the food was cold. This is the short list! We should have walked out. I should have told the waitress off. So insulting to question what we would eat! So instead We didn't leave a tip and will NEVER go back! After the waitress muse, the staff were yelling in their language and I know it was directed at us, as we were the only one's there. They stared at us to make sure we didn't eat any dinner food! We WERE regulars, and they should never have said anything. What caused this? I got 3 shrimp. That's it. Treat me like crap, you are crap! read more
